Primary school teacher in an excluded location
Solovovová, Petra ; Krčmářová, Tereza (advisor) ; Horská, Petra (referee)
The work of teacher in excluded localities with Romany pupils is demanding, it requires a high degree of resilience, adaptability, perseverance and resilience. Children growing up in an environment of social exclusion have acquired values, habits and behavior patterns that make it more difficult for them to integrate into the school environment. A teacher from an excluded location should understand the acting and behavior of Romany pupils and help these pupils to successfully master the educational process. The aim of my work is to find out the specifics of the teacher's work in the excluded locality. The qualitatively oriented research is focused on the problems, that teachers face from Roman pupils in their education in excluded localities, their opinions on the education of Romany pupils and on their motivation to educate these pupils in an excluded location. Data are obtained using semi-structured interviews with teachers from excluded localities. The conclusion of my work is a discussion of the research results, where the information from the professional literature is compared with my personal experience and the respondents' testimonies. The research related to the lesson planning, teaching methods and types of planning for the lesson is analysed and a special attention is given to the usage of various recourses e.g. encyclopaedias and educational software used for lesson planning. One chapter deals with the theory of textbooks and with the research related to their evaluation. The last chapter of the theoretical part is focused on the concept of lesson planning in the Czech Republic and the potential of textbooks usage for teaching of given subject. Žáčková, Martina ; Hejlová, Helena (advisor) ; Horská, Petra (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the development of the school climate in a classroom with a seriously physically disabled child who requires permanent presence of an assistant. The theoretical part focuses on physical disabilities and their impact on the psyche of the child, the specifics of including a seriously disabled child in educational instructional contexts and the life of the classroom, and on the cooperation between a form teacher and an assistant whose support and help is required by the child during all lessons. The practical part uses a narrative of two girls and people who are closely related to them to offer answers to the inquiries into how have relationships within such a classroom and the attitude of classmates to a disabled child changed over the years; how can the presence of an assistant affect the climate of the classroom; and whether the external perception of the inclusion of a disabled child as a successful one corresponds with the feelings of the disabled child, of if the child sees the process otherwise. Case studies which helped the author to get a general picture of the situation confirmed it appeared that the factor which immensely affects inclusion of a physically disabled child in the classroom is the age at which children meet and the attitude of the teacher and the...

Horská, Petra ; Mazáčová, Nataša (advisor) ; Havlůjová, Hana (referee) ; Šobáňová, Petra (referee)
This work presents a complex analysis of the methodological teaching goals with regard to the museum education, in the context of cooperation between schools and museums from the humanistic concept of education perspective. The subject of the work is based on the assumption that certain methodological goals entail a significant feature for educational planning and implementation, and they also are one of the instruments of the functional development cooperation between the two institutions. The theoretical part of thesis deals with the methodological goal as a follow-up to the museum education definition. It is not only essential to find a concept of the term - teaching goal, but also to analyse the content of the museum education goals; so it's the work analysis of a museum pedagogue and his/her goals towards other components in the museum education process. The emphasis is put also on the issue of autoevaluation regarding the educational results. Last but not least the work focusses on the historical perspective as well. Namely, it examines the cooperation between schools and museums, its educational programmes as systematic conditions for a mutual collaboration. The first phase of the qualitative research elaborates on the reflection of museum educational goals from the elementary school teacher...
