Lego Technic encryption demonstrator
Jančík, Jakub ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is mostly about mechanical encryption. Primary task was to build demonstrator encryptor using only LEGO Technic building kit, which would allow polyalphabetical substitution encryption. The theoretical part includes information about origins of steganography, cryptography and cryptanalysis, it explains the process of the polyalphabetical substitution encryption and it will introduce Enigma – how it went on during development, on what principle it works and thanks to what it stopped being safe. Device was extended with LEGO MINDSTORMS which allowed to build the Enigma demonstrator.

Principles of effecitve report design
Jančík, Jakub ; Slánský, David (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
This thesis focuses on reporting and problems which are related to it. The main goal is to define the principles of effective report design and its usage and also define rules for choice of appropriate and useful content. This principles and rules are result of detailed analysis based on problems with reports. Contemporary theses are above all focused on technical and visual aspects of reporting. This thesis the contemporary field of view extends by aspect of content. It also focuses on mechanisms, which are important in reporting systems and setting of these mechanisms. The thesis consists of five related parts. The first two chapters define a theoretical basis, while first chapter is dedicated to principles of Business Intelligence and second chapter focuses on reports. Next chapter contains the analysis of problems with reports and defines their fundamental causes. Fourth chapter defines principles of effective report design and the last chapter confronts conclusions of author of this thesis with practice.
Desktop computers and notebooks - expandability and architecture
Jančík, Jakub ; Jandoš, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Čech, Milan (referee)
This bachelor thesis compares expansion possibilities and architecture of desktop PCs and notebooks. It analyses different types of computers for personal use, desktops and notebooks, it categorizes them and analyses contemporary available on the Czech market. The goal of this thesis is to analyze expansion possibilities and also analyze the issue of using notebooks as desktop replacements. In relation to notebooks expandability this thesis analyses docking stations and possibilities that arise from their using. The thesis consists of five major sections, where chapters about desktop PCs and notebooks contain theoretical knowledge which are basis to a comparison of desktops and notebooks. As a possible solution of expansion of notebooks should be considered possibility of docking this is analyzed in a separate section. Conclusions are verified by a survey which is aimed at contemporary using of computers and their expandability with focus on docking stations.
