This thesis deals with comparison of the biggest cloud computing platforms, Amazon and Google, with high interest in services focused on smart home. It examines connection of services between each other and it summarises options of data transport between device and cloud using protocol MQTT. By integrating of cloud services dashboard is created, which allows to control devices in household.

This theses describes aspects of memory traces processing, its applications in simulation and development of modular memory subsystem simulator based on memory traces. The simulator also supports use for educational purposes thanks to built-in visualization which can be used to track address accesses in memory subsystem hierarchy.

Test Management Tool

The aim of this thesis is to specify, design and implement a test management tool that will work both on its own and on the Testos platform. The problem was solved by creating a client web application and implementing a web service using the REST API, which ensures interoperability with other tools. The created system allows to manage the basic testing process, which consists of project management, test requirements management, test library management and management of individual testing runs.

Docking Station for Automatic Charging of Batteries of Robot

The aim of this thesis is to create a functional docking and charging system for the Trilobot robot, which is improved and modified for use in future projects as a part of this thesis. The theoretical part discusses the path planning methods, battery types and charging methods, types of docking stations and the charging method itself. Also, a robot refurbishment design is presented, which is then implemented, along with the docking station. The refurbished robot has functional control software in the ROS framework, which allows it to perform not only the task of autonomous battery charging. In this thesis, a test of the whole system is also performed and the results are evaluated.

Tool for Software Systems Design

The Tool for software systems design is an application for visualization of application development. It's main goal is to achieve connection between developer and customer. It should be used to understand customer's needs, prepare work ow of project and behaviour of each class and method using objected oriented Petri nets. In this work we will look on other programs, that focus on similiar topic, we then pick some diagrams and describe how they were implemented. At the end we will disguss possible extension for this tool.

Graphical Editor for Design Models

The thesis is aimed at the solution of graphical editing for design models, especially Object-oriented Petri nets. There are many tools for editing Object-oriented Petri nets, but none of these support complete cooperation with simulation classes. This thesis offers created tool, which is implemented in the Pharo environment and uses the Morphic library. The created tool enables users to create or modify Object-oriented Petri net. Users can export created net to SVG or PNG format. The tool also enables the saving and loading of Object-oriented Petri net. The tool provides syntax check to the user.

Model Based Design of the Conference System

This thesis deals with the topic of model-based design and application of simulation in system design. In the introduction, the thesis discusses the history of software development process and outlines the current status. The aim is to demonstrate a model-driven design on a case study of conference system. There will be presented formalisms of DEVS and OOPN together with experimental tools PNtalk and SmallDEVS that allow to work with these formalisms. The resulting model of conference system will be deployed as part of a web application using a framework Seaside in the Squeak environment.

Sport Assistant for iOS

The aim of this thesis was to create a mobile phone application for iOS, that would be used for recording all sport activities of a person. The application can record activity using GPS or count the exercise manually, automatically at time intervals or by motion sensor. For recognition of moves while using motion sensor was developed a library called Motion Recognizer. The application uses HealthKit framework. The application also offers an opportunity of planning a sport activity by using Trainer objects. It uses Core Data framework while working with data and it backs up the data on iCloud.
