Krigl, Vladimír ; Slačálek, Ondřej (advisor) ; Křížkovský, Matyáš (referee)
This thesis will focus on what influence Taiwan has on the mutual relations and rivalry between China and the United States of America. The thesis will focus mainly on the events after 2012, when Xi Jingping took office as the Chinese president, which resulted in a transformation of Chinese foreign policy. The research will be conducted using the theoretical concepts of the Thucydides Trap and the Security Dilemma. In the second part of the thesis, using the scenario method, it will be investigated what a change in the current status quo in Taiwan would mean for both superpowers.

It is followed by an introduction of the theoretical approaches to analyse these ideologies, outlining the basic methodological assumptions for a morphological analysis of the journals of Hnuti Duha. This analysis shows that between the periods 1991-1994 and 1998-2000 can be seen significant ideological transformations that are linked both with the inclination to certain elements of conservative thought and partly an inclination to a non-political politics. Green Freedom. Concept of emancipation in ecocentric thought
Reichelová, Tereza ; Barša, Pavel (advisor) ; Křížkovský, Matyáš (referee)
(English) By the time the liberals triumphantly proclaimed the end of history, some environmentalists started to mobilize the public against western modernity by proclaiming the end of nature. For many people, the environmentalist agenda meant a new ideology that could exceed the classical ones; many, on the other hand, understood environmentalism as radically anti-ideological. In this thesis, I'll focus on the relationship between nature and society that lies in the core of both, environmental thought and modern emancipatory projects. I'll try to expose the inherent contradictions that the environmental discourse inherited from liberalism and Marxism.

The Concept of the Lawful Freedom in Kant's Political Philosophy
Křížkovský, Matyáš ; Znoj, Milan (advisor) ; Bíba, Jan (referee)
Isaiah Berlin assigned Immanuel Kant to the theorists of positive concept of freedom tradition. This concept is according to him paradoxical, because it starts with the individual's desire to be his own master and ends at disciplination and coercion. The aim of the bachelor thesis "The Concept of the Lawful Freedom in Kant's Political Philosophy" is to explore the extent to which Kant fits to thus defined tradition of positive freedom and whether he isn't exceptional in some way. This thesis will interpret Kant's concept of freedom in broader context of his practical philosophy, focusing on the relationship between morality and law. KEY WORDS liberty, law, ethic, right, liberalism
