Společenstva rozsivek oligo - mesotrofních rybníků Novohradských hor
HRUBÝ, František
This thesis focuses on diatoms of little studied water reservoirs of the Novohradské hory area. During the 2019, three seasonal samples were collected. At all five sampling sites various environmental parameters were measured. A total of 321 taxa were identified, a large proportion of which are classified as boreo-alpine, rare or indicative of very good water quality. The available data were used to calculate diatom indices and to determine the saprobity and trophy of the Novohradské hory reservoirs. The similarity of the communities of each sampling type was compared and discussed using the statistical program Canoco.
Noise behaviour of field emission cathode based on lead pencil graphite
Knápek, Alexandr ; Horáček, Miroslav ; Hrubý, František ; Šikula, J. ; Kuparowitz, T. ; Sobola, D.
The paper describes electrical noise of experimental field emission cathodes based on “polymer” pencil leads which have a high content of hybridized carbon with a low degree of surface oxidation and silicon monoxide (SiO). Charge transport within experimental samples is evaluated based on results provided by the noise spectroscopy method. The paper also briefly describes the experimental preparation method of graphite tips based on ion milling which allow obtaining ultrasharp tips of a diameter lower than 100 nm.
Floristicko-ekologický průzkum rozsivek Úslavy
HRUBÝ, František
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of diatom based indices. The thesis describes the principles of 25 indices using diatoms to assess water quality. Seventeen of these indices were used to evaluate my own data originating from ten sampling points in the lower stream of the river Úslava. Periphyton communities of diatoms were collected in the autumn of 2015 and in the spring and summer of 2016. The diatom samples were used to create permanent slides, in which 400 valves were determined and counted. Using the Omnidia program, the indices were calculated for each sample. According to my results and information from literature appropriate and inappropriate indices for future use were chosen.
