This Bachelor`s thesis focus is the assessment of financial indicators through time series and regression line of the chosen company. Theoretical part consists of definitions and mathematical calculations for the chosen financial indicators, regressions analysis, and time series. In the second part, the theoretical knowledge will be applied to the chosen company, starting with the calculations of financial indicators and applications of statistical methods thereafter. Finally, recommendations will be presented to try and help with the company`s situation based on the analysis made beforehand.

This bachelor’s thesis deals with analysis of Profidebt, s. r. o. company from the financial point of view between 2006 and 2010. In the practical part, there are considered economic ratios in terms of activity, profitability, liquidity, risk of bankruptcy and management, compared in period of five years. The selected ratios, in a form of time series, are subjected to regression analysis, and afterwards there is a prediction of development based on appropriately chosen functions. Together with the evaluation also recommends more effective processes in particular areas of financial management and application of methods in financial health monitoring. At the end it suggests possible ways of future improvement and growth.

Marketing Strategy of the Selected Company

The purpose of the master's thesis "Marketing Strategy of the Selected Company" is to propose a marketing strategy for a selected IT company. The theoretical part deals with small and medium companies, their definition and limitations, as well as strategic analysis, marketing strategy and marketing research. The analytical part provides an analysis of the selected company, which is focused on external and internal environment of the selected IT company. Based on this analysis a SWOT analysis is performed. Then quantitative research is performed and afterwards a specific marketing strategy is proposed based on the analytical part and quantitative research. At the end of the work, the contribution of the proposals is evaluated.

This diploma thesis analyses the financial situation of TIEFENBACH s. r. o. company within the years 2007 – 2014, by selected indicators of the financial analysis. The values of indicators will be arranged in time series and, by using a regressive analysis, the trend and development will be estimated. The thesis also includes proposals of solutions for identified problems which should result in improvement of the financial situation of the company in the following years.

The topic of Bachelor's thesis "Application of statistical methods for trading in the currency and commodity market" is a practical utilization of statistical methods, also known under the term "technical analysis", for trading in financial or commodity market. Thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter contains theoretical ground for understanding the practical part. The second chapter contains the execution of simulation of strategies on historical data. In the final chapter of the thesis, a suggestion for improvement of the results is placed. The thesis aims to evaluate the results of strategies and proposes suggestions for their improvement.
