Application of CAD/CAM software for machining
Havran, Lukáš ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the application of CAD / CAM system in machining. It contains a brief search of the possibilities of programming in CAD / CAM systems. Software that were used in this work were Creo Parametric from PTC and PowerMILL from Autodesk. The practical part of this work is focused on the production of a copy of a physically existing component using selected systems. In this part, attention is paid to the creation of a 3D model together with production of documentation using the Creo program and the creation of the machining program in PowerMILL for the implementation of production at CNC machine. The proposed procedure is verified by graphical simulation. Part of the practical part is also the selection of suitable machinery and tools for the actual production. The conclusion of the work is devoted to the control of the manufactured component.
Determination of measurement uncertainty of a coordinate measuring machine in nanometrology
Potanko, Andrej ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the determination of measurement uncertainty on coordinate measuring machines in the field of nanometrology. These are SIOS NMM 1 and Zeiss UPMC 850 Carat machines, which are used at the CMI workplace in Brno. In the theoretical part, the work is devoted to basic terminology in the field of measurement and general characteristics of coordinate measuring machines. The theoretical part concludes with a description of the devices used for measurement. In the practical part, experimental measurements are performed on both devices with subsequent identification and quantification of individual components of uncertainties affecting the measurement. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the overall evaluation of measurements on Zeiss and SIOS devices and their metrological comparison.
Quality assurance of ultrasonic instruments
Macková, Ivana ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with quality assurance of ultrasonic instruments. The thesis presents the ultrasonic technologies, the types of ultrasonic tools used nowadays and the requirements for their quality. The thesis addresses the issue of time-consuming quality control of ultrasonic instruments. The solution of the given problem consists in the use of statistical process control and application of acceptance sampling. According to the sampling plan, the acceptance number and the sample size to be checked during the output inspection is determined. By reducing the number of pieces to be inspected, time and financial savings are achieved.
Machine tool spindle quality assurance
Marek, Tomáš ; Prostredník, Daniel (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the problem of quality assurance of headstock in a cooperating company, which is one of the leading manufacturers of grinding machine tools. The aim was to analyse the current situation and to suggest possibilities for improving the quality of the spindle. The main contribution is the introduction of control charts for individual values and a capability index to monitor the stability of selected production processes. The thesis concludes by suggesting a number of further options for improving the quality management system in the collaborating company, which should be considered by the company.
SW for balancing rotary machines
Dúcky, Martin ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This thesis deals with balancing of rotary machines in one plane. It is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is deals with the basics of vibrostatics and operational balancing, with emphasis on the evaluation of machine vibration. The practical part deals with SW solution in Matlab environment. It explains the functionality of individual parts, their arrangement, connection and mutual continuity, and layout of the program. The programmed solution is tested on a series of measurements in which the balancing itself is evalated and compared with the classical method used in balancing rotary machines in one plane.
Statistical support of the company management process
Kubíček, Jan ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
Master’s thesis describes statistical process control as a support for company management. Statistical process control methods and tools are introduced. Requirements for automotive industry are stated specifically for IATF 16949 standard and VDA 6.3 process audit method. Thesis presents current state in company Sanmina-SCI Czech Republic s.r.o regarding statistical regulation. Applies statistical process controls into the new process considering automotive requirements. It is all happening together with a new business introduction of automotive customer.
Data processing from the online diagnostic system
Cirhanová, Iva ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with data processing from an online diagnostic system. The theoretical part of the work is divided into three chapters, the first deals with technical diagnostics as such, there are basic terminology and concepts associated with technical diagnostics, such as diagnostic methods, tools, models and signals. The second part is focused on diagnostic systems and their division. This chapter also provides some examples of online diagnostic monitoring systems from three different companies. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the description of the possibilities of data collection from diagnostic systems, ie. description of communication buses and protocols. The practical part of this work focuses on creating an application for data collection and visualization.
Quality assurance of pneumatic cylinders
Pabiška, Martin ; Maradová, Karla (referee) ; Jankových, Róbert (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with the requirements for the quality of ISO standard compliant pneumatic cylinders, which are machined and assembled by a local manufacturer. According to the philosophy of continuous improvement, this thesis describes the project to decrease the number of air leaks detected by automatic testing machines. The main benefits of the thesis are the improvement of the design of pneumatic cylinders and the improvement of their assembly procedure leading to a reduction in the number of air leaks from pneumatic cylinders on automatic test equipment. It also provides an overview and general procedure for selecting, analyzing, implementing measures and taking further opportunities to improve the quality management system of pneumatic cylinders in the company.
Determination of measurement uncertainty of the optical measuring machine using a laser interferometer
Fulová, Silvia ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
This final thesis is dealing with stating uncertainty of optical measuring device Micro-Vu Sol 311, which is located at Faculty of mechanical engineering in Brno. Overview of coordinate measuring machines (CMM for short) and analyzed present status of optical CMM is in summation. This part also includes basic metrology concepts and methodology of determination of uncertainty of measuring instrument. Content of following parts of thesis is detailed description of Micro-Vu SOL 311 machine and etalons that were used in determination of enhanced uncertainty of measurement such as gage blocks, laser interferometer and glass scale.
