Pavliňák, Lukáš ; Janoušek, Petr (referee) ; Širáňová, Lenka (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is focused on the use of project management methods in the development of an application for a company. The first part deals with the theoretical concepts and methods that are used in the design part. The analytical part describes the current state of the company AUTOCONT a.s., where the project is implemented, and the way projects are managed there. It also describes the project itself, for which the design part of the thesis refers to the use of project management tools to develop an application for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central enterprise information system.
The Use of Metohods of the Project Management in IT Projects
Balogová, Veronika ; Ing.Petr Janoušek (referee) ; Širáňová, Lenka (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis focuses on the application of acquired knowledge, tools, and methods of project management in the implementation of an ERP system project for a client. The theoretical part of the thesis concentrates on the basic concepts related to the topic and is subsequently utilized in the other parts of the work. The analytical part examines the current state of the company AUTOCONT and its approach to project management. Enrichment and reprocessing of nuclear fuel
Janoušek, Petr ; Elbl, Patrik (referee) ; Sitek, Tomáš (advisor)
Nuclear fuel is one form of electricity generation. This bachelor thesis deals with its modification and processing as this fuel has to undergo special processes to ensure its good usability. The aim of the thesis is to list and analyze the main processes involved in the production of nuclear fuel. The thesis is, in particular, focused on the enrichment of nuclear fuel, which is the process of enhancing its properties. The first and second chapter of the paper discusses basic issues of first nuclear energy and then nuclear fuel. The third chapter of the thesis explains in detail the enrichment of nuclear fuel and also describes different methods of enrichment. Another process taking place after nuclear fuel is used is it's reprocessing. This method of converting used fuel into fuel that can be reused is dealt with in the last chapter of the thesis.
Analysis of stresses in left ventricular wall during isovolumic contraction
Janoušek, Petr ; Burša, Jiří (referee) ; Vaverka, Jiří (advisor)
The objective of this work is the analysis of stresses in the left heart ventricle during the isovolumic-contraction phase, in which blood is compressed without changing its volume in the ventricle. In this work, the left ventricle is modeled using a simplified axisymmetric sphere in order to be able to (1) perform an analytical solution from the relations given in the literature corresponding to the theory of linear elasticity, and (2) compare this solution with the model calculated by the finite element method. The model itself is a thick-wall sphere, which is affected by an internal overpressure arised as a reaction from the compressed blood. In order to achieve a constant internal volume, an active strain which acts against the internal pressure is also considered.
Czechoslovak Immigrants in France, 1918-1940. The Mother Land's Attitude to the Expatriates.
Preradová, Jarmila ; Horčička, Václav (advisor) ; Janoušek, Petr (referee)
The topic of this diploma thesis is the analysis of attention paid and care given by Czechoslovakia to its compatriots in France during the time period between World Wars 1 and 2. First four chapters are dedicated to the background of later research into the subject. These chapters gradually outline the situation concerning Czech and Slovak emigrants in France, the structure and development of Czechoslovak compatriot associations in France, summary of Czechoslovak government institutions as well as private organizations providing care for Czechoslovak compatriots abroad, followed by an outline of emigrant congresses where the migrants presented their needs and the associated effort to raise awareness about the lives of emigrants in their homeland. Principal merit of this thesis is in its actual research into the attitude of Czechoslovakia towards its compatriots from social, cultural and religious viewpoints, partially even from the economic standpoint but this sector is mostly interwoven into other chapters. The present author reached the conclusion that despite a substantial number of organizations engaged in this matter, care for compatriots provided by Czechoslovakia was inadequate in its entirety, both in the sphere of financial, material or spiritual support and in terms of relatively weak...
The development of new dilational stents for resolving chronic benign stenosis and strictures of the respiratory airways and esophagus in children
Janoušek, Petr ; Kabelka, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Betka, Jan (referee) ; Šlapák, Ivo (referee) ; Přádný, Martin (referee)
Stenosis of the larynx and trachea accounts for a small but adverse spectrum of diagnoses in patients treated in ENT and Head and Neck Surgical departments. In treating chronic stenosis and strictures, an unequivocal, generally -accepted approach has not been established. The predominant method of treatment is surgical. Other methods applied include endoscopic (laservaporation, aryteooidectomy) and extemal (expansive, resection) procedures. 10 the pediatric population, the desired method is one which has a minimal1y harmful impact to the growing child. For these reasons, indications to exteosive surgical treatments are limited. Dilatation of stenosis and stricture, and temporary maintaining of lumen patency using stents individual1y measured "to size" seem to afford greater advantages for use in the pediatric population. In cooperation with the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry (Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic), we have worked on the development of stents suitable for clinical use that exhibit a combination of useful properties (rigidity, absorbability, biocompatibility, microbial inactivity). The steots were developed by polymerisatioo of 2 hydroxyethy1methacrylate onto a template made from polyethylenenterphtalate type silk (Dacron). The Poly-HEMA material is registered by the national Drug...

Can obesity be a natural consequence of human evolution? Comparison of hypotheses about the evolutionary causes of obesity.
Janoušek, Petr ; Brůžek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Sedlak, Petr (referee)
The bachelor thesis "Can obesity be a natural consequence of human evolution?" with the subtitle "Comparison of hypotheses about the evolutionary causes of obesity. " Is a thesis that deals with a hypothetical analysis which attempts to explain the high prevalence of obesity in terms of an evolutionary relationship between environmental factors and the environment, including an emphasis on retrospective disciplines and current knowledge of biomedicine. The main focus of the thesis is to evaluate the hypotheses' arguments, to compare them and to establish the grounds for the author`s opinion on these theories. The presentation focuses on a hypothesis that explains obesity as an adaptation of metabolic energy conservation, such as behavioral adaptation, while briefly analyzing the theory of the non-adaptive origin of obesity. In conclusion, the thesis presents the most probable hypothesis for the causes of evolution, which could be the answer to the final question of this work: Can obesity be a natural consequence of evolution? The key question of this bachelor thesis cannot be answered definitely, because it is almost impossible to solve this problem with a single hypothesis that would explain the whole development of obesity. The objective is thus determined by selecting and comparing the most...
