Financial Analysis of Construction Company

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to prepare a financial analysis of MSO Trade a.s. in the period 2012-2016. The thesis consists of two main parts. In the first part is theooretically defined financial analysis, its intention, the users, the data sources and the methods used to assess the financial situation. The bachelor thesis uses absolute, differential and ratio indicators. In the second part a case study of the selected company was prepared using the methods described in the theoretical part. Based on the outputs of the financial analysis, overall summaries have been compiled, which draws recommendations for further business direction.

The practical part use the acquired theoretical knowledge for a construction contract – construction of a shop and office building for a construction company. It includes risk identification, evaluation and proposal for measures to minimize or completely eliminate risks.
