Attitudes of pupils and students to rugby

Title: Attitudes of pupils and students to rugby Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to find out the attitudes of pupils and students to rugby. Another objective is to make some recommendations to improve the recruitment of young players to rugby teams. Methods: Primary research by personally administered questionnaires was used to obtain the relevant information on attitudes of pupils and students to rugby. Results: Based on the research, the attitudes of pupils and students to rugby were discovered, specifically their interest in this sport, their willingness to try it and barriers to play it. The research showed on low knowledge of rugby of the people in the main target group and their viewing rugby in comparison to other sports. Management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic

Title: Management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic Objectives: The main objective of this thesis was to present recommendations for the management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic derived from its analysis on the basis of sequential management functions, such as planning, organizing, selecting and deploying staff, leading people and controlling. This analysis, which is a secondary objective and precedes the main objective, was performed by comparing the responses, attitudes and opinions of the respondents of the semi-structured interviews regarding the functioning of beach soccer management. Methods: Internal documents analysis, semi-structured interviews with a top beach soccer manager, Chief coach of the national teams and two players of beach soccer Results: The result of this thesis is a series of recommendations for the management of beach soccer in the Czech Republic based on its previous analysis. The author sees the most significant problem in the strategic goals, which are set quite unrealistically. A new strategic plan is proposed, in which the required number of members in 2028 is rapidly reduced, which also results in an analogous reduction in the required number of teams and leagues. Title: Perception of sexual harassment in the sports industry: case of Czech university students Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyse and describe the perception of sexual harassment in the environment of organized sport in the Czech Republic from the perspective of selected students attending Czech universities. At the same time, it also explains the importance of taking this problem into account, the solution of which should be addressed by the management of sports organisations. Methods: In order to achieve the results, mixed research is used in this thesis. Firstly, through the qualitative part, i.e. focus group, opinions on the topic of sexual harassment in the environment of organized sport are obtained, which are further used and elaborated on the quantitative method of questionnaire survey, to obtain the respondents experiences and opinions on the topic. Results: Selected students attending Czech universities frequently and repeatedly encounter sexual harassment in the environment of organized sport. The perpetrator is often a male athlete or coach and the victim a female athlete. The most common are verbal and non- verbal forms. Title: Attitudes of referees and football public towards VAR technology. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to find out how VAR works in the Czech Republic, how it is perceived and where it will go in the future, based on interviews and the opinion of the football public. Methods: The work will combine qualitative and quantitative methods. First, referees will be interviewed and an electronic questionnaire will be developed for the football public. The questionnaire will be used to determine the public's perception of VAR. Results: Based on the information gathered from the respondents, it was found that VAR technology is perceived quite positively, but still has many negatives and room for improvement. Student's attitudes to non-traditional sports

Title: Student's attitudes to non-traditional sports Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to determine the attitudes of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University towards selected non-traditional sports. A secondary task is to identify ideal information channels for non-traditional sports and to write recommendations on how to popularize non-traditional sports. Methods: An electronic survey was used to investigate students' attitudes towards non- traditional sports. The results were expressed statistically using absolute and relative frequency methods. The whole research included a pre-survey which was used to select several non-traditional sports which were discussed more in the thesis. Results: As a result of the survey, some differences were found between active practice of non-traditional sports and watching them. At the same time, it was found that some of the selected non-traditional sports do not use social networks effectively, which should be addressed by the representatives of these sports if they want to increase the popularity of their sports in the country. Burnout Syndrome in Professional Team Sports

Název: Burnout Syndrome in Professional Team Sports Cíle: The aim of this study is to assess a prevalence of burnout syndrome and engagement in team professional sports and explore relationships between burnout and engagement and social resources and demands produced by teammates, coaches, and global sport environment and other selected variables (motivation, perfectionism etc.). Metody: The research was carried out by means of an electronic survey. The questionnaire was constructed from 7 separate questionnaires, each focusing on one of the selected predictors of burnout and engagement. It was distributed to professional male and female players of volleyball (extra-league), hockey (Chance League and 2nd League) and handball (extra-league). A total of 102 professional athletes participated in the study. The obtained data were processed using descriptive statistics and correlation and regression analysis. Výsledky: The results provide an overview of the relationships between burnout and engagement and the selected predictors, which are types of motivation, effort goals, perfectionism, coach-created motivational climate, and team cohesion. Employment of former fighters on the labor market

Title: Employment of former fighters on the labor market Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to research the employment of former professional fighters instance disciplines onthe labor market and to create recommendations for their employment on the labor market after the end of their sports career. Methods: Primary data collection was needed to fulfill the main objective of the thesis. The research used a quantitative method, specifically a questionnaire survey. An electronic questionnaire, which was distributed among former professional fighters, then provided the obtained data necessary for the subsequent interpretation of the results. In addition, the obtainedresults were enrichedwith a qualitative method,inthe framework of which structured interviews were also conducted with former professional fighters. Results: Employees from the ranks of former fighters are a specific group of employees who often enter the labor market with insufficient experience. The obtained results show that ex-wrestlers are competitive on the labor market compared to other employees due to the distinctive and specific personality traits and competencies acquired within the sports career. Study on satisfaction of employees with XXX service

Title: Study on satisfaction of employees with XXX service Aims: The objective of this thesis is to verify the satisfaction of employees of an unnamed company with a program from XXX company. Based on the opinions and comments, a recommendation will be proposed as to whether this service should continue to be offered to the mentioned employees in its current content, in a modified form or not to be provided to them at all in the future. Methodology: Methodology: In this phesis, I applied quantitative research via collecting on- line forms and qualitative research based on a thorough interview. The form filled in by employees of the payroll departement was based on the SERVPERF method. In order to understand the activites of XXX company, the interview was held with a person from the company's close management. Results: The results of the employee survey are captured in a clear graphical form and along with the help of charts. The data analysis revealed that the employees are extremely satisfied with the programme from XXX. On the other hand, several shortcomings emerged which led later to recommendations for modification of the service and extension of the cooperation between the two entities. Title: Knowledge and attitudes of UK FTVS students to disc golf. Aim: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out what attitudes students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Charles University have to disc golf and what awareness they have of the sport. Methods: The electronic survey method was used in this work. Through surveying FTVS UK students, data about their awareness of disc golf and their attitudes towards this sport were collected. Results: The research found that most students have a basic knowledge of disc golf. More detailed knowledge of this sport is less common. Students' attitudes are most often positive or neutral.
