Web Application for Information Dashboard Design
Pastushenko, Olena ; Ismael, Mazen (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
Processing of Bills for the National Lottery
Hučko, Andrej ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is dealing with creation of a mobile application for automatic bill processsing for the national bill lottery in Czech republic. For attending in the lottery game, official web interface and mobile application is provided. This official mobile app contains drawbacks, which are analyzed in this thesis. This application is developed on Android platform and uses automatic optical character recognition technology (OCR). The main aim of the application is to allow the user easy bill registration for the national lottery by the use of smartphone camera. It eliminates drawbacks of the official app and third party apps with similar purpose.
Motivational Cross Platform Mobile Application for e-Health
Pohner, Pavel ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Pastushenko, Olena (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on design and implementation of cross-platform application, which will support and extend user's physical activities and capabilities with usage of gamification. In the beginning of this work some of the existing applications were analyzed. Subsequently analysis of gamifiaction elements and tools for implementing cross-platform applications and user interfaces was performed. Based on acquired informations the application was designed. The result of this thesis is cross-platform application running on platforms Android, iOS and web, which is implemented in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with usage of Cordova framework for deploying application on target platform and Ionic framework for application's native appearance. The application with usage of gamifiaction elements motivates user to fulfill given physical tasks and trainings, which should result in improved physical abilities and better physical condition.
Design and Evaluation of User Interface for Canteen Information System
Štrbák, Tomáš ; Rudnitckaia, Julia (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this publication is to describe process and methods of user interface design in~theory and show application of methods in user interface design and evalutation of system Spokojená Jídelna. Publication describes one of many possible approaches to user interface design, but not the only one.
Software Pipelining in the LLVM Compiler
Glasnák, Ondrej ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This thesis discusses a design and implementation of the Software Pipelining, a optimization technique of loops in a program, which tries to exploit instruction-level parallelism. It is achieved by scheduling instructions in a way to overlap iterations of the loop and therefore execute them in a pipeline. This way optimization speeds up the final program. There is a detailed description of design and implementation of Swing Modulo Scheduling algorithm, an effective and efficient method for finding near-optimal plans for software-pipelined loops. This work has been done as a part of a larger project, the development of Codasip Framework. Part of this framework is the retargetable C compiler based on compiler architecture LLVM, in which this work is implemented.
Web Application for Defining Graphical Objects on a Map
Tlčina, Andrej ; Škarvada, Libor (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor thesis is to create an authoring system that will help users to create thematic maps with custom geographical objects and custom generic datasets. This bachelor thesis presents an authoring system that provides tools for creating simple and complex geographical objects. The system allows users to import their datasets, containing generic data, like data about sales, wages, population. The data, contained in mentioned datasets, can be mapped to created geographical object using an identifier. The bachelor thesis is an extension of the project Geovisto, which uses predefined geographical objects for data visualization. The extension will bring the possibility of creating custom graphical features or editing predefined ones, which can be used in other parts of the project.
Interactive Form for Tax Returns
Hél, David ; Hrivňák, Ján (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and development of a interactive forms for tax returns in the Czech Republic which are easy to fill in for every taxpayer. For tax returns, official web application is provided. This official app contains imperfections, which are analysed in this thesis. The main goal of this project is to develop simple yes/no forms which will guide users through the whole tax return. Based on user's answers, application generates form, which can be submitted at revenue authority. At the current stage, the application successfully generates the Personal Income Tax form. In the next phase, we expect the involving forms for other types of taxes.
Mobile Application for Tracking and Sharing Cyclists Location on Map
Schléger, Richard ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with analysis, design and implementation of mobile application and application for smartwatches for tracking and sharing location of athletes, especially cyclists. Main goal of this application is to increase level of safety of athletes during the activity. This task is accomplished by location sharing and also by automatic fall detection and following notification. Final application is intended for mobile operating system Android and iOS a also for smartwatches with Wear OS. Theoretical part is dealing with analysis of actual trends in cycling, mobile applications and smartwatch applications development. Implementation part consists of design of application, implementation itself and testing.
Unconventional Dating Mobile Application
Demel, Jan ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a new dating app that corrects the shortcomings of existing solutions. It turned out that the main shortcomings are impersonal dating and judging based on appearance. These are corrected by using the psychological model called MBTI and limiting the amount of time that users can chat. The thesis gradually discusses the issue of current applications, the design of solutions for partial problems and lastly the description of the implementation itself. The implementation consists of a cross-platform mobile application and an API. The cross-platform application itself was implemented as a mobile native app using React Native. The API was implemented as a REST API. The app uses Firebase services for data storage, sending notifications and user authentication. The localization API of the device is used to search for suitable connections in the vicinity.
Performance Benchmark for Smart TV Platforms, Set-Top Boxes and Game Consoles
