Application of monosubstituted cyclodextrins in chiral separation of omeprazole by capillary electrophoresis
Dvořák, Aleš ; Coufal, Pavel (referee) ; Čabala, Radomír (advisor)
Chiral separation of omeprazole was the subject of this work. Five diferent monosubstituted derivatives of α- and β-cyclodextrins, two of them cationic and three anionics, were used as chiral selectors in various buffers of different pH. The influence of CD and buffer concentrations on chiral separation was studied. Voltage of 25 kV, UV detection in the range from 202 to 303 nm and constant temperature of 20 řC was used for all measurements. Concentration of CDs between 0 and 7 mmol.l-1 was used. Fused silica capillary of 50 µm ID and 375 µm OD, 48,5 cm total and 40 cm effective lenght was used as separation capillary. Dimethylformamide was used in stock solution of omeprazole as solvent, and was simultaneously applied as EOF marker. Succesfull chiral separation of omeprazole was achieved under the application of 2'-O-carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin (2'-CM-β-CD) and mono-6-deoxy-6-N,N,N',N',N'-pentamethylethylendiammonio- cyclomaltoheptaose dichloride (PEMEDA-β-CD) where the resolution of 1,42 (pH = 5,1) and 4,29 (pH = 11,1) was measured, respectively.
Sound-aesthetic conceptcs in chamber acoustic jazz
Košulič, Jan ; DVOŘÁK, Aleš (advisor) ; PINKAS, Martin (referee)
The aim of presented work is the sound - aesthetic concept recordings of chamber jazz recordings. The work defines various criteria that can be used to issue of the aesthetic concept of jazz recordings. Several selected significant, settled and success in the music market-proven aesthetic concepts are briefly analyzed. The core of the work is the practical implementation of various aesthetic concepts in recording jazz music. Qualitative research, the results of this work presents were obtained from observations supplemented by discussions in the focus group consisting of jazz musicians. The work provides information about the views of musicians on each part of the process of recording jazz music and practical experience and knowledge based on a series of jazz recording. It also deals with the issue of communication between musicians and sound engineers. A sub- goal which work fulfilled is the opening of the debate over sound - aesthetic issues among jazz musicians and sound engineers.
Current situation of loudness of sound signals
Kravařík, Jindřich ; URBAN, Ondřej (advisor) ; DVOŘÁK, Aleš (referee)
The topic of this thesis is the permanently worsening situation in the area of loudness and dynamic range of sound signals being delivered to customers, both on classic media and in broadcast. It discusses the reasons and consequences of the current situation. These problems are global and they have impact on every listener and viewer. Extremely varying loudness of broadcast and terrifying state of some records being published at big media houses are a target of complaints for a long time. At the time of writing, solutions to improve the situation are finally emerging. These solutions are evaluated in the last part of this thesis and using them examples of improperly treated dynamics are given.
Steam boiler with grate firing burning mix coal and wood (mixing ratio 30/70-wood)
Dvořák, Aleš ; Kohout, Přemysl (referee) ; Skála, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma work attends to presentation of steam grid boiler for wood and brown coal burning in scale (30/70-wood) in load 60t/h, with parametres of outgoing vapour p=7MPa, t=490°C. The work is splitted to several chapters. At the beginning I’m going to make stechiometric calculation and entalpic calculations of air and compustion gas. After that I’m going to calculate heat balance, losses of boiler and set heat efficiency of boiler. Then I’m going to suggest combustion chamber of boiler and make heat calculation. After suggestion of combustion chamber I’m going to set proportions of pulls and heat-delivery surface. In last chapter I’m giong to check heat balance. Inclosure of my work contains drawing documentation of steam boiler.
Nuclear safety and inspection authorities
Dvořák, Aleš ; Nerud, Pavel (referee) ; Šen, Hugo (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with nuclear safety. The target of it is to convince regular people, that nuclear power plants are safe for them as well as for the enviroment. Thesis describes the supervisory authority, which oversees the safe operation of nuclear power plants. You find out about improvements in safety features in future projects. You can obtain information about possible stress of materials used in nuclear power plant, radioactive waste and impact of dangerous radionuclids on enviroment. The theses clearly shows that the claims on nuclear safety aren’t constant, but they have increasing trend during the time.
Inspection authorities of nuclear safety in the world and their purpose
Dvořák, Aleš ; Nerud, Pavel (referee) ; Šen, Hugo (advisor)
This thesis deals with issues of nuclear safety. The first section provides an overview of international organizations and associations, which control via their activities all regulations concerning nuclear safety, the technical state of equipments and systems in nuclear power plants. The second part deals with technical description of important equipment and systems of the nuclear powerplants at chosen nuclear reactors of II. and III. generation. The last part explains the conception of nuclear safety deeply. The reader can gain a deep overview of the different levels of protection and attention is also paid to the methods that contribute to the evaluation of nuclear safety.
Sound Space in Radio Drama
Mikyška, Tomáš ; Pinkas, Martin (advisor) ; Dvořák, Aleš (referee)
This work is dealt with radio drama - its sound body. Particularly it examines phenomenon of virtual sound space from the listeners´ point of view, as well as from the point of view of sound engineer (or director) who is very familiar with all the working process. However auditive production means complex system. Once the realization is initiated, the author has to think over both the physical substance of sound and the dramaturgic aim. As well as aesthetical aspect. This combination only leads to the successful produce. There is also a short introduce to a suppositional situation of radio drama into the future
The specification of studio recording of lute musical instruments
Skuhrovec, Filip ; Dvořák, Aleš (advisor) ; Urban, Ondřej (referee)
The thesis deals with the specification of lute recording from several perspectives. One is primarily focused on technical factors of the recording and finding the optimal sound color of the instrument. The other perspective is dedicated more to philosophy of the record and effort of finding the optimal space for a lute in terms of the historic context.
Placing microphones to acoustic instruments during the live performances
Kunčar, Pavel ; Urban, Ondřej (advisor) ; Dvořák, Aleš (referee) ; Kulhan, Miloslav (referee)
This thesis talks about placing microphones to acoustic musical instruments during the live performances. There are discussed the main practical reasons for the differences between the work in the recording studio and on the stage.
