Sales Promotion and Advertising of Company

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of sales promotion and advertising of a company that deals with agricultural production. Marketing communication in the company is not thriving greatly, therefore based on this deficiency I will analyze the marketing communication, I will also pay attention to advertising and sales promotion which are part of the communication mix. At the end of this thesis, some solutions will be proposed to establish a closer relationship with the customers and the public of the community.

The begining of the thesis is about demography and about important information regarding elderly, their habitation, psychology, health and furniture features. Next, the thesis deals with market research. Survey in retirement homes has the goal find out features about furniture in retirement homes and find out information from clients and nursing personnel about satisfaction with furniture and requirements for furniture. In the end of thesis the informations are completely evaluate and used for create missing furniture element and create informative handout.
A view of the current techno scene through photojournalism

The practical part of this dissertation presents the current techno scene in Prague, Czech Republic. Techno as a relatively new genre of electronic dance music has gone through a wave of popularity in Prague over the past few years, but without the influence of established promoters. The photobook covers events organised by three collectives of young people, with a more extensive focus on one of them. They capture the euphoria of the night and subsequent morning fatigue as well as behind the scenes shots. The enclosed photo book shows photographs mainly from parties organised by Cukr. This collective of three young people has been active on Prague's scene for the past few years and its founders regularly run techno events. They change the location for each party, but organising events in places such as churches, theaters, abandoned banks or warehouses carries a risk - and sometimes things don't go according to plan. The theoretical part focuses on the history of techno, its cultural and musical context and the characteristics of nightlife photography through presenting the views of photographers such as Wolfgang Tillmans or Dave Swindells. Social business in agriculture and its impact on region development

The aim of the thesis is to introduce the concept of social entrepreneurship in agriculture and its impact on regional development, focus on objectives, rules and support of operation in this field, with special focus on regions where the organizations and associations that are engaged in this activity operates. The real data were collected using a questionnaire survey and structured interviews in the various organizations that resulted in evaluation of general understanding of activities in this field. The major result of the thesis is to get more information about job content of the organizations that are engaged in the social business in agriculture and demonstrate its value and potential for the future.
SWOT analysis of non profit organization

The aim of this thesis is to provide a SWOT analysis of the Via Foundation through which is detected potential opportunities and threats for the organization and its current strengths and weaknesses. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts, theoretical knowledge and the process itself concerning the creation of a SWOT analysis. The described methods are then used in the practical part on the example of the Via Foundation. To identify potential opportunities and threats from the external environment is used PEST analysis supported by time series analysis. For discovering potential of the organization in terms of strengths and weaknesses is used the evaluation of selected parameters of the organization as compared to the analogous organizations. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes important information obtained by this analysis and there are proposed recommendations for the organization.
Analysis of financing of the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic

This thesis focuses the financing of non-governmental organizations. The main part is devoted to financial sources which can use Czech non-profit organizations (NGOs). Fundraising is how NGOs get financial and non-financial support. The practical part consists of an analysis of financial sources and survey among NGOs. The aim is to analyze selected changes that influence non-profit organizations and their fundraising activities. An economic crisis had a significant impact on non-profit organizations. It has slightly changed the structure of financial resources. Although there was an increase in own revenues, government grants are still the dominant source. Importance of European funds also grows. The new Civil Code which came into force on 1 January, 2014 can strengthen individual and corporate donations.
Fundraising of non-profit cultural organizations

The bachelor thesis is dedicated to fundraising used in the non-profit organizations, that are engaged in cultural activities. Fundraising is an active recruitment of financial and non financial resources important for the existence of such organizations. First part of this work defines the non-profit sector, respectively non-profit cultural organizations and summarize the potential resources available for their funding. Further on, the thesis deals with the definition of the concept of fundraising and fundraising methods and their principles. The last part focuses on the examination of the specifics of the cultural non-profit sector and on fundraising approaches in diverse cultural organizations. The thesis as well includes survey of the public opinion, which aim to determine the attitude of people to donate to certain cultural organizations.
