Influence of heavy vehicle load to the vehicle deceleration

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of braking trucks at different loads. The theoretical part defines the basic construction of trucks, truck brakes, the braking process and the factors that affect braking, braking deceleration, and legislative requirements for truck brakes. The practical part describes the course of experimental measurements, the use of the technique, the place of measurement, atmospheric conditions and used trucks. At the end of the work, based on experimental measurements, the obtained values of braking deceleration of trucks are evaluated.
Evaluation of the Economy of the Selected Public Corporation

Focus of this bachelor thesis is on financial and economic efficiency of city Vyškov during years 2012 to 2016. Firstly, theoretical analysis states fundamental concepts concerning the local council. Secondly, the analytical section offers description of the city, analysis of approved and actual budgets and historical development of income, expenses and other key metrics. Lastly, based on the latter section, a set of policies that result in an increase of financial and economic efficiency as well as development of services offered to the public, are presented.
Risk analysis of building design with regard to the selected material characteristics

This thesis focuses on the verification of physical and mechanical characteristics of hardened concrete, especially concrete compressive strength, static and dynamic modulus of elasticity. The job description is to perform a series of laboratory analyzes for structural concrete and evaluate the test results meet requirements that are specified in the European standards for designing buildings. The work also includes selected techniques for risk assessment (FMEA, Pareto diagram, Ishikawa diagram) and their application to selected process. Part of the work is also a static comparison of measured characteristics and consideration of the risks associated with variations in the monitored quantities.
Study of possibilities of hydrofobization of masonry clay blocks for plinth walls

The work is focused on the design method of hydrophobic cavity brick fittings for the construction of masonry structures, especially plinth masonry and other external structures subjected to elevated moisture. The scope of work is to undertake a literature review of hydrophobic products and methods for reducing absorption of masonry blocks. The work is also practical verification of the effectiveness of selected hydrofobics the brick fittings. The target is to find the optimal method of reducing the absorption of masonry elements, both in terms of the resulting utility properties and economic viewpoint.
