Blue Ocean Strategy

The subject of my bachelor's thesis is "Blue Ocean Strategy". The main goal of this work is to explain the problems of Blue Ocean Strategy, which is the actual trend in the market. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part describes what it is competitiveness, competitive advantage, Porter's five forces model and its competitive strategies further build on the Blue Ocean Strategy, value innovation, analytical tools and system framework of strategy and attributes that well-developed Blue Ocean Strategy must have. In the practical part then I will focus on the application of Blue Ocean Strategy on the example of the emerging sports center in the Jindrichuv Hradec, using analytical tools and system frameworks of this strategy.

Bachelor thesis on the topic Money Illusion and Sunk Costs deals with irrational behaviour of individuals, or more precisely with effects, which cause such behaviour. Namely, it is the case of phenomenons of money illusion and taking sunk costs into account. The main purpose of the thesis is to summarize theoretical knowledge about the phenomenons and subsequently, using the experiment, apply and verify gained theoretical knowledge on representative sample of individuals.

The aim of the thesis is the evaluation of the opportunity of a small Czech brewery to enter the market in the United Kingdom. To analyze the environment and the situation in the United Kingdom is used 4C method, which is aimed to explore the UK market in terms of national characteristics, customers, competitors and costs. After that on the basis of this analysis to evaluate, or recommend a brewery expansion into the UK market.

The topic of my diploma thesis is business plan. The theoretical part of the thesis contains requirements and methods used in analysis of external and internal environment of the company. Second, practical part, elaborates business and financial plan of minidairy in Dlouhá Ves. There is evaluation of various results in the conclusion of the thesis. The conclusion also contains my recommendation what should company focus on, to gain better achievements.

Strategic Analysis of a Construction Company

The main aim of this diploma thesis is a strategic analysis of a construction company. It is divided into several parts, where the first, theoretical, part explains the fundaments of strategic analysis and clarifies the principles of methods applied. The other, analytical, part of the thesis applies the mentioned theoretical knowledge onto an existing construction company. The PESTEL analysis has been used to analyze the external environment. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the internal environment of the company -- namely its marketing mix and financial situation. The findings of those analyses are summarized through a simplified SWOT analysis, which leads to a proposal of a strategy, and furthermore proposes operative, tactical and strategic measures which would support the strengths and opportunities and minimize the weaknesses and threats of the Isolite, spol. s r. o. company.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the role of project manager, focused on the creation of landscape elements, avenue, from the inception of intention, throught processing of the project for the creation of conditions (gaining the financial aid) for its implementation within the local community. The theoretical part introduces the reader to the main terms of this issue, the practical part presents an analysis of the given village, description of the project, set opportunities of village utilizable of implementation of the plantation and introduces the steps in the field of information and finding out citizens' motivation in helping the realization of the project.

In conclusion, the thesis is focused on the specific outputs strategic analysis along with the proposal of recommendations, which should contribute to a successful development of a new branch of the described personnel agency.
