Traffic Signs Detection and Recognition
Číp, Pavel ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with traffic sign detection and recongnition in the urban environment and outside the town. A precondition for implementation of the system is built-in camera, usually in a car rear-view mirror. The camera scans the scene before the vehicle. The image data are transfered to the connected PC, where the data are transformation to information and evalutations. If the sign was detected the system is visually warned the driver. For a successful goal is divided into four separate blocks. The first part is the preparing of the image data. There are color segmentation with knowledge of color combination traffic signs in Czech Republic. Second part is deals with shape detection in segmentation image. Part number three is deals with recognition of inner pictogram and its finding in the image database. The final part is the visual output of displaying founded traffic signs. The thesis has been prepader so as to ensure detection of all relevant traffic signs in three basic color combinations according to existing by Decree of Ministry of Transport of Czech Republic. The result is the source code for the program MATLAB. .
Traffic Situation Model
Dvořák, Michal ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
In this thesis, parameters required for physical construction of model of traffic camera system are identified. The information is used to design and construct a model, which supports simulation of important traffic situations. With focus, on the ability of model to allow for digital modification of simulation parameters over, for this purpose created, communication interface. The next part of thesis then focuses on creation of application which supports the control and image retrieval from group of cameras. The application is designed to support settings necessary for use as average speed enforcement cameras and as red-light cameras.
Person Identification Based on Locomotion
Pražák, Ondřej ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This paper deals with study of human movement and using that in identification. In the first part of my work are explained characteristics of human movement and factors which take effect on these characteristics. Practical part is dealing with design of program which is solving mentioned problems. The input of program is created by video sequence with lateral movement of human. The program is finding coordinates of lower limbs joints. From this coordinates are created locomotion characteristics used for human identification. Matching of time behaviors is based on correlation.
Pattern recognition
Pelc, Matěj ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This paper proposes robust algorithm for detection of traffic signs in well light conditional. The algorithm uses colour based segmentation method for finding red traffic signs. Fast radial symmetry method FRS is used for identification of constituent shapes. Traffic signs are divided into four classes on the basis of the method.
Workstation with termo camera
Zeman, Martin ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis contains an overview of physical principles concerning thermography and infra-red sensing, and a specification of a measuring instrument in a measurement system. Next, there are some particular examples of IR sensing applications. In the second part there is a thermal camera market research including individual manufacturers and models with their attributes and prices. There is a closer view of the thermal camera used for this thesis (Guide EasIR-4). In the end of the thesis there are some drafts of computer vision subject tasks (or practices), including workplace designs and solutions, and three task suggestions for bachelor or diploma theses including solution verifications.
Visual Navigation of the Vehicle
Jaššo, Kamil ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The thesis consists of retrieval of known solutions of autonomous vehicle navigation. Thesis further describes options for controling autonomous vehicle, and using of sensors in autonomous vehicles. From different types of sensors are selected two types, that are most suitable for visual navigation of the vehicle. Thesis describes the function and way of using these two types of sensors in the visual navigation of the vehicle. The program for obtaining and saving data from selected sensors is also part of the thesis.
Using the image sensor for the identification of defects
Rybár, Vladimír ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Bejček, Ludvík (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the use of cameras for detection of faults. The first part explains the basic concepts concerning the function of cameras and basic instruments of optical inspection. In the following part, various methods for programming the same inspection are shown. Data export for robotic arm is also programmed in desired shape. The programs are verified in a GUI from manufacturers Banner Engineering and Cognex. The proposed program is also verified using camera by manufacturer Banner Engineering. Thesis is concluded by processing and evaluation of different methods of programming, highlighting the advantages/disadvantages of using certain tools.
Software for CT/MRI Images Processing and 3D Geometry Design
Konečný, Ondřej ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
This work is aimed at processing of medical images commonly available in medical technology, their subsequent basic image processing operations and back-3D reconstruction in the created program.
Track detection and planning
Brázdil, Jan ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The goal of the thesis was to design and create a line follower with one-line camera on The Freescale Cup 2013 car model platform. Computational unit is microcontroller Kinetis K40, which receives data from camera and other sensors. Then use these inputs to calculate the ideal path. This bachelor thesis leads to test several different types of controlling in unknown environment – data table control, vector control and PSD controller. It then expolores in known environment – map creation and drive control with map data. The thesis describes all used components, control theory and creating and programming controllers. In conclusion of this thesis all algoritms are tested on real track and results are compared.
Microdots scanner
Červinka, Luděk ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The microdots are very small object. The microdots are applied in protection object. The project purpose is to find and to analyze the microdots. The project consists from two parts. A first part describes the hardware sensor construction and a second part describes the software solution. I selected the optics, camera module and illumination in the hardware part. I’m analyzing of the microdots on a picture in software part.
