The Evaluation of Development Project
Šrom, Marek ; Hanák, Petr (referee) ; Heralecký, Tomáš (advisor)
The master's thesis is focused on evaluation of development project for the purpose of recommendation, how the company should continue with the project in the future. The analysis of the commercial real estate market and evaluation of up-to-date financial results are included. In the practical part, alternatives of selling the project and the prediction of future progress in case of lease-continuation are compared.
Flight properties of discgolf disc
Valík, Tomáš ; Sekora, Jiří (referee) ; Hanák, Petr (advisor)
Even through the rising popularity of disc golf all around the world, there aren't many solutions on how to compare individual throws, other than by observing. By placing inertial sensors on the bottom plate of the disc, an average rotation frequency was obtained by an algorithm. By comparing six methods of evaluation with reference values measured with the Qualisys system, the best method returns an average percent error of 2,66 %. Based on this result a test comparing two throws, backhand and forehand, was made, with average values of 14,22 and 11,46 revolutions per second. Two sample t-test rejected null hypothesis at the 0,05 significance level with p-value 2,101*10^(-18).
Validity of Local Positioning System
Németh, Filip ; MPA, David Prycl, (referee) ; Hanák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this presented thesis is to verify the validation of LPS, which runs on the principle of wave radiations, UWB technology in particular. The testing protocol verifies the precision of system functions in various places and two diferent altitudes of the pitch. The ultimate precision of monitoring was recorded in the middle of the pitch, vanishing to the sides. In a higher altitude, with no surrounding walls, the recordings from the middle of the pitch were nearly similar to the sides of it. The anchor altitudes of the mechanism affect the overall monitored results. In comparison, the accuracy of tag placed approximately in a plane of anchors was lower than tag placed in a vest of an athlete.
Wattmeters for cycling
Hrbotický, Lukáš ; Hanák, Petr (referee) ; Korvas, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis talking about problematics of measuring the wattage of cycling on a road bike. It describes ways in which it is possible to measure the wattage on the bike and explains functional principle of power meters. As practical part of this thesis the measurement is performed according to the proposed test protocol. Based on the analysis and processing of the obtained data, the accuracy of individual types of meter performance is discussed.
Snímání tlaku vyvíjeného sedacími partiemi na cyklistické sedlo
Hájková, Markéta ; Korvas, Pavel (referee) ; Hanák, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with pressure mapping and testing the women’s cycling pads which affect this pressure as well. Cycling causes pain in the intimate areas for many women and men. This problem can be caused by several factors – shorts padding, saddle shape or wrong bike position. The aim of this work is to assess whether various women’s cycling pads influence perineal protection and level of comfort. The theoretical part contains informations about cycling, anatomy, technologies and materials used in the manufacture of bicycle linings. The practical part focuses on the measurement methodology, description of chamoises and evaluation in terms of the effectiveness of damping and pressure distribution. For measurement was used Medilogic pressure mapping device.

Title: Methodics of Obstacle swimming Objective: The objectve of my disertation is to define requirments for Obstacle swimming and present the most effective methods for mastering in this discipline of Military Penthatlon Methods: Methods of pedagogical research Methods or theoretical and empirical research Results: The outcome of this thesis is to create methodics for obstacle swimming, show major mistakes in overcoming obstacles and give examples for ideal training session for swimming itself as well as obstacle swimming. Keywords: methodics, obstacle swimming lane, forward crawl, training, Military Pentathlon, overcoming obstacles
Synchronization and practical use of isokinetic dynamometer with surface electromyography unit
Špaková, Adriána ; Hanák, Petr (referee) ; Šťastný, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with a design proposal for the solution of synchronization of an isokinetic dynamometer with a surface electromyography unit, and subsequently performs the realization of their synchronization. These devices are used as diagnostic and therapeutic medical technique and in practice are standardly used separately. It is expected that by using them simultaneously would be possible to obtain more detailed information about the condition of the examined individual. Synchronized devices can thus be useful, for example, for the analysis of muscle performance of patients with neuromuscular diseases or athletes who want to improve their quality of life after suffering an injury or plan comeback to their favourite activity. After successful synchronization, the work is focused on testing the muscle activity of flexors and extensors of the knee joint of athletes. Measurements were performed on healthy subjects as well as those who had suffered knee injuries in the past. The measured signals were processed, and the measurement results were interpreted. The work includes the elaboration of all the goals based on its assignment, including the main idea of the work, what is the successful synchronization of the isokinetic dynamometer with the surface electromyography unit and their practical use.
Mutational Analysis of UCP1 and Phylogenetic Relations within the Uncoupling Protein Subfamily
Hanák, Petr
ln theoretical part search for new homologs of known UCPs, thus for new members of UCP subfamily was carried out. New UCPs were found in Drosophila melanogaster (four UCP species), one in nematode Caenorhabditis elegans, one in model organism - soil amoeba belonging lo Protists (Protista) Dictyostelium discoideum and one new UCP in plant Arabidopsis thaliana. Constructed phylogenetic tree grouped previously known and newly annotated UCPs into two main groups - "UCP4 cluster" (into which belong besides UCP4 and BMCP/UCP5 all newly uncovered UCP species) and "classical" one comprising UCP1, 2, 3 and PUMPs. Apparent widespread presence of UCP4 type uncoupling proteins throughout the whole animal kingdom might support its role as an ancestor in UCP evolution. In experimental part of the dissertation importance of particular amino acid residues for proton (and also Cl- ) transport as well as for binding of regulatory NPs was studied. Three UCP1 mutants from the 1st α-helix (D27V, T30A and C24A-D27V- T30A) and two from the second matrix segment (H145L-H147L and R152L) were constructed, expressed and incorporated into proteoliposomes with entrapped H+ and Cl- indicator. By the same procedure proteoliposomes with wild type UCP1 were prepared. The transport properties of wt UCP1 were in agreement with the...
Lighting with Tunable Spectral Distribution and Its Influence on Human Physiological Functions
Hanák, Petr ; Bendová,, Zdeňka (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
In this diplomat theses are considered the effects of light on human beings, especially on physical performance. The goal of this work was to design a suitable method for evaluation of the effects of light on physical performance. Furthermore, to verify designed methods in laboratory environment and the assessment of collected data. After creating this method several people were tested under different light conditions and collected date evaluated. The results are suggesting that high intensity lighting with low wave lengths leads to an increase of physiological activity in organism and therefore to a potential decreasing physical performance.
Control of emergency lighting by Foxtrot system
Hanák, Petr ; Klaban, Jaromír (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This work is about control of emergency lighting, standards and requirements for their operation and installation. Requirements for operation and safety of emergency lighting by valid standards are mentioned same as requirements for construction, installation and checking. Control of emergency lighting is realized by Foxtrot system. There are listed its properties, each part of the system, possibilities of installation and connection of systems modules and parts. Mentioned are also other ways of systems control of emergency lighting and specific examples of systems used by developers of lighting systems.
