Prague - Besançon Rudolf II and the de Granvelle family Collection
Ježková, Markéta ; Konečný, Lubomír (advisor) ; Fučíková, Eliška (referee) ; Seifertová, Hana (referee)
Praha -Besançon Rudolf II. a sbírka rodiny de Granvelle Předložená práce se věnuje části sbírky rodiny de Granvelle, kterou mezi léty 1589-1601 postupně získal císař Rudolf II. Na pozadí historických událostí rodina de Granvelle během čtyř generací zažila strmý společenský vzestup i pád. Nicolas a jeho syn Antoine de Granvelle zastávali významné funkce na dvoře Karla V. a později Filipa II. Během této doby dokázali vybudovat jednu z největších a nejkvalitnějších sbírek 16. století, zároveň však byli svědky jejího rozprášení během nizozemské revoluce a postupného rozprodeje v prvních desetiletích 17. století. V současné době jsou známé pouze dvě hlavní cesty rozprodeje sbírky. Větší z částí se podařilo zachovat v Besançonu. Počtem, nikoli však významem, menší část se dostala do sbírek císaře Rudolfa II. v Praze a následně sdílela další osudy sbírek Pražského hradu. Předkládaná práce v první části podává kritický přehled dosavadní literatury věnované dané části sbírky požadované Rudolfem II. Pro českého čtenáře většinou není dostupná ani většina historicky orientovaných textů o členech rodiny, následuje proto stručný přehled jejího vzestupu, pádu a mecenariátu. Zároveň se představuje kontext, v jakém sbírka vznikala. Ústředním bodem práce je kapitola věnovaná příběhu Rudolfovy postupné akvizice....
Comparison of the news reports broadcast in the radio Impuls, Frekvence 1 and Evropa 2 in November 2011
Ježková, Markéta ; Moravec, Václav (advisor) ; Maršík, Josef (referee)
The main target of the work is to compare content and style of the news in three major commercial radio stations in the Czech Republic. Those are Impuls, Frekvence 1 and Evropa 2. The principal theoretical part is describing the beginning of the radio newscast in the Czech Republic. I am introducing each type of the news and also the genre of particular news elements. I am also defining the differences and particularities of news cast in commercial and public radios. In the interviews with managers responsible for broadcast a reader has a chance to understand topical style and structure of the newscast in radios. Another crucial part of the dissertation is the content analysis, that shows topics and localization of all the news present at the explored radio stations.
Charles le Brun anh his influence on the concept of the passions in the french aesthetics of the fine arts in the second half of the 17th century
Ježková, Markéta ; Dykast, Roman (advisor) ; Hlobil, Tomáš (referee)
The present essay deals with the Charles Le Brun's theory of the representation of passions. It summarizes the most important publications about Le Brun's lecture on expression ("Conference generale et particuliere) and mention some neglected aspects, for example its relation to the tradition of ancient rhetoric or period manners. The lecture is set in the context of period quarrels (quarrel about the importance of drawing or colour, quarrel of the Ancients and Moderns) and a special attention is given to the sources wich were used by Le Brun to develop his theory (philosophical, rhetorical, medical and physiognomical studies, book of manners) It follows from the study of literature and sources that the Le Brun's theory was innovative in many aspects but still depended on the older tradition, probably more than was recently supposed.
A contribution to the theory and practice of representation of passions in visual arts around 1800
Ježková, Markéta ; Konečný, Lubomír (advisor) ; Prahl, Roman (referee)
The presented thesis deals with the French classicism theory of mechanism and representation of passions as the source of some art works created in the region of Bohemia around the year 1800. The theory of mechanism and representation of passions was developed in Paris at Academie Royalle de Peinture & Sculpture (Academy of Fine Arts) during the 17th century. The academicians were working on a project of creation of an universal model, which was based on the current scholastic discoveries and ancient Rome, to set a guideline to produce a piece of art which could "call" the spectator, touch his heart, allow him to read the presented story and recognize passions which the figures were undergoing. The way to reach this complex aim was initiated by René Descaretes in his writing "Passion of the Soul". His writing was lately modified and enriched by illustrations of Charles Le Brun, the artist of the king's court. Students of art were facilitated to learn and understand of the causes that lead in the expression of passions in the human face. Young artist were allowed to understand the passions, which were not publicly know because of the strict standards of social behavior. Le Brun's drawings of the human face were mostly neutral so they could be used for both sexes in various contexts. The Le Brun's writing was...
