Coulomb Interactions in Electron Beams
Jánský, Pavel ; Janík,, Ján (referee) ; Kolařík,, Robert (referee) ; Lencová, Bohumila (advisor)
The thesis deals with numerical simulations of a hairpin thermionic electron gun, an electron source of the electron-beam welding machine. Simulations showed that the space charge in the electron gun has a significant influence on the beam current and electron trajectories. Simulation outputs are in a sufficient agreement with the experimental measurements.
Characterization of Automotive High-Strength Steels Using an Electron Microscope
Báborský, Tomáš ; Jánský, Pavel (referee) ; Mikmeková, Šárka (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the determination of the structure of AHSS steels and offers solutions in the form of new observation methods with the aid of a scanning electron microscope using filtration of slow secondary electrons. The thesis describes electron filtration in order to display secondary electrons in a certain energy range which carry a surface information that is not normally visible. The advantages and benefits of such observation are clearly demonstrated.
Study of metals by low voltage SEM
Ligas, Aleš ; Jánský, Pavel (referee) ; Mikmeková, Šárka (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to demonstrate the advantages of the scanning low energy electron microscopy (SLEEM) in the field of materials science. The SLEEM can be very effectively used for investigation of wide range of materials, such as steels, alloys, ceramics and thin films. Experimental part of this work was performed on the scanning electron microscope TESCAN VEGA TS 5310 equipped with cathode lens mode at Institute of Scientific Instruments of the ASCR, v.v.i..
Impact of Admitting Department on the Management of Acute Coronary Syndrome after an Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest
Jánský, Pavel ; Moťovská, Zuzana (advisor) ; Hutyra, Martin (referee) ; Ošťádal, Petr (referee)
Aim. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the hospital admitting department on adherence to the Guidelines of European Society of Cardiology for management of acute coronary syndromes in patients after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) of coronary etiology. Methods: We studied 102 consecutive patients with OHCA as a manifestation of acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Patients were admitted to the coronary care unit (CCU) 52, general intensive care unit (GICU) 21, or GICU after initial Cath lab treatment (CAG-GICU) 29. This study compared the differences in the management of ACS in patients with OHCA of coronary etiology based on the admitting department in a tertiary care institution. Results: Twelve of the 21 (57.1%) patients admitted to the GICU were evaluated as having ACS on- site where they experienced OHCA. In the CCU group, 50 out of 52 (96.2%) and 28 of 29 (100%) patients in the CAG-GICU group (p<0.001). Coronary angiography was performed in 10 of 21 patients (48%) admitted to the GICU. It was performed in 49 out of 52 (94%) CCU patients and, in the CAG-GICU group, 28 out of 29 patients. The mean time to CAG differed significantly across groups (that is, GICU 200.7 min., CCU 71.2 min., and CAG-GICU 7.5 min. (p<0.001)). Aspirin was used in 48% of GICU, 96% of CCU, and 79% of CAG-GICU...

Security of persons with disabilities in the Czech Republic and EU
Janský, Pavel ; Zemanová, Jana (advisor) ; Morávek, Jakub (referee)
in english: Security of persons with disabilities in the Czech Republic and EU The persons with disabilities constitute a significant minority within Czech Republic as well as on a world-wide scale. The aim of this study is to present a comprehensive overview of security of persons with disabilities and is thus not only about the appropriate allowances. It starts with defining the concept of disability. There is also an analysis of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities there. The invalidity pensions are the most important allowance for persons with disabilities within the Czech security system. Then there are also other allowances which can be granted to persons with disabilities within the Czech social security system such as mobility allowance ("příspěvek na mobilitu") as well as allowance for the special aid ("příspěvek na zvláštní pomůcku"). Within the third chapter there is also being mentioned the card for persons with disabilities as significant benefit for these persons. The above mentioned card should be distinguished from the so called card of social systems as the failed project of czech institutions. The last of the allowances for the persons with disabilities in the Czech Repulic is the care allowance ("příspěvek na péči"). Very important legal institution within...
Disablement pensions
Janský, Pavel ; Zemanová, Jana (advisor) ; Vysokajová, Margerita (referee)
Disablement pensions (Invalidity benefits) - Resumé As I am interested in the situation of disabled people and the ability of the community to take care properly of these needy people I decided to write a thesis on the subject of disablement pensions (or invalidity benefits). The aim of this thesis was to give a reader an overview of how different countries regulate the conditions under which invalidity benefits are provided. At the same time I would like to describe in detail and evaluate above named national legislations in the same structure, if possible. The first chapter deals with historical aspects. After the origins of social security are mentioned, I already focus on the historical development of invalidity benefits' legislation in european and czech context. The next chapter is an analysis of invalidity benefits at the international level. Especially the achievements of the International Labour Organization, the Council of Europe and the European Union in the field of disablement pensions are highlighted. It is completed by a brief description of bilateral agreements on social security. The third chapter, which is the largest one included in this thesis, examines the czech legislation regarding the invalidity benefits. First of all the issue of the pension insurance in general is outlined. The...
Problem Child and Substitutional Child Care in School Facilities Providing Institutional and Protective Care
Janský, Pavel ; Hadj - Moussová, Zuzana (advisor) ; Lašek, Jan (referee) ; Faber, Josef (referee)
Author of this work gives an overall look at the field of care for children with special interest in those children who have bad social behaviour; his view represents one of many possible and existing views in this field. Reflecting varied theoretical outcomes and practical experience the work presents a complex picture of methods of care for children who are "problematic" and are temporarily placed in special schools, alternative educational institutions and similar facilities. The work proceeds from wide general knowledge and interdisciplinary relations between psychology and pedagogy to more specific and practical impact of such relations and knowledge and concrete examples of their possible usage in real life. The main goal of the work is to approach the subject of children who are difficult to educate and present this topic in really wide, complex way highlighting the key role of preventive measures that represent the whole bunch of related methods, procedures and actions preventing development of such educational problems in children. The author of the work considers very important to respect natural development of each child and its individual needs during the whole educational process and at the same time considers important to support these aspects with social relations and relationships of high...
