Inclusive education in modern primary school

This thesisi deals with the inclusive education of children, pupils and students with special educational needs in the current elementary school. In the theoretical part of the thesis there are defined terms as inclusion and inclusive education, pupils with special educational needs, assistant teacher, school advisory facilities. I have tried to clarify inclusive education and summarize the conditions that are important for the integration of pupils with special educational needs in primary school. As a goal in the practical part, I have set the specification of the advantages or disadvantages of inclusive education in a particular case at school that is engaged in this form of education. The class of celected school, where incorporated nine pupils are educated according to an individual education plan, is described in more detail. Supporting investigation, guided interview technique is shown in the next section of inclusive education from the perspective of legal representatives - mothers of pupils with special educational needs. The questionnaire survey was to determine how schools in the district of Kladno work with inclusive education. Influence on the formation of self-concept school pupil to 1 primary school

The work is focused on influence of schools on pupil's self-concept formation at primary school. It captures the different influences of the school and the school surrounding at shaping of the self-concept of the pupil. The theoretical part maps the internal and external that influences at pupils at school. It deals with defining of self- concept as one of the special feature of personality self development, focusing on the pupils at primary schools, which influances at success at school and self-concept formation. This work presents the various effects of schools and school surrounding that are important for the development of pupils' self-concept. At the same time the work shows the possibility of the development of a healthy self-concept of pupils at elementary school. The practical part explores the self-concept of pupils at the end of the third and fifth year. The practical tries to determine the relationship between success at school and self-concept of the pupil in the primary school. There is information about pupils' maening of success at school, if success at school is important for them. It also researches which of the various influences of school is the most important and how it differ self-consept of the pupils of the third and fifth grade.
Motivation for learning of pupils at the end of primary school

The thesis is focused on issues of motivation for learning of pupils at the end of primary school. The first part of the thesis elaborates theoretical solutations to the process of the motivation for learning of pupils at school. It explains the definition of motivation in the pedagogical and psychological point of view. The thesis also introduces internal and external factors which are considered to create the motivation for learning. For the support of the motivation a teacher has to know the age specifics of the children, orientation of their personality and their learning style. The crucial sources of the motivation for learning are cognitive needs, social needs and achievement needs which participate in individual motivation orientation of children. In the case the needs are not developed or satisfied they may happen to be frustrated and manifested as boredom or fear. The action research in the second part ot the thesis watch which methods the class teacher uses to actualizate and develop the needs of her pupils. The complementary research is made with other teachers of the pupils at this age and investigates the competence to react to the motivation requirements of their pupils. Pupils - foreigners in classes of a primary school

The thesis is focused on the education and socialization of schoolchild - foreigners in classrooms of primary school. In the theoretical section it summarizes the findings of the Vietnamese ethnic minority living in Prague and Chomutov, the legal anchoring of the education of schoolchild - foreigners on teacher competences. The thesis summarizes the problematic questions of inclusion of schoolchild - foreigners and the importance of multicultural education in primary school. In the research part it collects and evaluates experiences of teachers with education of Vietnamese students in some elementary schools in Prague. Class climate

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the criteria of the school class climate quality, to deal with the role of the primary school teacher as a co-creator of the climate, with the requirements that are laid on the teacher and the required proffesional competences. The thesis also deals with analysis of the conditions that create the school climate from the pupils' point of view - especially the development compliance that originates from the dependence on the class composition. Another aim of the thesis is to describe issue of newly-made casses on the grounds of created relationships between the pupils both during and outside the lessons. The methods of educational survey and educational-psychological diagnosis were used.
Assessment of Pupils at Primary School

The present thesis focuses on assessment of pupils at primary school in relation to motivation for learning. The theoretical part describes kinds and forms of assessment and aspects influencing students' motivation. The practical part researches if a form of assessment influences student's motivation. Research results show that a student's motivation is determined by family influence and upbringing from which a student's attitude to education unreels. School assessment does not cause students any problems; it is important and desirable for them and their parents.
Teacher's Strategies Solving the Lack of Discipline of Pupils during Teaching at a Junior School

The diploma thesis dealt with the topic of pupils' lack of discipline at a junior school. The theoretical part contains the basic terms' characteristics, information on teachers' strategies to solve the lack of discipline, and it summarises findings from available literature dealing with pedagogy. In the practical part, opinions, attitudes and experience of teachers and thein pupils concerning the lack of disciple in classes are surveyed using the method of a survey questionnaire. Some answers of teachers and pupils were compared. As a supplementary survey, an interview with junior school teachers was conducted. Some strategies used by teachers to prevent and solve the lack of discipline in their classes were compared with those used by me in my own class. It was found out that majority of teachers' and pupils' answers were similar. Teachers use strategies that not only represent solutions to pupils' lack of discipline but they also prevent indiscipline.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the current situation of the integration in the Czech education system focusing on the issues and specifics inclusion of foreign pupils and on consideration of the impact of pupils' country of origin on the process. The theoretical part of diploma thesis mentions the reasons for the integration of foreigners. Moreover, it highlights why and from where they are coming to the Czech Republic. It captures the current legislation and the rights of foreigners who want to settle permanently in the Czech Republic. Further, it shows the analysis of different ways of educating pupils with special needs, the placement of foreign pupils at Czech elementary schools and intercultural differences, which may have impact on pupils' integration. The practical part focuses on comparing the available theoretical knowledge and the everyday reality of Czech teachers who teach foreign pupils and can work on their daily practice. Based on the comparison of theoretical and practical knowledge the author explains the personal point of view on the integration of foreign pupils and suggests some ideas how to overcome mentioned shortcomings....
