Title: In-line tracks in the Central Bohemian Region Objective: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze conditions for recreational ride on in- line in the Central Bohemian Region, connected with cultural-cognitive component of tourism. Methods: This bachelor thesis is qualitative research and in this thesis have been used several methods. The method of literature review and analysis of professional documents for processing the theoretical basis of work, furthermore the participant observation based on predetermined criteria and parameters for the practical part of the thesis. Results: After personal crossing of all tracks a total of 67 tracks were evaluated as suitable for in-line skating in the Central Bohemian Region. There were 4 tracks longer than 10 km, 14 medium tracks which were long between 3 - 10 km and 49 short tracks with distance between 1 - 3 km. The whole-day trip which has fulfilled all parts of tourism was suggested on the route Poděbrady - Nymburk - Poděbrady 19. This track was 19 km long. Individualization pre-race microcycle for cross-country skiers

Title: Individualization of pre-race microcycle for cross-country skiers Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to estimate the appropriate load of selected competitors before the competition. Methods: The work is conceived as a case study. It is a quantitative research based on measured values obtained from the trainer Ercolina Upper Body Power. We estimated the appropriate load in pre-race microcycle of five elite cross-country skiers. Results: Collected data have prevented the pre-race microcycle to be identical for all competitors. Title: The training process analysis of Martin Jakš in 2010 - 2016 Objectives: The purpose of this study is to pedagogically evaluate the training process of Martin Jakš, the member of the Czech cross-country skiing team. Methods: This study is designed as a case study. The study addresses a qualitative research, which was based on an analysis of training process of an elite cross-country skier. Training indicators and sport physical examination were analyzed and assessed with regard to racer's performance in the studied term. Results: The results of this study showed a tendency to decrease of athlete's performance in the studied term. Development and trend popularity of skiing and snowboarding

Title Development and trend popularity of skiing and snowboarding. Main objective The main objective of this study was to explore the current situation in skiing and snowboarding trends. To try to predict where this winter sports industry is going to. Methods For my research I chose the method of questionnaire. Results were collected and statistically processed in the program called Google forms. Questionnaire contained 16 questions intended for respondents who are active skiers or snowboarders, or both. The questions were designed to allow only one answer or multiple choice. The survey was stored in electronic form on the website www.google.com, where they have accumulated a total of 1,095 questionnaires. 83 of them were obtained through personal contact and subsequently entered into the program. Mainly used the methods of this bachelor thesis are methods of analysis, induction, deduction, synthesis and questioning. The results The research results show that not only skiing, but also very modern snowboarding already has its culminating phase behind and slowly loses its supporters. Occurrence and Prevention of Asthma in Youth Division Cross-country Skiers

Title: Occurrence and Prevention of Asthma in Youth Division Cross-country Skiers Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to determine the incidence of asthma in youth division cross-country skiers and its prevention. Methods: This thesis will comprise the method of survey and content analysis of documents. Hypotheses: No.1 Assume that asthma will have lower prevalence in youth division cross- country skiers than in adult cross-country skiers. No.2 Assume that the majority of the surveyed cross-country skiing coaches met with asthmatic symptoms in their athletes. Results: We found that 12% of youth division athletes suffer from asthma and 24% from allergies. Comparison of selected parameters when skiing and snowboarding

Title: Comparison of selected parameters when skiing and snowboarding. Objectives: The aim of this work is to compare pulse rate and functioning speed while skiing and snowboarding in the slalom track. Methods: Statistical indicators used to calculate BMI (body mass index), pulse rate measuring using the Polar brand sport tester, the stopwatches to time the functioning speed, statistical methods to calculate the arithmetic average. Results: According to the results the hypothesis H1 was confirmed, so the functioning speed while skiing will be shorter than while snowboarding in the slalom track. In second hypothesis H2, the fact that the volume of strain while snowboarding is higher than while skiing in the slalom track did not confirm. Title: Analysis of general and specific physical conditioning tests in youth Nordic skiers and biathletes. Goal: The goal of thesis is judge the validity of individual general and specific physical conditioning tests in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and compare this way the youth categories in Nordic skiing and biathlon. Methods: From the test results of general and specific physical conditioning tests and results of the czech cup youth ranking as an index fo achievement in Nordic skiing and biathlon we did a correlation analysis to figure out the extent of dependence. With the help of correlation analysis we came to the conclusion that the tests in biathlon show stronger correlation to achievement than tests in Nordic skiing. Psychological preparation of cross country skiers

Title: Psychological preparation of cross country skier Aims: The aim of the thesis was to determine an attitude of cross-country skiers towards integrating a psychological preparation into their training proces and assess this approach for man and woman separately Methodology: This thesis was designed as a quantitative research using public inquiry. In order to compile anonymous survey, standardized closed questions were used. The selection of questions was based on multiple consultations with experts in the field of the psychology, methodology and cross-country skiing. The survey was sent to skiers of selected categories together with an introductory explanation. The cross-country skiers were contacted via e-mail or phone and they got detailed explanation of the procedure for completing the survey. The received data were statistically analyzed. Results: 50 athletes from 50 respondents have sent back the completed survey. Based on the results of the public inquiry, we can conclude that the majority of respondents expressed a positive attitude towards including the psychological preparation into their training process. The opinions about the need of a professional help differ based on the gender. Women appreciate the professional psychological help significantly more often than men. Keywords: cross...
