Electricity generation and renewable energy sources

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the issue of power generation. The aim is to introduce the kinds of resources for electricity production, their descriptions, advantages, disadvantages and its usability in the future. The work is composed of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is a summary of the scientific literature dealing with the production of electricity from currently available resources. The second part examines the knowledge of the respondents, mostly students from the Czech Republic, about the main and most used fuels for electricity production, awareness of renewable energy and which ones are preferred by the society. It is also examined whether people recognize the potential of individual types of resources for electricity production in future.

This bachelor work is devoted to the stock markets in the Czech Republic. The first part focuses on the definition of basic theoretical concepts of the stock market. It contains the definition of securities, such as stocks, bonds, bills and checks. Characterized by stock exchanges and stock market players. Systematise stock exchanges according to their focus. Defines the types of exchange trading systems. Practical part characterizes the basic features of the Prague Stock Exchange, a. s. and the RM-SYSTEM Czech Stock Exchange and is incorporated herein development of selected shares on these exchanges.

Expenses and consuption of the households

This dissertation refers in its preface to heterogeneity of expenses and consuption of the households in various periods of time. It applies to expenses and consuption of the households in the present, too. It mainly refers to information of the Czech statistical office and also to author's own research. The dissertation concentrates on the general assessment of the expenses and consuption of the households and it monitors the important increases and decreases of the expenses and consuption of the czech households according by various statistical methods. This dissertation compares the expenses and consuption of the households in the country with the expenses and consuption of the households in the cities and it delimits its mainly differences. A comparison with other states of the EU in expenses and consuption of the households is introduced as a matter of interest. All important findings are shown in the end of this dissertation and the presumptive development in the near future is sketched.

The development of housing prices in the Czech Republic

Bachelor´s thesis is concerned with the analysis of the development of housing prices in the Czech republic. First part of the thesis is devoted to characteristics of the real estate that are intended for living and individual forms of housing, including their andvantages and disadvantages. It also includes defining ownership and co-ownership right and delimit the activities of the Land Register Office. Second part is devoted to the real estate market, then the supply and demand and describe the factors influencing this market. Part of the final part of the thesis is an analysis of housing construction, the level of housing capacity and the development of housing prices in the Czech republic. At the conclusion of this chapter are given current trends in housing and marginally is mentioned the expected evolution of housing prices in the coming years.

Analysis of organic food market

My thesis is focused on the analysis of the organic food market in Prague 4 city.
The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the organic farming, its objectives and principles.
Furthermore, the thesis differentiates between conventional and organic farming, summarizes the history and development of organic farming and describes the development of financial support. The thesis in the theoretical part also describes the definitions of organic products, their labeling, inspection and marketing methods.
The practical part of the thesis contains statistical comparisons of the development of agricultural acreage, the number of farms in organic farming and compares the development of the organic food market in the Czech Republic.
Additionally, the practical part analyzes the market of organic food in town district Prague 4. The collected data is represented in tables and graphs. As a conclusion, the thesis proposes measures to develop the organic food market in selected parts of Prague city.

Trends of the Estate prices in the Czech Republic

The Diploma thesis named Trends of the Estate Prices in the Czech Republic is concerned with the analysis of the development of the real estate prices especially apartments and family houses. The main goal is to thoroughly analyse the evolution
of property prices within 10 years (2004-2014). Other goals include the impact of selected macroeconomic indicators on real estate prices, the impact of the financial crisis
and the view on the current situation in the real estate market. The most important terms and definitions related to actual real estate, ownership, Cadastre of Real Estate and real estate market are explained in the theoretical part. The practical part is divided into two sections. The first section includes a look at the development of the construction industry and housing construction , development of prices of residential property
and the development of prices compared with GDP, inflation, unemployment, income population, demographic development and abroad. Development of housing prices
is analysed by means of time series analysis and explained with expected development
of the real estate prices. The main goal of second section is analysis of the questionnaire, which focuses on the actual inhabitant. The aim of the questionnaire is to obtain
and comparison of indicators related to housing.

Spas and its role in tourism of the Czech Republic

The bachelor work is focused on the spas and its role in tourism of the Czech Republic. It describes current status of spas in the Czech Republic and analyse detailed description in the selected region. The work is divided into two main parts-theoretical and practical.
Theoretical part is created through literature search. First defines Czech tourism in general, i. e. typology, forms and associations, which are promoting and presenting tourism in worldwide. The next part is dedicated concretely spa tourism, where is described history of the spa of the Czech Republic and offered services to clients within this area. Further natural healing, which is used in our territory for therapy and also issue of reducing the costs of health insurance companies of branch spas and the associated lower attendance and employment.
Practical part is based primarily on a questionnaire survey consisting answers of 90 patients, who underwent treatment in Carlsbad.
Finally is assessed the current state of spa treatments and possible proposals which could improve the situation.

Electricity production and renewable energy sources

The theme of this bachelor thesis are Renewable Energy Sources in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part are described in detail the various sources of alternative energy. The practical part is devoted to the development of electricity production for the years 2005- 2014. Information about the production of energy allow you to calculate simple statistical indices that show how it develops the production from the point of view of time trends. The model example in the second practical part calculates the return on investment on the construction of wind power stations from 2016. Examines the period of return on investment, net present value and internal rate of return.

Traffic accidents in Czech Republic

The bachlors work deals with state and future of accidents in the Czech Republic during the years 2007 to 2015.
First the theory explains the concept and issues relating primarily to the safety of traffic accidents and influences, where it most likely is.
Another part is focused on the evaluation of the questionnaire and the analysis of individual indicators of traffic accidents, including deaths, or total material damages, which arise, when accidents occur.
Development accidents are analyzed and presented is graphs and tables, as well as time series analysis, from which it is implied predictions for 2016 and 2017.
Finally, we evaluated the knowledge and suggested measures that could reduce the actual road accidents to the Czech Republic.

Foreigners in the CR

The aim of this work is with the help of statistical methods to analyse data relating to foreigners in the Czech Republic. The main group for the study are representatives of the former Soviet Union. The work reflects the changes having taken place in the structure of foreigners in recent years, and also makes attempts to propose possible changes in the number of national and other indicators in the nearest future.
The theoretical part presents the basic terms related to this work such as migration, immigrant and others, it is followed by the classification of migration from different perspectives. In this part of the work attention is also paid to the history of world migration, its modern trends and tendencies, positive and negative aspects of the impact of migration as it is important to consider the issue in a broader context.
The practical part consists of the analysis of the data acquired and processed by the author, which deduce trends of indicators and their changes. At the end of this part, there are given the results of questioning about the migrants living in the Czech Republic, their position in the society and the problems associated with their residence in the Czech republic.
