The architectural study of the church for the estate Lisen-Vinohrady, Brno
Havlík, Jiří ; Žalmanová, Petra (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the issue of sacral space of Brno-Líšeň, where there is a request to build a church as a part the Salesian Center. Part of the problematics was the construction of the Parish house and the Community house as a part of the church mentioned above. The plot is situated at the site of the southern slope between Horáková and Molákova Street and in close proximity of the Salesi center. The project is conceived as a progressively graduating spiral rising from the mass of the community house to the sculpture of the cross at the tower of the church. Visually both building are separated from the north side but are partially connected thanks to the underground floor from the south side. The building of the community center shall be a three-story building. The design of the church itself is based on the centralization of space and due to progressive gradation to the center of the building, where all the events associated with the Christian year take place. The complex serves both as a place where the widespread society can fulfill their spiritual needs as well as a sanctuary of the Salesian community, where they can fulfill their mission.
Duty of due managerial care of member of an elective body of a limited company and consequences of its violation
Havlík, Jiří ; Černá, Stanislava (advisor) ; Zahradníčková, Marie (referee)
My thesis focuses on one of the fundamental issues of representation of stock corporations by their elected bodies or members of these bodies. This issue concerns the responsibility of these parties to act in the performance of their duties with due managerial care which is a key aspect in determining the standard required from the parties representing a limited liability company and a joint stock company. This topic is extremely relevant to the current situation due to recent re- codification of private law, whose linchpins are Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, and Act No. 90/2012 Coll. on business companies and cooperatives (the Act on Business Corporations). The authors of these regulations during their drafting had to cope with the development of both the doctrine and the case law and their task was not only to adapt the legislation to the commercial law practice of stock corporations of the 21st century, but also to resolve some of its contentious issues. The thesis consists of an introduction, three main chapters further subdivided into subsections and the conclusion. The first chapter deals with the legal regulation and the description of the concept of due managerial care and related aspects at the time of effectiveness of Act No. 513/1991 Coll., the Commercial Code. Prague's Archbishop Johann Friedrich von Waldstein and his controversy on the Turkish wars taxes (1682-1694)
Havlík, Jiří ; Čornejová, Ivana (advisor) ; Vlnas, Vít (referee) ; Maur, Eduard (referee)
The ann of this thesis of archbishop of Prague Johann Friedrich von Waldstein (1642 - 1694; archbishop 1675-1694) consists in description of conflicts with Czech land assembly and state apparatus in the years 1678, 1679, 1682-1686 and 1691-1694. The last and most important continued also after his death (3'^'* June 1694). That time Czech clergy sent two deputies (further archbishop Daniel Ignatius Mayer of Mayem and abbot of monastery in Plasy Andreas Troyer) to Vienna, to arrange adjustment of a dispount, which culminated on the beginning of the year 1694. Principal chapters of this thesis deal with conflicts in the years 1682-1686 and 1691- 1694 (chapters 4-7). These are based on detailed archive research, especially of sources of 1®' department of National Archives in Czech republic (Archives of archiepiscopate in Prague), Family archives of Waldstein, located in The Regional State Archives in Prague and Archivio Segreto Vaticano in Cittá del Vaticano. Some subsidiary sources I have found also in Archivům Romanům Societatis Jesu, The Regional State Archives in Litoměřice or in Archivio di Pontificia Universita Gregoriana in Italy, Main issue of the thesis shapes four points: First one was the description of main events of the history of Prague archiepiscopate (and in part also of Litoměřice episcopate),...

A Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-country and multi-center, phase IV study to demonstrate the efficacy of influenza vaccine Fluarix administrated intramuscularly in adults.
Wertzová, Veronika ; Šmejkalová, Jindra (advisor) ; Havlík, Jiří (referee) ; Havlíčková, Martina (referee)
Influenza is the most common human infectious disease. Contrary to common upper tract respiratory infections influenza is a serious disease causing worldwide every year thousands of death. Influenza is always considered to be a trivial infection, not only by ordinary persons but even by specialists. Vaccination is the most effective possibility of prevention recently. However there are still doubts concerning influenza vaccine efficacy, clinical trials evaluating vaccine efficacy are not enough consistent. This work tries to evaluate the efficacy of GlaxoSmithKline Bilogicals' influenza vaccine Fluarix administrated intramuscularly in one dose scheme in healthy adults aged 18-64. 7652 subjects were enrolled in Finland and the Czech Republic during 2006/2007 influenza season to this clinical trial. The reactogenity, safety and immunogenicity of the vaccine are also presented in this work. According to obtained results the author demonstrates high vaccine efficacy, excellent immunogenicity, low reactogenity and high vaccine safety. The author tries to destroy a presumption concerning low efficacy and high adverse events frequency following influenza vaccination.
