Insurance Portfolio Proposal of a Company SMERO, spol. s r.o.
Adam, Karel ; Křivánek, Jan (referee) ; Martinovičová, Dana (advisor)
This thesis concerns the question of the suitable insurance portfolio for chosen enterprise - SMERO, spol.s r.o. The thesis contains risk analysis and also the concept of insurance portfolio that aims to minimize the most serious risks influencing the business using insurance products.
Design and Implementation of a Codec for Iwadari Code
Křivánek, Jan ; Drábek, Vladimír (referee) ; Sekanina, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design, the implementation and oncoming testing of circuits implementing the encoder and the decoder of the Iwadari code with universal correction ability. The design according to the theory of forward error correction systems is well-founded by mathematic modeling. Describing of the implementation prefers VHDL language. The implemented encoder and decoder were simulated in specialized development environments to verify their correct operation. Final demonstrational physical implementation of testing connection of the encoder and the decoder in experimental educational platform FIT-kit was made to show their function and mechanism.
Library for Pluggable Enriching of the JScript Engine
Dziadzio, Pavel ; Kajan, Michal (referee) ; Křivánek, Jan (advisor)
The Bachelor's thesis deals with scripting technology ActiveX Scripting. It describes possibilities of hosting the JScript scripting engine and the Web Browser component for a purpose of providing simple tool for application extending. It focuses on options and methods for injection of custom elements into scripting engine. The result is a library that makes these operations simpler and provides to programmer intuitive interface. This work also describes the processes in scripting engine during script execution.
Displaying .NET Libraries References
Prajs, Karel ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Křivánek, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with an analyse of references of libraries and its graphical representation. First part of document introduces some options of solution with focus on reflection (to analyse references) and magnetic-spring model (to generate graph). Second part deals with implementation of these methods, its connection and integration into graphical user interface.
The Impact of Candidate Solution Mappings on Evolutionary Algorithm Efficiency
Hrbáček, Jiří ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Křivánek, Jan (advisor)
The Concern of the present study is summarizing knowledges in the theory of mapping candidate solutions , analysis and application of evolutionary algorithms. The study provides summary of the evolutionary algorithms, classification and application. The target of the study is links gained knowledge from sectionS of ; evolutionary algorithms, mapping candidate solutions and creations of a system that will demonstrate and influence mapping the efficiency of the evolutionary algorithms succesfully.
Evolutionary Prediction of Time Series
Křivánek, Jan ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Sekanina, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis summarizes knowledge in the field of time series theory, method for time series analysis and applications in financial modeling. It also resumes the area of evolutionary algorithms, their classification and applications. The core of this work combines these knowledges in order to build a system utilizing evolutionary algorithms for financial time series forecasting models optimization. Various software engineering techniques were used during the implementation phase (ACI - autonomous continual integration, autonomous quality control etc.) to ensure easy maintainability and extendibility of project by more developers.
Reproductive strategy of the termite Silvestritermes minutus and its consequences for the life history and ecological succes
Křivánek, Jan ; Hanus, Robert (advisor) ; Klimeš, Petr (referee)
Mixed reproductive strategies are unique modes of reproduction, in which the organisms alternate sexual and asexual offspring production to benefit from both processes. In termites, such a strategy was first described in 2009 and dubbed Asexual Queen Succession (AQS). Reproduction in most termite species is based on a presence of one pair of long-lived reproductives, the primary king and queen, producing in a lifelong strict monogamy all other colony members using classical sexual processes. In a few rare species, the primary queen has been observed to be replaced at some stage of colony development by a harem of neotenic queens. These arise from unfertilized eggs via thelytokous parthenogenesis and reproduce with the founding king. While the workers, soldiers and winged dispersing reproductives remain to be produced sexually, new generations of parthenogenetic neotenic queens appear in the colony to supplement the harem. As long as the founding king is alive, the genetic constitution of most offspring remains identical as if the founding queen would still be alive, while the overall fecundity of the colony increases thanks to the large number of queens. At the same time, the continuous renewal of the harem by new parthenogens offers a virtually unlimited lifespan extension to the colony. In my...
