Janíček, Milan ; Zahradníčková, Marie (advisor) ; Štenglová, Ivanka (referee)
The topic of this diploma thesis is the legal regulation of the Commercial Register in the Czech Republic. The thesis focuses on various problems connected with this legal sphere and with the role of the Commercial Register as a public document. The thesis consists of seven chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the Commercial Register's nature. At the beginning of the thesis there is the survey of the historical development of the Commercial Register and basic facts, documents and legal regulations (e. g. Code Savary 1673, Code de commerce 1807, AHGB 1863 etc.) that were very important and influencing factors for its present appearance (as it is known in the Commercial Code N. 513/1991 Coll.) are described there. Kolátor, Jan ; Janíček, Milan ; Mareček, Daniel ; Svoboda, Martin
Konference ELAG 2013 (http://elag2013.org/) se konala 27. - 31. 5. 2013 v Ghentu v Belgii. Pořádajícími institucemi byly Ghent University Library a Ghent University Faculty Library Arts & Philosophy.

“Do You Have It?”: Summon as a Primary Search Engine at the National Technical Library
Janíček, Milan
Today, libraries provide access to large numbers of resources, often beyond the boundaries of traditional library catalogues. These include many licensed and non-licensed electronic resources, local institutional documents in electronic format, outputs of digitization in addition to physical documents. Simply “granting access” is not enough for today’s (and tomorrow’s) users if they are not able to easily find the information they need. The National Technical Library is committed to providing easier access to resources for its users and is working to provide users with what they need–whenever and wherever they want–with the least amount of effort. The Library now is among the first Czech institutions which have added an aggregated index search engine (specifically, Summon web-scale discovery service from Serials Solutions) to its portfolio of services. This paper will describe the most important considerations in selecting such a solution as well as the Library's specific experience in implementing Summon.
