Optical characterization of perovskite nanostructures
Urban, Jakub ; Kvapil, Michal (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
The present bachelor's thesis focuses on the optical characterization of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals ranking among the group of materials called perovskites which are remarkable for their high photoluminescence (PL) quantum yield. An algorithm for a correlation of experimental data measured by PL mapping with morphological and topological properties obtained by using Scanning Electron Microscopy and Atomic Force Microscopy has been developed which clears the way for a particular crystal detection and their spectrum analysis. Specifically, crystals the shape of which can be approximated by a cuboid have been detected and the volume dependence of the centre of mass of their PL, which is proportional to V^(-2/3) as predicted by the theorethical model, has been discovered. The measurement of PL dependency on temperatures ranging from 40 to 60 °C has also been conducted and in this temperature interval linear dependence of the full width at half maximum of their PL spectral line that rises with rising temperature has been confirmed. On the contrary, the centre of mass of PL has been found to be temperature independent.
Measurement of the local phase of metasurfaces using digital holographic microscopy
Weiss, Vlastimil ; Bouchal, Petr (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis consists of research studies of optical metasurfaces that are capable of modifying and governing incident radiation via the shift of a local phase. It also discusses experimental microscopic techniques with the ability to measure the distribution of the said phase. Experimental results of the phase distribution of the electromagnetic wave impinging on metal metasurface presented in this thesis are captured through quantitative in-line and off-axis digital holographic microscopy. These metasurfaces utilize both geometrical phase and localised surface plasmon resonance (LSPR). Measured results are in accordance with previous scientific studies. Finally, the successful outcome in the form of measurement of the geometrical phase introduced by the single building block is presented as well as the application of an analytical model for characterization of phase response generated by interaction with optical metasurfaces.
Planar brainteasers and their application to increase mathematical literacy of special educational needs children
Brázdová, Barbora ; Kloboučková, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Dvořák, Petr (referee)
Key words: Pentominoes Tangram Affine mapping Special educational needs pupils Orientation of flat Resume: My thesis deals with different ways of use of Pentominoes and Tangram brain-teasers in teaching of mathematics to special educational needs pupils. In the theoretical part I introduced these brain-teasers, I explained affine mapping using their particular pieces, I analysed similar tasks in mathematics textbooks for 6 to 10-year-olds and pointed out the issues of special educational needs pupils. In the practical part I described a few lessons of experimental education with six pupils of practical basic school. In the first year we dealt with Tangram brain-teaser. We made the separate pieces of paper, we handled wooden cubes and used Tangram pictures for development of visual perception and approximation of affine mapping. The next year the pupils schemed out their Pentominoes cubes first and then they worked with them. They drew them in a grid, built pictures, played a game for two etc. At the end I summarised my thesis and I evaluated it.
Circle inverse and its utilization
Vach, Petr ; Zhouf, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Dvořák, Petr (referee)
The objective of this paper is to make reader acquainted with the depiction known as ring inversion. A definition of the depiction set forth in the introduction and a subsequent description including proofs of all characteristics of this depiction in two planes, namely a synthetic and an analytic plane with a complex variable, shall enable a reader to solve problems and tasks which are contained in the second part of this paper. The aim of this work is to familiarize a reader with the ring inversion in such a degree so that he will understand all of the characteristics and will be able to make use of this knowledge not only to solve theoretical problems but also in practice.
Implementation of the Integrated Development Platform (IDP)
Dvořák, Petr ; Richta, Karel (advisor) ; Žemlička, Michal (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to design and develop a unified application for installation and integration of the software management tools into a single comprehensive and functional unit. The application should also allow export of the project metadata via the RESTful API. The goals of the thesis were fulfilled relatively well. A set of installation scripts was created, as well as a functional web application built using the JavaEE platform. The application can be deployed in a small company after performing minor modifications. Less common deployment scenarios for CGI based applications on Apache Tomcat were also examined. Minor enhancements in the open-source project NetBeans were implemented as well. Also, a branded version of Bugzilla was created and deployed in an existing small software company.
Ownership of flats
Dvořák, Petr ; Salač, Josef (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jan (referee)
73 The flat ownership The flat ownership institute has found its feet within the Czech Republic and is experiencing a boom, despite the not perfect legal regulations. The topicality of this issue and practical experiences in aplication of legal regulation of flat ownership institute have been the decisive factor when thinking over which topic of my Diploma Thesis to choose. In this Work, I have tried to describe the existing German legal regulations of the flat ownership that has significantly been changed following the 2007 amendment and that evidently has not been noticed by the professional public so far, which is why theses expressed earlier by others are often repeated in literature and articles. That is why I hope my Work will help readers form a picture of the real state of the German legal regulations. Our legislator could also be inspired with some things and include them in his new bill on flat ownership. The Work further includes a description of the Czech legal regulations of the flat ownership and problems arising when applied that are partly caused by the ignorance of the law and, to some extent, by the imperfection of the legal regulations. As mentioned above, the flat ownership issue is related to considerable part of the Czech population, which is why it is necessary these arising relations...
Interactive textbook of descriptive geometry
Krsová, Michaela ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor) ; Zhouf, Jaroslav (referee)
An aim of this diploma thesis is to create interactive descriptive geometry coursebook. As a basis for coursebook creation was used "Present State of Descriptive Geometry Education on High Schools Survey" which was proceeded via questionnaire. Before the creation of coursebook itself were made analyses of accessible textbooks, geometric softwares in use and possible environments for coursebook content presentation. A result is integrated part of subject matter taught on high schools complemented by solved examples and interactive applets created in software GeoGebra. The coursebook content is presented in a form of HTML sites on a public website http://www.sadsam.cz/dg/ and also as an off- line version on DVD disc enclosed.
Selected objects in non-euclidian metrics
Bruna, Jiří ; Zhouf, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Dvořák, Petr (referee)
This bachelor thesis studies the shape of a circle, ellipse, hyperbola and parabola in the taxicab metric, using elementary mathematical methods. It thus constitutes a material suitable for the study of this topic without special requirements regarding knowledge in the field of mathematics on the part of the reader. There is a number of illustrations accompanying the text, most of them created using GeoGebra software. Major hypotheses concerning the shape of the above mentioned objects are supplied with a proof. With its scope and margin, the paper represents a unique work in mathematical literature written in the Czech language at the time of its creation. The secondary benefit of the development of an open mind is mentioned as well.
Nature and solution of solutionless problems with special regard to Buddhism
Šmilauer, Václav ; Bockover, Mary I. (advisor) ; Dvořák, Petr (referee)
