Design of the load-bearing RC structure of the kindergarten
Ježek, Jakub ; Požár, Michal (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and structural analisys of the supporting part of monolithic reinforced concrete structure of kindregarden by using methodology of BIM. In the bachelor thesis was made a calculation of the load, static analysis of the structure and optimal reinforcement design. Based on the static calculation a digital 3D model of reinforcement was created, along with technical drawing and technical report.
Lumbar spinal stenosis: changes in the fibrous structures of the posterior spinal column and the rule of the ligamentum flavum
Ježek, Jakub ; Krbec, Martin (advisor) ; Chaloupka, Richard (referee) ; Matějka, Jiří (referee)
The dissertation is focused on lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS), because it is a serious desease, that primary affects elderly patients and which often leads to disability. Because the pathophysiology or feasible prophylaxy is not yet fully understood, the first part of the thesis is devoted to the ligamentum flavum (LF), whose changes (hypertrophy and degeneration) are one of the main factors leading to LSS. We focused in this experimental part on changes in the LF properties that could cause its degeneration and hypertrophy - changes in vascularization (investigated as vascular density - Lv), the presence of inflammatory changes and the occurrence of chondroid metaplasia, and then to clarify changes in the LF mechanical properties (stiffness). Vascular density analysis of degenerated and healthy human LF combined with measurement of micromechanical properties was performed. It was found that Lv changes were not dependent on the degree of LSS but were age dependent, that is, LF vascular density declines up until 50 years of age and thereafter changes very little. A significant increased incidence of chondroid metaplasia and clear signs of inflammation in LSS patients were found out. LF samples from LSS patients showed significantly lower stiffness in comparison to samples of healthy patients. The...
Acquisition of property from unauthorized person
Ježek, Jakub ; Zvára, Michael (advisor) ; Salač, Josef (referee)
Acquisition of property from unauthorized person Abstract Acquisition of property from unauthorized person, the subject of the thesis, represents an original way of acquiring property rights and breakthrough to the civil law principle nemo plus iuris ad alium transfere potest quam ipse habet - no one can transfer more rights to another than they have themselves (nemo dat rule). The Civil Code allows for the right of ownership to pass to a bona fide transferee under certain conditions, even if from a person who lacked the appropriate authorization to transfer. The legislator thus takes into account, in particular, the protection of good faith as a general principle of law and the fact that, in the case of items not registered in public registers, it is not possible to establish reliably who is the owner. This thesis focuses on the acquisition of ownership rights from unauthorized person to movable property, the aim is to provide a general interpretation of the mentioned institute, to analyze the Civil Code regulation in relation to it and to compare it with foreign legislation. The thesis is divided into four parts, the first of which is devoted to the interpretation of the basic knowledge of civil law doctrine in relation to the subject, the inclusion of the institute in the system of property rights as a...
The challenges of producing 360° video with VR features
Dvořák, Vojtěch Adalbert ; JEŽEK, Jakub (advisor) ; GUNARATNA, Vidu (referee)
The thesis focuses on description of basic principlesof 360° video creation, which can be projected in a virtual environment using VR headphones or display devices such as smartphones. The text briefly presents the history of large format screening, which is the forerunner of today's screenings. Furthermore, the thesis covers a modern projection of 360° video. It presents the concept of "Equidistant cylindrical projection", which is crucial for this type of projection. The thesis also discusses the viewer's comfort, basic camera design and post-production, including the problem of stitching. There are also some tips that can help the authors in realization process. The thesis furthermore includes short reference to a 360° compact camera that served to test procedures and detect shooting pitfalls for 360° projection. Finally, the text offers reflection of the use of this media in dramatic works such as film.
Nursing care of the patient after total endoprothesis of hip joint
Kucharíková, Anna ; Holubová, Jana (advisor) ; Ježek, Jakub (referee)
This work deals with a case study on nursing care of the patient after total endoprothesis of hip joint, which was performed because of primary diagnosis of right hip. This work is composed of two parts: a clinical and nursing. The clinical section includes basic of anatomy, disease characteristics, pathogenesis, clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment, basic information about the patient, tests review during hospitalization, pharmacotherapy and the course of hospitalization. Nursing section includes a brief description of the nursing process and the of the Model of functional health by Marjory Gordon. In the short-term plan for the first operational day are determined current and potential nursing diagnosis and elaborate the objectives of nursing care, care plans, their implementation and evaluation. Then followed a long-term care plan. Then there is the section dealing with psychological aspect of the patient, social issues, education, and prognosis. Work is supplemented by a list of abbreviations, bibliography, summary tables and a list of attachments. In the enclosures are nursing anamnesis, Barthel's test of basic activities of daily living ADL (Activity Daily Living), the risk of decubituses according to Norton scale and fall risk rating.
Analysis of consumption tax development in the Czech republic during the period 1993 - 2011
Ježek, Jakub ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Doležalová, Antonie (referee)
Analysis of consumption tax development in the Czech republic during period 1993 -- 2011 stresses two important turning points which influenced the legal framework of consumption taxes. The adoption of the law no. 587/1992 Sb. set the consumption tax legislation. The law distributed subject of taxation by its characteristics into several categories: mineral oils, ethyl alcohol, beer, wine and its intermediates. Taxation was defined for each category. It was the first step to the integration of the czech consumption tax legal framework to European union legislation. The second turning point was adoption of the law no. 353/2003 Sb. which adjusted consumption tax legal framework because of Czech republic accession to the EU. The entire tax administration was transferred to Custom office, which caused higher tax collection effiency and restraint of the tax evasion. Furthermore consumption tax rate of mineral oils and tobacco products increased. The current consumption tax of ethyl alcohol, beer and wine is severalfold exceeded minimum rates set by EU. The positive dependence of the tax revenue on the level of consumption tax rate in the Czech republic was proved by the emperical evidence. In years 2008 and 2009 was registered significant decrease, however it was caused by the recent economic crisis.
