The draft of family house with focus on the ecological water management
Stupavská, Jaroslava ; Hyánková, Eva (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of my work is an optimal design of a detached house focused on ecological management of rainwater and household waste water. The work is divided into four parts: the first part deals with the design of the family house, the second part describes water as a medium used in households, in the third part I am dealing with packed home waste water treatment plants, and in the last, the four part, I approach the issue of root waste water treatment plants. My priority is the design of the family house with a water – saving solution. For the designed family house in Velká nad Veličkou, sewage treatment is provided by a vertical root waste water treatment plant, accumulation in the pond together with the filtered rainwater and their reuse in the facility as service water and in the garden irrigation. In the practical part of water management is the design of a sludge management facility. As the grassland is located around the house, a suitable irrigation solution is the location of the sprayers. Thanks to this type of solution, it is possible to save considerable money in management of drinking water and also to improve the microclimate site where the designed family house was built. In my work I wanted emphasise each household is able to efficiently and economically handle rainwater and waste water that can have a great impact on the water cycle in nature.
Hydromorphological monitoring and partial restoration of Leskava stream

This work is focused on hydroecological monitoring of a selected watercourse in connection with the requirements of the Water Framework Directive. The methodology of type-specific evaluation of hydromorphological indicators of ecological quality approved by the Ministry of the Environment has been used. The result of this work is the implementation of the mapping of a particular watercourse and the subsequent possibility of improving its hydromorphological condition with revitalization measures.
The floating islands technology for wastewater treatment
Kohut, Rafael ; Hyánková, Eva (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
Importance of proper water treatment is well described in the European Water Charter. However, considering incessant population growth and role of water as a key raw material in all industries and agriculture, we can say that its availability and quality is endangered. To improve the quality of water and water ecosystems, the strategy of renewal of wetlends is being presented as relevant. Except for natural wetlands there is also a variety of artificial ones, which are trying to simulate because of their treatment conditions. This is one of the main reasons why application of floating wetlands raises a great interest nowadays. In at least seventeen countries all around the world the surveys were conducted to define efficiency of this method for purifying of waters. Despite these efforts, the assesment of the reliable evaluations still remains a large research gap. The purpose of this thesis is to present and describe results of a month´s measurements of efficiency of usage of floating wetlands for refinig of wastewater stabilization pond of root zone wastewater treatment plant in the climatic conditions of the Czech Republic.
Treated Waste Water Irrigation
Kohut, Rafael ; Hyánková, Eva (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of simulation of treated wastewater irrigation by the HYDRUS 2D software. The first part of the thesis is designed as a theoretical research of academic information and knowledge. It aims at introducing the issue of treated wastewater utilization for the purpose of the irrigation. Furthermore it provides basic theoretical information on numeric simulation of the dissolved materials motion and transport in the soil. The last chapter of the theoretical part describes the calibration of the simulation by the HYDRUS 2D software. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the formation of filtration columns placed in the chosen site of the root zone wastewater plant. Within the filtration columns the automatic irrigation was formed and set off. Measuring of humidity in filtration columns was taking place for 81 days as well as the water sampling after the flow through the soil horizons. On the grounds of the measuring results the calibration of numeric simulation was carried out by the HYDRUS 2D software. The last part of the thesis presents the applications through the extending and alternation of the modelled setting. The main aim of the thesis is to calibrate the model and propose a general solution to advancement at realization of irrigation details when using the treated wastewater for the purpose of irrigation.
Study of vineyards irrigation system near near the Chorvátsky Grob village
Jarová, Nicole ; Kameníčková, Ivana (referee) ; Hyánková, Eva (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis concerns the design of a drip irrigation in the selected location of the vineyard in the village of Chorvátsky Grob. The study focuses on the importance and partition of the irrigation in the chosen location. In the first part of the bachelor thesis, there is a description of the irrigation systems history, the irrigation division, the division of irrigation systems and types of droppers. Subsequently, the description of the micro-irrigation is included. In that I describe the characteristics of a drip irrigation and I evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the drip irrigation. I describe the types of droppers with the technical conditions and components needed to build the drip irrigation. All factors affecting the irrigation uniformity and factors affecting irrigation water quality are described. Then I present the method of water treatment used in the drip irrigation and the method of the water transport to the irrigated land. In the next chapter, I describe the division of vine types, the composition and the material composition of grapes. At the end I propose the drip irrigation technology in a particular area (the agricultural cooperative farm, vineyard Chorvátsky Grob). All the land-specific data have been processed and the calculation of the water demand for the drip irrigation for this location has been proposed, especially for critical months. Based on data and calculations, I propose to ensure the irrigation for individual sectors. The necessary water intake and minimum operating pressure in the individual sections have been considered. Map data have been processed in the AutoCad programme.
