Energy audit
Miesler, Zdeněk ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
My diploma thesis is focused on processing of an energy audit of an apartment buil-ding in accordance with the Decree 480/2012 Coll. as amended. In the theoretical part I deal with the revitalization of residential and prefabricated houses both in classical ways and with modern technologies. In the practical part is processed analysis of ener-gy consumption of the apartment building in Kyjov in the initial state. In the last part is the energy audit of the apartment building, where are suggested precautions and then proposed the option for implementation.
The energy demand of buildings with almost zero energy consumption
Horáčková, Leona ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The master thesis is focused on rating of buildings with almost zero energy consumption. Theoretical part summarizes general requirements on buildings with almost zero energy consumption. It also discusses other categories of buildings on terms of energy demand and influences and factors affecting the energy performance of buildings. The calculating part comparing three different construction systems of designed family house by means of energy demand with energy assessment and energy performance certificate of buildings.
Ventilation of nearly Zero Energy Building
Frčka, Lukáš ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on nearly zero energy buildings, which are a mandatory part of construction of the buildings in Czech republic after 2020. It also deals with HVAC and its design as part of these buildings. The theoretical part deals with legal and technical regulations and possible savings in HVAC systems. The computational part is focused on two solution of HVAC systems in given object. The project part is about the given object, which is otevřená zahrada Brno. This building was founded by Nadace Partnerství s.r.o.. This third part of diploma thesis deals with the quality of indoor microclimate and evaluation of the heat recovery system effiency, which is applied in local HVAC unit.
Heating and cooling systems in office operations
Dostál, Petr ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of the heating and cooling system, inclu-ding hot water preparation for the administrative part of the production hall. The first part of the thesis briefly discusses the history of heating and cooling of office buildings, legislative requirements and current solutions. The second part contains the design of the entire heating and cooling system with heat pump as a source of heat and cold. The final part of the thesis describes the experimental measure-ment and evaluation of the efficiency of the ice rink source.
Energy assessment and certificate of energy performance of buildings
Bidmonová, Renata ; Horká, Lucie (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the energy assessment and elaboration of energy performance certificates of the building. The building is an apartment building in Vítkov. The theoretical part deals with centralized heat supply. The calculation part contains a more detailed description of individual relationships and calculation procedures that are used to process energy performance certificates of the building. Furthermore, proposals for measures to improve the energy performance of buildings. In this part there is also a proposal of individual equipment of the new boiler room and thermographic measurement. In the project part there is an energy assessment assessing the building in two variants with individual heat sources. The evaluation is carried out from an energy, economic and environmental aspect.
Host manipulation as a helminth strategy increasing the probability of further transmission
Urbanová, Monika ; Horák, Petr (advisor) ; Bulantová, Jana (referee)
The manipulation hypothesis deals with the ability of some parasitic organisms to efficiently change the phenotype of their hosts to facilitate their transmission. The parasite thus gains a selective advantage and, compared to non-manipulating species, is more reproductive. This phenomenon can also be observed in some parasitic helminths. The objects of helminth manipulation are most often invertebrates, who serve as intermediate hosts. In infected animals, we can observe striking morphological changes, abnormal movement reactions, or even suicidal tendencies. The objects of helminth manipulation are most often invertebrates, who serve as intermediate hosts. Manipulation can be divided into direct and indirect, depending on whether the parasite is able to act directly on the nervous tissue of the host. The desired behavioral response can be elicited in other ways, for example, by disrupting the host's metabolism or through complex interactions with the immune system. This thesis focuses mainly on the presentation of various strategies that are most often described in helminth manipulators. Key words: Helminth, host, infection, manipulation, behavioral change, extended phenotype
Design of a Logistics Concept With a Focus on Inventory Management
Karamnova, Anna ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This bachelor thesis analyses a logistic concept of material flow management in IMI Precision Engineering. First part contains a theory behind material inventory management and an analysis of its current state, practical part applies the results to its optimisation.
Logistics Concept with a Focus on the Production Line
Jurásková, Anna ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the study of the production logistics concept in the selected company. At first I focus on the logistics concept of the whole company and then analyze the current material status of the production line. Based on the findings, I will make a draft for continuous material flow on the given line.
Logistics Concept with a Focus on Material Flow Management
Lojek, Jindřich ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the material flow analysis in the company. Various methods of analysis are used in the analytical part, in order to determine whether the component is meant to be stored in the shelf or whether it will be picked at the request. The practical part will analyze the material flow of a specific production line. The appropriate changes in the material stock in the production area will be suggested based on the analysis. The quantity and the method of material ordering from the warehouse will be defined for the material stored in the shelf.
Heating of the office building using condensing technology
Pohůnek, Ondřej ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical and deals with emission, CO2 and Nox and condensatiion boiler. The second part is computational, which deals with the design of heating in an administration building. The last part is the project, which contains the elaborated technical report and the project documentation.
