The bachelor thesis is focused on the subject "Knowledge of pupils at selected secondary school of pre-medical first aid". The aim of the theoretical part is to define the concept of pre-medical first aid, to enumerate and explain the types of first aid, to specify general procedures for providing first pre-medical and to ana-lyze the issue of didactic tests. The analysis, comparison and synthesis methods are used in the theoretical part of the thesis. The aim of the practical part is to find out, describe and interpret the state of theoretical knowledge of pupils at the Secondary School of Chemistry in Brno from the area of pre-medical first aid with the help of a survey method, didactic test. Based on the results obtained from the respondents, the conclusion and recommendations for pedagogical practice are formulated.
