The Evolution of Economic Relations between France and Colonies of The Second French Colonial Empire

This study concentrates on the evolution of economic relations between France and its former colonies. While respecting the chronological order of events, it describes the history of French colonisation from its beginning until now. It seeks common aspects and contrasts in the events in respective colonies or groups of colonies. The aim is to approve the thesis that colonial past has direct influence on today's economic partnerships with France and that these partnerships differentiate depending on the intensity and continuity of business relations during the colonial era. In order to analyse the difference between French-Vietnamese and French-African economic relations, I will use the gravity model of trade.
Economic situation of Catalonia, its position in the European Union and cooperation with the Czech Republic

The thesis focuses on the evaluation of the economic situation of the Spanish Autonomous Community of Catalonia, its position in the Kingdom of Spain and the European Union and cooperation with residents of the Czech Republic. In addition to the summary of past development, this thesis also aims to analyse the potential and attractiveness of the area and to propound possibilities of future development in relation to the Czech Republic. Firstly, the bachelor's thesis presents the most important information about Catalonia, including historical development and demographic and political characterization. The following section deals with the analysis of the economic situation of the region and the description of factors which may influence investment decisions. The overall attractiveness of the area is summarized by SWOT analysis. The thesis additionally focuses on the trade and political cooperation of Catalonia within the EU and on received structural funds. Lastly, the significance of the Autonomous Community as a partner of the Czech Republic in terms of trade and investment is evaluated.
Economic impacts of a potential secession of Catalonia

This thesis is focused on the economic impacts of a potential secession of Catalonia from Spain. The objective of the thesis is to analyse potential implications of the secession for particular areas of Catalan economy. Another objective of the thesis is to assess positive and negative impacts of the secession, and finally to assess whether the secession from Spain would be beneficial for Catalan economy.
Analysis of the business environment of Nigeria

This thesis analyzes the business environment of Nigeria with a focus on political, economic, social, technological and legal factors. These factors have a big impact on entrepreneurs, therefore they play an important role in deciding entrepreneurs whether to enter the market or not. First, it is defined a theoretical background for understanding the issue. The following section deals with the analysis of the business environment with a view to possible risks and threats. In the conclusion was analyzed a mutual business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Nigeria and the current state of relations.
Marketing communication of the company Pinko, a. s.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to analyze marketing communication of the company Pinko, a. s., which is a Czech ice cream's producer, and to provide a potential suggestion of new marketing activities that could the company use. The first part of the theoretical section is dedicated to marketing communication and communication mix, the second part is focused on the ice cream market. The practical section of this thesis is focused on Pinko, a. s., its history, products and previous marketing communication. The added value of the thesis is a survey, which was to discover the awareness about Pinko, a. s. in the environs of its seat, consumer preferences in ice cream and favourite marketing tools. Results of the survey serve as a base for the suggestion of further marketing activities, which the company could implement.
The role of EGAP and other selected ECAs in export guarantee and insurance schemes

This thesis focuses on the role of EGAP and other selected ECAs in export guarantee and insurance schemes in the world. The objective of the thesis is to define the role of EGAP in comparison to other selected ECAs regarding the adjustment of premium rates level. The other goal is aimed at the result of the comparative analysis, which consists of recommendation to the Czech ECA of how to have the effective premium rates set. In the view of the fact, that including all insurance products would be impossible to carry out the analysis, only one product regarding the type D Insurance of an Export Buyer Credit against the risk of non-payment was selected and applied to the analysis.

The aim of the thesis is to charakterise and analyse new trends in marketing communication currently applied on russian market. The theoretical part of the thesis defines and examines basic terms connected to marketing communication, marketing mix, communication mix and its particular components. In this part, there are analysis of russian marketing market, russian consumer, consumer differencies and usage of particular media in marketing. The practical part of the thesis examine in detail commercials currently used on russian market. More specifically it dedicates online advertisemet, advertisement in television and sponsoring. From analysis of data are established conclusions as assesing the efectiveness of particular marketing communication tools. The final chapter provides specifications of new trends in marketing communication on russian market.
The position of Colombia on the world coffee market

The thesis deals with the importance of Colombia on the world coffee market. Colombia is the third greatest producer of coffee in the world. The aim of this thesis is to characterize the position of Colombia on the international coffee market. Firstly, there is specified the coffee as a commodity for trading, coffee plant and its species, harvesting of coffee fruits and the following processing of coffee beans including the ratings of coffee beans quality. In the second chapter, there is characterized the world coffee market, the greatest producers and consumers, forms of trading with coffee, development of coffee prices and International Coffee Organization including its individual Agreements. The last chapter is concentrated solely on Colombia, history of Colombian coffee production, the biggest coffee companies, development of Colombian coffee export during the 21st century and future trends, importance of fair trade in Colombian coffee production and concernment of coffee production and export for Colombian economy.
The current business environment of Bulgaria

This thesis addresses the current situation of the business environment in Bulgaria. The aim of this thesis is to provide basic information about country's business environment in terms of attractiveness for Czech entrepreneurs, who are interested in entering bulgarian market. After the theoretical definition of the concepts and introduction to the problem, follows PESTL analysis of the business environment of Bulgaria. PESTL analyse individual parts of the business environment and reveals its peculiarties. SWOT analysis is created based on the PESTL analysis and is identifying the strenghts and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the country. The last chapter is focused on development of mutual economic relations between Bulgaria and the Czech Republic and provides information about perspective fields for Czech export and investment.
Brazil´s oil market

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the position of Brazil in the global oil market. The first chapter is focused on the basic characteristics of oil and trading with it. The second chapter deals with the current situation on the global oil market and clarifies the current development of its basic indicators. The third chapter deals with the change in Brazil's position on the global market, the impact of the oil industry on the domestic economy and the analysis of the current state of the Brazilian oil market.
