Financial analysis of producer non-alcoholic drinks

This thesis in considered on financial analysis of nine most important companies which are interested in production of non-alcoholic drinks in Czech republic. Most of them are subsidiaries of global corporations. In thesis is processed spatial resolution of this field in years 2008 and 2009. First part deals with methodology of spatial resolution (Spider analysis). Next is about the field of non-alcoholic drinks. In analysis were compared years 2008 and 2009 and the values of indicators and their change during the time and also competitiveness of the companies in 2009. Conclusion is global table and comments to each company and their result in Spider analysis.

Financial analysis and public contracts influence on SIGNALBAU a.s. and its economy

The Bachelor thesis deals with financial analysis and influence of public contracts on SIGNALBAU, a. s., in period between 1. 7. 2004 and 30. 6. 2010. Company falls under building industry and its main focus is on construction and reparation of railroad safety engineering in Czech republic and abroad. The first, methodological part, contains general explanation of financial analysis and basic terms connected with problem of public contracts. The actual execution of financial analysis is done in the second part of the thesis, where I evaluate financial health of the company and compare it to its competition, Trakce, a. s. The conclusion is dedicated to measure the influence of public contracts on company's economy and management.

Financial analysis of Spanish companies with an emphasis on their evaluation according to selected sectors and autonomous regions

This thesis involves the financial analysis of spanish companies with an emphasis on their evaluation according to selected sectors and autonomous regions. For the purpose of the evaluation the indicators of profitability, turnover, liquidity and indebtedness are used. The autonomous regions are firstly evaluated from the point of view of the revenues of the individual sectors as part of the total turnover for the region. These practical parts are supplemented by the general but also economic characteristics of Spain. The conclusion reached following the evaluation of the individual indicators is that the most sucessful sectors are "DC -- Manufacture of leather and leather products", "DK -- Manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c." and "DL -- Manufacture of electrical and optical equipment". In contrast the sectors "A -- Agricultural, hunting and forestry" and "B -- Fishing" were the least sucessful. In addition it was found, that in general, the greatest share of the revenues of the autonomous regions were in the sectors "F -- Construction", "DA -- Manufacture of food products, beverages and tobacco" and "DJ -- Manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products". In contrast the sectors of "B --fishing" and "CA -- Mining and quarrying of energy producing materials" contribute the least in terms of revenues. The greatest absolute revenue values are achieved in the autonomous region of Madrid, followed by the regions of Cataluňa and País Vasco. In contrast the Extremadura region had the lowest revenues.

Financial analysis of companies operating multiplex cinemas

Financial analysis gives a comprehensive picture of company's financial situation. This thesis is focused on financial analysis of a specific company, which operates multiplex cinemas. Subsequently, this work compares obtained results with the largest competitors in the Czech republic. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first one methodically describes the indicators of financial analysis. In the second one these indicators are applied to CineStar Company Ltd., the largest company engaged in our cinema business. In the third part, this company is compared with its major competitors.

Financial analysis and outline of future development of Czech airlines j.s.c.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to perform financial analysis and to outline the future development of Czech airlines j.s.c. This work is divided into two main parts, the methodical and practical part. The methodical part contains theoretical definition of financial analysis, the sources from which the data were gathered and the financial indicators which were used to compile the financial analysis. The practical part uses the knowledge gained from the first part and applies it on Czech airlines. The resulting values are commented on and some of them are compared with the other companies in this field. The conclusion of this work includes the evaluation of the whole financial situation of the company and also the outline of its future development.

Financial analysis of zoological gardens - comparison ZOO Dvůr Králové, a. s. with selected companies

The content of this work is to undertake a financial analysis of a particular company and its comparison with selected foreign companies. This thesis is divided in two parts. The first part of this work is methodological, there are defined methods of financial analysis and indicators, together with methods of calculation. In the second part which is practical there are applied the procedures and methods of financial analysis for ZOO Dvůr Králové Inc. The values of some parameters are compared with 10 European companies. There is also a description, comments and interpretations of these results. Graphs and tables provide better orientation in problems.

Analysis of financial management of Czech industrial firms from 2002 to 2006.

The aim of this thesis is to execute a financial analysis of the Czech industry from 2002 to 2006. The fundamental categories of indicators were analysed - profitability, activity, cost, debt and liqudity ratios. The analysis wasnt executed only for the whole industry but for its branches divided by NACE classification. The outcome of my research is a statement that all fundamental categories of indicators developed positively. The most obvious positive development can be observed at return on assets which was caused by shortening of assets turnover and increasing of return on revenues. Furthermore, the improvement of debt and liquidity ratios of Czech industrial firms indicates that during the analysed time period the financial stability was increased.

Financial analysis of Spanish companies

This thesis focuses on the financial analysis of selected industrial sectors in the Spanish economy. For the purposes of analysis the following indicators are used: return on assets, return on equity, inventory turnover, receivables and payables turnover ratios and trade gap derived from them. Then indicators of current ratio, acid test ratio, cash ratio and working capital are analyzed. Finally the thesis includes indicators of creditor's risk, interest coverage and total cost and expenses per revenues. A further part of the thesis is dedicated to the peculiarities of the Spanish economy and the studies of changes in the unemployment rate and gross domestic product. A significant part is devoted to particular sectors of economy. Spanish exports and imports are presented by means of the balance of payments. After interpretation of all calculated indicators the following conclusion has expressed: the best performing sectors are the manufacture of coke, refined petroleum products and nuclear fuel followed by sector of construction. On the other hand traditional Spanish fishing, fish farming and related service activities were found to be the worst performing sectors.

Analýza státních fondů v České republice

Diplomová práce analyzuje postavení státních fondů ve veřejné rozpočtové soustavě. První kapitola obsahuje vysvětlení pojmu fond, obecnou charakteristiku státních fondů, vymezení jejich výhod a nevýhod. Další kapitoly se věnují jednotlivým fondům, které existují v současné době (1. polovina roku 2007) v České republice. Je dodržena stejná struktura: charakteristika fondu, podporované programy a pravidla pro čerpání prostředků, hospodaření fondu. Cílem je rovněž nastínění budoucího vývoje daného fondu a zvýšení informovanosti o této problematice u širší veřejnosti.
