Methods of data fusion from disparate sensors for localization
Ioani, Leida ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Juráň, Radovan (advisor)
Tato práce je zaměřena na UWB technologii, konkrétně nový IEEE 802.15.4z standart a IMU senzory. Cílem je popsat princip pozicování pomocí UWB, bezpečnostní prvky, možnosti překonání potenciálních hrozeb a vylepšení přesnosti lokalizace v reálném čase pomocí fúze dat s IMU. Praktická část porovnává několik optimalizačních algoritmů pro pozicování.
Control of studio equipment using the OSC protocol
Pernica, Ondřej ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis examines the Open Sound Control (OSC) protocol, its characteristics, and its application for controlling studio equipment. The first section delves into the description of the fundamental features of OSC, with a particular focus on the transport layer, data structures, and data types. It elucidates the principle of time synchronization of OSC packets and the model of symbolic addresses. Additionally, real-life scenarios and applications that utilize these OSC features are provided. Moving on to the second part, it explores the possibilities of controlling the TotalMix application through OSC. This application governs the internal mixing console of RME audio interfaces with HDSP core. The section also presents a comprehensive list of OSC messages that were generated based on thorough testing and the provided manufacturer's documentation. In the third segment, the design of a device utilizing the ESP32 microcontroller for controlling the TotalMix FX application through UDP-sent OSC commands is described. The configuration options for this device include a touchscreen, web browser, and OSC. The fourth section focuses on the implementation of the designed device, encompassing the production of the printed circuit board (PCB), component assembly, and mechanical modifications to the enclosure. Finally, the fifth part addresses the software design, highlighting the libraries employed, explaining the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, and providing insights into the functions of key classes within the program.
Delay and Tremolo Guitar Multi-Effect
Blažek, Jiří ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
This work deals with the design and construction of a delay – tremolo type multi-effect unit. In the theoretical part, it thoroughly studies the functioning of both types of effects in detail. It further focuses on circuit solutions and provides a detailed description of the schematic. The work subsequently verifies the functionality of these schematics in the Ltspice simulation program. Then the simulation results are compared with measurements on a breadboard. In conclusion, the work focuses to the PCB design and the construction of the multi-effect pedal.
Automatic variable gain amplifier for measuring frequency characteristic of microphone
Bařinka, Václav ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of device for measuring characteristics of microphone for a laboratory of subject Elektroakustika. This device provides user with measurement of frequency characteristic of chosen microphone, via known characteristics of reference microphone and regulation loop. Thesis contains of introduction to the problem, parts selection and circuit completition, simluations and draft of the device, including it´s front panel. Thesis also deals with a problem of temperature compensation. Simulations were ran in software LTspice, circuit completition in EAGLE and for front panel draft Fusion360 was used.
Precision amplifier for acoustic characterization of headsets
Kadlec, Matěj ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with design of measurement interface compliant with ITU-T P.381 for measuring electroacoustic qualities of communication devices (e.g. headsets, handsets). Thesis provides design of main electrical circuit which combines headphone amplifier and two microphone preamplifiers – one for electret microphone and one for standard XLR microphone with optional phantom power. Power supply and auxiliary circuits are also considered in the design.
USB cable tester
Fašanga, Jozef ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
Measuring low resistances is a problem that also occurs with USB cables. The basic feature influencing the functionality is the voltage drop. The work deals with the theoretical possibilities of measuring low resistances and subsequent realization of connections. The ATmega32U4 microcontroller is used to control the device, which provides a USB interface for programming. Work theoretically discusses individual communications used for OLED display and ADC. Subsequently, the work discusses the design of the box for the device and the basics of the program, which is uploaded to the microcontroller.
Implementation of printed circuit board with high-speed data lines
Čunderlík, Dávid ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This master’s thesis covers the design of PCBs with high-speed buses and signal paths. Theoretically describes the causes of problems associated with the design of these systems and their general solutions. Emphasis is placed on recommendations for system designs with DDR3 / 4 memories and PCIe interface. The work describes the recommendation for each critical point of the design and an example of these recommendations is designed PCB with ARM processor TI AM6526 on an 8-layer printed circuit board in the format "System on module" with a size of 80x60 \, mm. The connection of this "SoM" to the expansion boards is solved via a pair of DF40-100DS connectors and the "SoM" itself contains 4 memory modules DDR4 interface for Micro-SD cards, 16GB eMMC memory.
The Determinants of Corporate Credit Lines Accessibility in the Czech Republic
Hanák, Pavel ; Gapko, Petr (advisor) ; Janda, Karel (referee)
This work focuses on the factors influencing the accessibility of credit lines for the companies in the Czech Republic. Its methodology follows the respected works written in the field of credit markets or in the field of econometrical methods suitable for the estimation of such markets. The main econometrical tool of this work is the Maximum Likelihood Estimation. Dependent variable is always the percentage change of the total volume of corporate loans and the independent variables are the percentage changes of different macroeconomic indicators. This work brings key findings important for the understanding the of the Czech corporate credit market.
