Specifics of the work of a novice teacher when integrating a pupil with a different mother tongue at a Czech primary school

This thesis deals with the problematics of the work of a novice teacher, who has a pupil with a different mother tongue in his class. Its aim is to identify the specifics that usually accompany the work of novice teachers when integrating these pupils. The text is structured into two parts, each of which is further divided into several chapters. The first, theoretical, part compiles and then presents expert knowledge on migration, inclusion and then education of pupils with a different mother tongue and, last but not least, the role of the school as well as teachers in the process of integration of these children. It also sets out the criteria that affect and influence pupil integration with a different mother tongue. The second part of the thesis is practical. It contains an analysis of the work of two teachers who currently have pupils with a different mother tongue in their class and are trying to integrate them. It is focused on the specifics of working with them. The analysis of their work is carried out on the criteria set out at the end of the theoretical part of this thesis. Improving teaching of pupils with different mother tongues at primary school

The diploma thesis deals with possibilities of improving the teaching of pupils with a different mother tongue at primary school level. The theoretical part analyzes the available literature on the subject. The thesis answers questions as: How is it possible to support pupils with a different mother tongue? Which approaches and methods can be used while teaching foreign pupils to improve and facilitate the education of pupils with different mother tongues? How to ensure that all the pupils in the class develop the same skills at the same time? The gained knowledge from the theoretical part of the thesis is used to create interventions and empirical part of the thesis. Empirical part of the thesis is based on a research to test methods and practices to improve and facilitate the teaching of the pupils with a different mother tongue. In the course of several months of intense collaboration with a particular pupil, the ways to improve the quality of teaching have been investigated. It turned out not all of the methods and practices are effective. Role of a beggining pedagogical assistent of an immigrant children in a class in primary school

Aim of the theoretical part is to describe a relationship teacher-pedagogical assistant - immigrant child in primary school. I describe the definition of their competences, possible difficulties of their cooperation but also ideal humanities of the assistant and identify the relationship between him and the immigrant student. Continuing with describing special needs of this student, his position in a class and appropriate forms and methods of working with him/her. I slightly touch even the base of culture-free methods. In the practical part, the reader will follow my experiment with three immigrant students using method of conceptual learning and how this culture-free method influences students school achievements. The results of this study are positive not only in a way that the students become more proficient in the troubled school subject but they also gained a lot of self-confidence and autonomy. Support of language development for children with different mother tongues in kindergarten

ANOTATION The presented thesis The promotion of language development of children with a different mother tongue in kindergarten deals with the integration of children with different mother tongue into the nursery environment. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of three chapters, where the first chapter outlines the image of today's society with regard to multicultural education. The second chapter deals with the issue of communication, namely the development of children's speech, communication in kindergarten and the support of the language development of children with a different mother tongue. The third chapter focuses on the legislative conditions for education of children with a different mother tongue. For the practical part of the bachelor thesis, the author chose one of the qualitative methods - a case study specifically focused on observation, systematic work and subsequent evaluation of the individual educational plan created in order to integrate a foreign language child into a group of peers in the nursery.
Cooperation of Family and School at the Beginning of School Attendance

The diploma thesis deals with cooperation between family and school at the beginning of the education. The theoretical part is focused on the family and the school such as an educational institution. It describes a fixing cooperation between family and school in the obligatory documents for the education and represents principles and possible limits. It also deals with an expectaion and parent's and teacher's worries. It represents programmes and initiatives be supported to cooperation with school with family for example "Rodiče vítáni" and "Začít spolu". The empiric part deals with research, which watches a particular forms of cooperation the school with parents on the particular secondary school, mainly on the first school. The research is created by questionnaire, an interview and an observation.
Czech as a second language for a pupil with a different mother tongue in primary school

This thesis deals with teaching Czech as a second language for pupils with a different mother tongue at primary school. Collects and presents professional findings on this topic. Diploma thesis explains the difference between Czech as a second language and Czech as a foreign language and compares them. The thesis examined what is necessary when the teacher is planning the lesson. Further, describes in detail the various materials and textbook Domino 1 in terms of a beginning teacher of Czech for foreigners. In the practical part of the thesis submitted to analyse three topics. Based on this analysis and complete analysis of theoretical knowledge, textbooks, and materials originated recommendations for a beginning teachers. The thesis also deals with a utility of textbooks of Czech as a second language in a regular classroom. The practical part includes ideas for games in a lesson or samples of worksheets. The result of the work is to evaluate teaching materials and sample other tools that can be used in the Czech lessons for foreigners. Development, possibilities and skills of a teacher working with immigrant children in primary school

Theoretical part follow up possibilities of a teacher in self-education of students with Czech as a second language problematic as well as preparation for entry to class for students with Czech as a second language and their teachers as their mission should be to create welcoming climate in the class. I also describe the key terms in field of students with Czech as a second language in Czech Republic and Finland as well. In the practical part I prepare questionnaires for teachers with the goal to identify the level of awareness on this issue, which I deepen via subsequent interviews with selected teachers. Based on personal experience from an internship in Finland than the findings from interviews and study of available literature to prepare a workshop for teachers. I would also like to prepare a variety of examples of good practice and inspiration for teachers. This thesis is focused on an education of students with different mother language (OMJ) at the first degree of primary school. It's consist of two parts. The terms specified in the theoretical part are related to student OMJ, influence of foreigners in Czech republic. This part is also focused on educating student with OMJ at Czech primary schools. The practical part of thesis describes research which was implemented in various schools. Qualitative part of this research was made on sample of five students with different mother language, who each visits different primary school. The goal of the whole research was the obtain data about education of students and also the way the teachers works with their language goals of teaching. Personality and Social Education and its influence on the classe climate

The topic of my Diplome Thesis is Personal Education and its influence on the class climate at Primary School. In the theoretical part i describe the class climate, its participants, types, approaches and methods of its research. Thereafter, I explore how to optimize class climate. In the second part I describe the Personal and Social Edusation. I analyse the benefits of this croos- curricular topic, I split its contents on the topics and in conclusion, I analyse methodology principles and scheme of work with the aktivity of the Personal and Social Education. In the practical part I do the initial diagnosis of the climate in my class. It builds long- term interventions implemented activities of the Personal and Social Education, which is topped off with the final diagnosis. The comparison of both of the diagnostics, where it is showed a very positive shift, it illustrates the influence of Personal and Social Education in the class climate.
