FIŠER, Roman
SWAT teams of anti-riot police service are special formations of Police of the Czech Republic which are organizationally incorporated by Regional police directorate and by Regional police directorate of the capital Prague. It is a case of formations which activity flows mainly in accordance with the law No. 273/2008 Statute Book - Police of the Czech Republic and Internal Official Acts. These corps were established and still operate as special police device for the fight against dangerous armed offenders particularly weighty intentional criminal activity, organized criminal activity and against offenders who commit mass disturbance and breach of peace, last but not least against persons who endanger safety of people and possession. Due to disposed force and device they fulfill other tasks which aren´t solved by other police crops and if these ones try they could manage it only by using considerable effort or risk which flow from the peril of these offenders.Within the time these corps functioning by Police acquire such a position that nobody can imagine operating police corps without these ones mentioned. Of course it pays for future when SWAT teams play the irreplaceable role in the fight against criminal activity and for public protection against the offenders of the consequential criminal activity.
