Children plays initiated by the teacher as a support of the General educational plan for preschool education

The main focus of this thesis is the application of teacher-initiated play as a method for education of children aged three to six, according to RVP for preschool education (2004). The theoretical section discusses different types of play, their development and the role of the teacher in every one. The play is studied based on the RVP (2004), section Child and psychology. This section also presents the education plan used in the kindergarten, where the research is conducted. The practical section presents the actual research. A special development program was designed that allowed the teachers to evaluate the influence of a teacher-initiated play on the development of speech and pronunciation in a group of children (aged three to four).
