The theme of this thesis is an analysis of Alcon Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Czech Republic, engaged in the sale and manufacture products for eye care on the basis of the marketing mix. My goal is to help improve the care of existing customers and find the best combination of funds that will lead to entirely new customer acquisition. In my work I focus mainly on the division of CLC (Contact Lenses Care).

Possibilities of Strengthening Motivation and Volition of People with Psychotic Disorders in Occupational Therapy

The thesis deals with the possibilities of influencing motivation and volition in patients with psychotic illness in occupational therapy. The aim of the thesis is to translate the Volitional Questionnaire and to verify its implementation in the Czech cultural environment. The theoretical part deals with the different theories of motivation and will in relation to occupational therapy, it primarily concentrates on the factors that create unique context of motivation and volition of an individual, as well as the possibilities to influence this context. The part further discusses the motivation and volition of the individual with psychotic illness. The theoretical section concludes with the Model of Human Occupation itself, the Volitional Questionnaire and the subsequent Remotivation Process. The practical part deals with the issue of back-translation of the Volitional Questionnaire and its implementation in the Czech environment. The questionnaire is evaluated by the author in predetermined areas, its use in health and community services is compared, and field notes taken during the testing of the questionnaire are also considered. Analysis of the existing bridge structure

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the existing bridge structure and the subsequent determination of its load capacity according to the limit states of serviceability and load capacity. The bridge on the H1 circuit over the V1 branch has a main superstructure consisting of IS-73 prestressed beams and was built in 1993. The calculation was grasped in two ways, namely by manual calculation on a single IS-73 beam or by converting it to an orthotropic slab.

Attitudes of children in the selected facility to the issue of their placement and their experiences with addictive substances

The thesis explores the attitudes of children in a selected residential school towards the issue of their placement and their experiences of substance abuse. The theoretical part presents the definition of the term addictive substances, including their division and prevention of use; children's home with school, discusses the reasons for the placement of children in this facility and prevention of risky behavior. The practical part presents an analysis of the reasons for the placement of children in a particular facility as well as an analysis of their experiences with addictive substances before their placement in the facility. The aim is to find out what attitude children placed in a children's home with school have to the issue of the reasons for their placement and to the use of addictive substances. On the basis of the evaluation, with the help of the analysis of the case files and interviews with the selected children and their teachers, a personal development programme for each participant, a prevention programme and a proposal for projects focused on addictive substances for the first and second grade of primary school are proposed. The Diploma thesis "Boutique Hotels Analysis" is focused on tourism and hotel industry in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part encompasses essential terms and pieces of knowledge in both sectors; the practical part is based on boutique hotel Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague. Provided services, position among competitive subjects in hotel industry market and satisfaction of staff are analyzed. Based on results, strategy for further development and suggestions for increasing competitiveness are recommended.

Evaluation of safety and smoothness of road traffic on roads in relation to passengers in the town of Veselí nd Lužnicí.

The topic of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the safety and smoothness of road traffic on roads in relation to passengers at BUS stops in the town of Veselí nad Lužnicí. The aim of the thesis was to identitfy the shortcomings of the existing BUS stops in the mentioned town from the point of view of road traffic safety on roads for their users, in my case for passengers. Furthermore, suitable measures were proposed to increase passenger safety and comfort of use of BUS stops, thus achieving a safer traffic area for all road users. For the completeness of the information provided, the viewing conditions of the intersections near the BUS stops were plotted and the proposed measures were evaluated from a safety, time and economic point of view. In order to achieve the above objectives, the theoretical part the thesis was mainly based on the analysis of availabe legislation and related literature on traffic engineering issues. In the practical part, research methods such as observation, analysis, induction and deduction were used to identify deficiencies at BUS stops and then to use methods of comparison, analogy, good practice or consultation with colleagues and experts in the field to propose appropriate measures leading to increased passengers safety at BUS stops. The diploma thesis can serve the town of Veselí nad Lužnicí as a background material for project documentation in the field of increasing road traffic safety, especially for passengers at BUS stops. The measure proposed by me and the principles of their implementation leading to the design of a safer traffic area, which can also be applied to BUS stops in other cities and towns municipalities throughout the Czech Republic.

Satisfaction with services as a factor of tourism development in the area of Prácheňsko

The bachelor thesis is aimed at identifying various types of factors that affect tourist´s satisfaction and analysing them. The main factors to be considered are the quality of the services offered in the Prácheňsko area and also the number of these services of the primary and secondary offer. These data were obtained using a questionnaire among tourists who visited this area in summer 2020 - the top of the season. Most of the tourists were from the Czech Republic and about thirty of them were foreigners. The questionnaire also compare the situation in Prácheňsko and South Bohemia as a whole. The collected data and their subsequent analysis is used for evaluating the current situation and for improving, both the quality of services and satisfaction. Consequently, a possible recommendation suggested in this thesis addresses the needs of this area of tourism. Evaluation of morning snacks in pupils of the 2nd grade of selected elementary school

The diploma thesis is focused on snacks of older school-age children. The main objective of the thesis is evaluate the real snacks of children of the 2nd grade of elementary school that they had on a particular day at school. The partial objectives are to evaluate the frequency and proportion of snacks of children, to evaluate the energy balance of snacks of the children interviewed, to evaluate the procedure or course of preparation of children's snacks, to assess the nutritional status of respondents. The work is processed in two parts, namely the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part presents and, above all, summarizes the knowledge about healthy eating of older school-age children. For this reason, the chapters deal with the specifics of eating of this target group, as well as the principles and errors in the nutrition of these children, the importance of the nutrition pyramid for childhood, the eating habits of children of this period. The practical part consists of three parts. The first part is devoted to the composition of school snacks and is examined from the analysis of dietary records that the children filled in and were further evaluated. Media Reprezentation of Gender-based Violence on Czech News Servers - the case study

My bachelor thesis, "The Representation of Gender-based Violence in Czech Media Outlets - A Case Study," deals with how selected Czech media outlets process the topic of gender-based violence in the context of a case study of former Czech politician Dominik Feri. It is based on the assumption that mass media raises the issues of public discussion and co- creates how the given topic will be discussed and how society will approach the given topic. In the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the role of media in society, their effects, and ways of constructing reality. It also analyzes the media representation of gender-based violence and the perception of this issue in Czech society. It also provides an overview of the context of the Dominik Feri affair. Using qualitative content analysis based on open and axial coding, the practical part of the thesis examines how the media constructs the topic of sexual harassment and violence in the case of influential men. Great Britain and the Concept of the Balance of Power at the Congress of Vienna

(in English): The bachelor thesis analyses the approach of Great Britain towards the balance of power concept and its subsequent application at the Congress of Vienna, 1814-1815. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess how this approach influenced the goals which Great Britain aimed to achieve and how it influenced its choice of allies. However it deals with the broader impact on the conduct of the Congress and its approach to selected questions too. The thesis is based mainly on editions of issued correspondence and analysis of modern historical monographs and articles primarily of anglosaxon provenience. The methods of international realtions and political history analyses are applied.
