Design and implementation of network collector
Bošeľa, Jaroslav ; Horváth, Tomáš (referee) ; Oujezský, Václav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with description of information protocol of network flow, mainly definition of Cisco NetFlow version 9. Describes it’s features, message format and attributes of transmitted data. The thesis is primarly focused onto NetFlow v9 transmitted template, which defines fileds and data in consecutive data flow. The essence of the thesis consists in implementation of simple NetFlow v9 parser, which has been programmed in Python prog.language, it’s tests of captured UDP data from file and port capture testing on development server in lab. There is a possibility of saving captured and parsed data into prepared database within implementation as output from capturing.
Software defined optical network
Kloda, Tomáš ; Horváth, Tomáš (referee) ; Kočí, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis is focused on explanation of software defined networking and communication via OpenFlow protocol with description of transmitted messages. This thesis deals with software defined optical networking, which describes combinations of OpenFlow with other technologies and methods to control the optical path. In another part, the thesis is focused on the description of the physical layer of optical backbone networks, where there is a description of multiplexers, DWDM technology and optical elements. This thesis also includes designs of software defined optical network with implementation of extended header for transmission in the optical domain. Outcome of this thesis are simulations, which include synchronization between the elements during initialization of software defined optical network with occurence of delay. At the end, the thesis is focused on simulations of the actual data transfer within the proposed software defined optical network.
Seismic activity measurement using fiber optic sensors
Vaněk, Stanislav ; Horváth, Tomáš (referee) ; Vojtěch, Josef (advisor)
The aim of master's thesis is to get familiarized with the problems of measurement and analysis of seismic waves. Theoretical part deals with the description of seismic waves, especially their types, sources and properties. Attention was afterwards focused on the measurement systems of these waves, emphasis was placed on their principles and advantages. The practical part discusses methods of noise reduction and highlighting of significant events in measured data. At the end, individual methods are implemented into user-friendly graphical interface.
Connection simulation between master and end unit in passive optical networks
Moravcová, Klára ; Kočí, Lukáš (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor’s thesis is to introduce and explain the standards of passive optical networks, their way of establishing connection between master unit and end unit in a network, as well as creating a working simulation in Matlab. The first chapter of this thesis covers the description of optical networks. In the chapter, individual layers of the GPON standard by ITU-T and the EPON standard by IEEE are described. The process of an ONU unit activation towards the OLT unit of these standards is covered in detail. The thesis describes the following standards: EPON, GPON, 10G-EPON, XGPON and NG-PON2. The practical part covers the simulations of the mentioned standards, which are displayed in the form of graphs. The results are interpreted through comparison of the graphs with various input parameters (number of connected ONU units and the length of the distribution network) with a final evaluation of these results.
Simultaneous transmission of photonic services in fibre optics
Látal, Michal ; Horváth, Tomáš (referee) ; Münster, Petr (advisor)
Diploma thesis focuses on simultaneous transmission of selected photonic services by one single-mode optical fiber. The thesis deals with the problem of common transmission of multiple photonic services by one optical fiber using the wavelength division multiplex technology. Furthermore, the origin and influence of nonlinear phenomena accompanying the simultaneous transmission of photonic services are described. Except common data transmission with a bitrate of 10 Gbit/s, a common high-speed data signal transmission with a bitrate of 200 Gbit/s, accurate time transmission and high-power sensor signal are considered. During the aimultaneous transmission of selected photonic services, the measurement of the transmission parameters was performed for various variants of the simultaneous transmission arrangement. In particular, the influence of nonlinear phenomena and possible mutual interference of individual transmission channels at 50 and 100 GHz between signals was analyzed.
Photonic Services Testbed
Kubica, Matěj ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on the theoretical analysis of optical cables and it‘s fusion splicing and distribution. This thesis deals with basic difference between different types of optical fibers. Importance is put on singlemode fibers and it‘s standardization. Following by analysis of different techniques of uniting optical fibers and distribution of cables inside buildings. In the practical part the realization of individual joints with measured values is described. Next part describes connection of individual fibers into optical bath. This connection is completely documented and certain services are realized on selected fibers
Self propelling articulated boom
Horváth, Tomáš ; Pokorný, Prokop (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains the division of working platforms, analysis of structural elements of articulated work platforms, critical research of current design solutions of these platforms, design of a working basket with a load capacity of 350 kg, functional and strength calculations of load bearing structure, design of a linear hydraulic motor and drawing documentation.
Optical switching and traffic grooming
Foldyna, Petr ; Havliš, Ondřej (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about problematics of optimalization wavelenght usage in optical networks. First part theoreticaly explains optical networks and problems when using them, switching in optical networks and traffic grooming. In second part mathematical equations of given problems are realized and also simulations using GLPK are realized. From results of simulation resolutions are given and usage of methods in real networks is explained.
Optical access network management
Bartko, Samuel ; Ružička, Michal (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is concerned about optical access network in theoretical part, where it describes working principle of optical network. The main concern is put on passive optical networks, where it describes XGS-PON standard. In practical parts describes connection and making functional network with XGS-PON. In the last part there is a manual for laboratory task, which has a goal of making students understand the issue of activating end point unit in XGS-PON network.
NG-PON2 standard implementation in OPNET Modeler
Cymorek, Patrik ; Jurčík, Michal (referee) ; Horváth, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to apprise ourselves with communication in NG-PON2 standard. The first chapter describes optical networks. The second chapter deals with description of NG-PON2 standard and detailed description of downstream and upstream frame. Methods of grant allocation are described at the end of the theoretical section of this paper. Own entities were created in the practical part of this paper and they were used to simulate static and dynamic grant allocation. Designed entities and simulation results were compared with the real network behaviour at the end of the practical part. Designed entities were also used to design a lab exercise in the attachment.
