The Image of the Czech Republic in the Pages of German Newspapers within Context of the European Migration Crisis
Křížková, Veronika ; Emler, David (advisor) ; Šafařík, Petr (referee)
This master's thesis examines the image of the Czech Republic that the German media promote in the context of the European migration crisis. For this purpose, articles from three German daily newspapers dating from 2015 until 2016 were examined. The research was carried out on 186 articles using quantitative content analysis and constant comparative method. Throughout the research the information on when and how the media wrote about the Czech Republic were gathered. In the context of the European migration crisis a recurring image of the Czech Republic was created mainly through the EU perspective, along with the other members of the Visegrad Group. For its rejecting position of the European solution for the crisis, which was supported by Germany, the image of the Czech Republic is rather negative and the state is denounced for lacking. The German media coverage of the Czech Republic was strongly politicized and embodied by politicians. The results of the research can provide an overview of the perception of the Czech Republic by Germany during the European migration crisis. The results can contribute to further research on this current topic as well.

Nursing care of the patient with lymfedema under the treatment of Complex decongestive therapy
Šertlerová, Kateřina ; Heřmanová, Jana (advisor) ; Křížková, Veronika (referee)
In the theoretical part of my theses I have dealt with lymphedema from the point of wiew of etiology and pathofyziology. I have described the lymph origin and transport, the lymphatics structure, the drenage of body parts to the corresponding regional lymphatic nodes and the lymphatic watershed. This basic theoretical knowledge is necessary for the understanding of the Complex decongestive therapy method, that is described in the practical part. Next I have described lymphedema clasification, clinical depiction and diagnosis. I have shortly described the method of the Complex decongestive therapy. In the practical part I have dealt with more detailed description of the method and with using it on a real patient. I have described the manual lymph drainage, the pneumo-pressotherapy, the compression therapy with the bandage and garments, the skin care and the patient education in the management of the lymphedema. In the discussion part I have compared the lymphedema management at various departments in our country as well as at the foreign ones. I can pronounce, that the framework of lymphedema care is the same at all of the monitored departments and countries. The Complex decongestive therapy is the first-choise method at all of them.
