Evaluation of Efficiency and Risk of Investment Project

This bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the efficiency and risks of an investment project in the field of transport infrastructure. The aim of this work is to evaluate a bicycle lane. The first part of the thesis is the theoretical and describes the stages of evaluation in detail. What follows is a part, which interconnects the theoretical part with a case study. The final part of this work comprises the case study, which includes a description of the evaluated project, economic analysis, and risk assessment. The evaluated project was ii/444 Šternberk-průtah-I.stavba, and for the purpose of the case study only the bicycle trail was assessed. The economic output is based on the outputs of the online system eCBA.

Analysis of the impacts of brownfield revitalization from an investor's point of view

The diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the impacts of the revitalization of Nová Zbrojovka brownfield from the investor's perspective. The theoretical part describes the concepts of investment, project evaluation including life cycle levels. This is followed by a description of economic efficiency and their indicators, namely net present value and internal rate of return. The next chapter deals with project financing, cash flows and risks. The theoretical section also includes an explanation of the concept of developer and brownfield projects. The practical part of the thesis describes Nová Zbrojovka brownfield development project, cash flows and economic efficiency of the project, as well as evaluation of investments beyond the economic interest of the investor.

Civic Iniciatives and Activities in the Seventies and Eighties of the Past Century in the Territory of Todays Moravian-Silesian Region

This master's thesis focuses on studying and analysing the opposition activities of the civic society in Czechoslovakia during the Normalization period (1970's - 1989), with a special emphasis on the Moravian-Silesian region. The first part of the thesis outlines the historical events and the situation of the opposition in Czechoslovakia in general, focusing particularly on Charter 77. The second part of the thesis gives an overview of the opposition civic iniciatives in the Moravian-Silesian region through interviews with the former participants as well as the analysis of the contemporary documents, and thus provides a complex picture of the opposition in this mostly industrial region.

Entrance of entrepreneur on foreign market

The theme of the thesis is the entrance of entrepreneur on foreign market, specifically to the Czech Republic and France. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the legal conditions and the possibility of enterance the entrepreneur as a foreign person into the Czech and French market. The first chapter describes the development of mutual trade between the Czech Republic and France. The second chapter is devoted to the characteristics of systems and legal business conditions in those countries. The most important chapter is the third chapter, which describes the various forms of entrepreneurship of foreign persons in the Czech Republic and France.
