Apartment building

The task of this bachelor's thesis was to process the project documentation for the construction of an apartment building in the city of Brno. The apartment house is a free-standing, with three storeys and no basement. The building is covered with a flat roof. On the 1st floor there are 3 garage spaces, cellars and technical facilities of the building. There are a total of 4 housing units on the 2nd and 3rd floors. On the second and third floors, the structures recede and create terraces in two apartments. The other two apartments have their own balconies. Perimeter masonry is made of ceramic blocks with insulation. The ceiling structure is made of reinforced concrete. The bachelor thesis also contains an assessment of the building in terms of building physics and fire safety.
Energy-saving building of kindergarten Lískáček

The aim of my diploma project is to design a nearly-zero energy kindergarten. Building is located in Brno – Starý Lískovec. It´s a single-storey, detached building. It has 2 classes with bathrooms and locker rooms for 40 childrens . Other rooms are: headmaster´s office, kitchen, staff facilities and technical room. Load-bearing walls are made from masonry and non-load-bearing walls are from adobe blocks. Floor slab is made from reinforced concrete. There is a flat green roof with photovoltaic panels. The building is heated by heat pump and uses mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. As a third part of my project, I´m comparing three diferent heat sources. The criteria according to which the resources were assessed are the score from the energy performance of building certificate, the amount of emissions and the spatial complexity of the technologies.

Systém řízení tepelného hospodářství

The work deals with the design and implementation of control applications for programmable logic controllers. The subjects, that are to be controlled, are technological devices designed for heating several manufacturing buildings in the industrial park. The first part describes the installed thermal systems and their operating principles. Following section is about programmable logic controllers and their related topics. In the practical part, the control system is chosen based on the analysis, and control strategy for heating technologies is designed along with the communication topology. Created control and visualization applications are described in the implementation part.
