Knowledge about reproductive health at stage 2 of the selected primary school

This master thesis focuses on the knowledge of reproductive health among middle schoolers in the targeted middle schools in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of my work, I define the term of reproduction health, describe physiology of female and male genitals, disorders in reproductive health, and types of methods -natural invasive- offered by anticonception. Another part of my thesis concerns on reproductive health related to a prostitution, and a sexual abuse, and pregnancy impact on teenage girls' bodies during pubescence. I track the representation of teaching reproductive health in middle schools through RSVP and its main goals in certain areas and key competencies. The goal of my thesis was to map out the knowledge of reproductive health among the students who have been taught this knowledge through a class. As a research methodology, I used a survey that was distributed among middle schoolers in the sixth to eight grades. The results of my survey show that the eighth graders have the most amount of knowledge about reproductive health, but somehow still lower than one might expect. Stress research of teachers of selected elementary schools

In 2003 The National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) in Prague carried out project of health promotion entitled "Reducing the risk of mental workload of teachers in primary schools and the possibility of objectification." The research was conducted in collaboration with 17 randomly selected elementary schools in Prague (the total population of 157 female teachers over 40 years. The research was consisted of three parts: questionnaire survey, interview and collection of medical data (hypertension, cholesterol, obesity, smoking). This diploma thesis follows up on this research, but within the available options it deals only with questionnaire survey (without collection of medical data). In 2016, a questionnaire survey was conducted among the teachers of selected elementary schools, and 604 questionnaires were filled out, and it was monitored whether teachers were taught at primary schools or schools involved in the Health Promotion School. In the theoretical part, the diploma thesis deals with various theoretical approaches to stress, coping strategies and analysis of stressors that are specific to the teaching profession. Selected schools' students' awareness of selected types of nutraceuticals

The main topic of this work is food supplements, their legislation and other theory connected with them, the main focus is on plant nutraceuticals, of which are chosen food supplements marketed to support immunity system - echinacea, sea buckthorn and oyster mushroom, food supplements to support psyche - St. John's wort, ginkgo and valerian and dietary supplements to support body fitness - tribulus, garcinia and psyllium. Subsequently, the topic focuses on the marketing of nutraceuticals, its modern ways and the possibilities of increasing the students' awareness in this field through the principles of media education. In the practical part, 112 students aged 15-19 are presented with a lecture presenting the topic and inviting students to raise their interest in the subject. The feedback of the lecture is provided by a questionnaire whose questions correspond to the hypotheses set by the author. Physical activities of older school aged children in a weekly regime

This bachelor thesis presents an integration of the physical activities into the weekly regime of older school aged children. The main research is focused at comparing children from two elementary schools, one located in the center of Prague and the other one on the outskirts of the capital city, with considering their sporting and physical interests. The theoretical part deals with the necessity to incorporate the physical activities for this age category into their daily life, describes appropriate (or inappropriate) sports activities and health complications resulting from a lack of movement. In the practical part of the thesis, the questionnaire research compares the frequency of the children's physical activities integration in two mentioned elementary schools. Then follow an analysis of the data collected and a final summary of the thesis issue. The purpose of my bachelor thesis is to compare and find out in which geographical areas the older school aged children incorporate more physical activities into their lives, so basically whether are children from a big town center or a small town district better off.

Preventing occupational burnout among field social workers in the Mladá Boleslav District

Occupational burnout is a serious and increasingly discussed topic. Its serious consequences do not affect only workers employed in social services, but also employees of individual facilities. Appropriate prevention could help to stop the loss of qualified workers. This thesis explores possible preventive measures against the burnout focusing among field social workers in the Mladá Boleslav District. The theoretical part of this thesis defines occupational burnout, describes its causes of origin, phases, its disease pattern, treatment, prevention including specific risks related to this profession. The final chapter focuses on the possibilities of personal development aimed at preventing the occurrence of occupational burnout. For the practical part, a combined research method was selected applying the quantitative approach of questionnaires for social service workers together with a qualitative method of conducting interviews with senior executives. The results are presented in verbal as well as graphical form. The aim of this research was to find out about the level of prevention among selected social service workers in Mladá Boleslav. Knowledge of Chosen Students in Branch of Study of Nutritive Assistant about "Study of Foodstuffs"

Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části ukazuje význam zdraví jako významné životní hodnoty a analyzuje problematiku zdravého životního stylu, jehož podstatnou součástí je zdravá výživa. Vychází z vědeckých poznatků nauky o poživatinách a popisuje význam základních živin pro život jedince. Ukazuje kompetence nutričních asistentů jako významné zdravotnické profese se širokým uplatněním především v rámci zdravotnických a sociálních organizací, ale i v komerčním sektoru. Praktická část se prostřednictvím kvantitativního výzkumu - dotazníkového šetření, realizovaného v rámci souboru vybraných žáků, zabývá efektivností edukačního procesu budoucích nutričních asistentů v oblasti nauky o poživatinách.
