Breeding of a leopard gecko in a kindergarden and it's utilization for awakening and intensifying children's interest in nature

This thesis is focused on the theme of the reciprocal action of animals and pre-school children. It introduces us to the breeding of leopard geckos in kindergartens (with its benefits and disadvantages). Based on case studies, it describes a leopard gecko's influence on preschool children's personalities in kindergarten. The main method of research involves observing individual children as well as a group of children in a one- room kindergarten, Lísteček. Kindergarten Lísteček enrolls children from 3 to 7 years of age, so the composition of children is heterogenic. The maximum capacity of the kindergarten is 28 children and it is part of a primary school. Individual situations and interactions between the children and the geckos wer recorded by videorecording, photogallery and questionare examinations between parents and children conducted by the kindergarten. The children exhibted a natural interest in the exotic animals and the school breeding was evaluated positively. The children's interest in new information was not limited to the school breeding program, they showed interest in the natural world as well. Environmental project and its use in a nusery school

The topic of my thesis is "Environmental project and its use in a nursery school." All work is divided into three parts. In the first, theoretic passage, there is the project described with its important parts. It is also focused on environmental education, its brief characteristic and integration into the general educational programme for preschool education. A professional literature has been the source for this part of my work. The second, practical section, is aimed at children's familiarization with nature. Using games, picture materials and especially watching created the kids' awareness of natural environment. I aimed all activities in such a way that they were in harmony with the age and individual possibilities of children. Last chapter is the research part. This section conducts a survey of fear of nature in the case of preschool children. The final evaluation has generated many interesting findings.
Zootherapy in pre-school education

This thesis is focused on the topic of interaction between animal and child in the pre-school age in zootherapy department. It considers the influence of selected invertebrate species (Achatina fulica and immaculata, marble crayfish, australian phasmatodea) on the personality of the child in pre-school age together in the kindergarten and in medical devices. Method of research is interested observation, pedagogical experiment, which is implemented by visiting programme. The thesis shows how necessary and important for pre-school age children is contact with animals, not only with the higher species.

Canistherapy in school for children with special needs : children with multiple disabilities THESIS ABSTRACT The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of canistherapy, its methodology and terminology, its phases of development and the current approach of this method. Outdoor and indoor time in pre-school education

This bachelor thesis is focused on the problem of children being detached from nature. Time spent at kindergarten is mostly indoors and time spent outside is limited to short walks. Understandably this is due in part to today's fast-paced life, crime and a higher demand for childrens' safety; especially in cities. The thesis is divided into two main parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part introduces literature that is pivotal for this subject. The empirical part talks about the process and execution of the project, details of the samples and the result of qualitative interviews between myself and kindergarten teachers. During the process of the interviews, I put together a program that I later actualized in an after-school club called "Sarynka". Graphomotor activities were part of this program as well. To achieve a proper comparison, these activities were done in a public kindergarten with the same number of kids who were of the same age.
Sounds of Nature or Econarratology through the Folk Songs

The topic of the thesis is econaratology in conjunction with folk songs, which is subject to the laws of nature and forms a sort of mind set of the of nature life. Singing songs is an integral part of the narrative approach, narrative is complemented by tones and melodies for better memorization. The theoretical part defines the terms: narration, econaratology and folk song. I am interested in what place there the narrative approach in environmental education takes and what are its benefits. I allude to the use of narrative and folk songs as a means of education in practice. The aim of the thesis is based on research findings to determine the extent to which children are able to follow recordings of sound recording recognize and identify vocalizations of domestic or wild animals and industrial sounds of outside world. The research findings are utilized qualitative research, supplemented in some parts of quantitative research. Research tools are the individual interviews over the audio material, which I apply in preschool children. Keywords: narration, econaratology, folk song, nature sounds, folk traditions, research.
Waste management of city Volyně

Předmětem této diplomové práce je odpadové hospodářství města Volyně, jeho analýza a následné zefektivnění. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se zabýváveme obecnými předpoklady odpadového hospodářství obce, tzn. obecnou charakteristikou komunálních odpadů, dopadem nakládání s komunálními odpady na životní prostředí, dále také legislativou spojenou s komunálními odpady a nakonec technicko-organizačními východisky. V části vlastní šetření pak, podle obecných předpokladů, usuzujeme na stav odpadového hospodářství ve městě Volyně. Na základě této analýzy navrhujeme opatření na zlepšení systému nakládání s komunálním odpadem ve městě Volyně. Práce slouží jako návod pro zastupitelstvo města Volyně na zlepšení hospodaření s komunálním odpadem. Jako příloha této práce slouží mapa města s rozmístěním jednotlivých kontejnerů, vyhláška 1/02, evidenční list, provozní řád sběrného dvora Volyně, seznam černých skládek, seznam sběrných nádob rozmístěných po Volyni a obrázky jednotlivých popisovaných sběrných nádob.
Transformation and the Utilization of the School Garden of the Elementary School Jílové u Prahy Since Establishment Until Today

Title Transformation and the Utilization of the School Garden of the Elementary School Jílové u Prahy Since Establishment Until Today. Annotation The goal of my thesis is to monitor the establishment and the development of our school garden. In the first, theoretical part of my thesis, I outlined the historical events and attempts that would lead to the establishment and the decline of school gardens in the Czech Republic. This is closely linked to the historical developments of the Czech educational tradition. This part of my thesis is backed up by the information found in specialised and professional literature. In the second part of my thesis, i.e. my research, I have focused on collecting the information about the process of building a new school in Jílové u Prahy and about the development and changes in the adjoining school area from the day it was opened until now. My research is based on documents found in the archive, class records and annual reports. I gained lots of valuable information from interviews with eyewitnesses. In my conclusion, I compare the development phases of the school area and outline my findings in terms of the function of the school garden for the teaching process at the ground school.
