Title: Junior tennis technique The bachelor's thesis analyzes the technique of shots among junior tennis players, in particular intermediate and advanced players (both males and females) aged between 11 and 15 years of age. It focuses on three basic shots in tennis: forehand, backhand and serve as those are the most frequent shots in the game. This thesis describes individual parts of the research and highlights methods being video recording, testing, observation. With the help of video the thesis analyzes particular details of the level of skill of the shot making of individual players. Objectives: Analysis and evaluation of forehand, backhand and serve technique between tennis players in tennis school. Methods: Video analysis, observation and testing method Results: Based upon the findings, we can conclude that shot making success rate was much higher than that of efficiency amongst the players. As far as technical execution of the shots goes, players had better rating in backhands than forehands. However, efficiency was better in forehand shots. The worst aspect was the serve where technical execution as well as efficiency was far worse than that of backhands and forehands among half the players analyzed.
