Project Proposal of the Logistics Centre Establishment

The diploma thesis is devoted to the problem of project management. It is a project proposal of the logistics centre establishment in the company KRÁLOVOPOLSKÁ, a.s. To develop the project proposal, there are used project management methods and techniques. The theoretical part deals with the basic methods, techniques and knowledge of project management, which are then practically used in the analytical and design part. First, the company is introduced, then the project opportunity validation and feasibility assessment is developed, and then the actual project design is developed. This part consists of time analysis, resource analysis, risk analysis and project cost analysis. Microsoft Project is used to develop the time analysis. And last but not least, the thesis includes the benefits of the proposed solutions.

Project Risk Management in an International Company

The diploma thesis introduces processing of an analysis that is realized within an engineering company that had decided to transfer its production from Nordic countries such as Norway and Sweden to the Czech Republic. The company decided to deal with the transfer without any use of project management and planning according to project management and its techniques. Therefore the diploma thesis is supposed to present how the project could look like if it was done by project methodology. The main parts of project are analysis of time, sources, costs and risk analysis. These are preceded by situation analysis which is resulted into SWOT. Factors mentioned in SWOT are used as inputs into risk analysis. Subsequently the risks are identified, evaluated and the proposals for reducing the risks are presented.

The Use of Methods of the Project Management in Practice in IT Projects

The bachelor‘s thesis approaches the use of project management methods in practice, specifically in the implementation of a new information system in a church non-profit organization. The introductory part is devoted to the theoretical basis of the thesis, which are then used in the practical section. The analytical section deals with the current project management of the organization and some of the analyzes used in the pre-project phase of the project. The analytical part is followed by the practical section, which draws on the performed analyzes and used methods and submits a proposal for the solution of project management applicable in the future.

Diplomová práce se zabývá procesem vyhodnocování či poučení se z projektů, patřící mezi procesy projektového managementu, které umožňují projektovým manažerům zefektivňovat budoucí projekty. V této práci je využito teoretických znalostí a důkladné analýzy projektového prostředí a aktuální úrovně daného procesu pro vytvoření návrhu řešení, který cílí na odstranění identifikovaných nedostatků za účelem zefektivnění celého procesu.

The Use of Linear Programming for Optimization of Advertising Cost

The aim of this thesis is to analyse processes, which take place in the company in relation to optimization of advertising costs. Theoretical basis, basic concepts, methods, procedures and linear programming used for optimization will be defined in the theoretical part of the work. Subsequently, the Reporter element will be presented as a Microsoft Excel support element. The company, its main business targets and the problems that occur in the enterprise will be introduced in the analytical part. The last part will consist of models created by myself, my own suggestions of solutions and the results will be interpreted by the tool Solver.

Risk Management of Business Entity

The thesis deals with risk management of business entity, which provides services in field of education officials. Risk management proces consists of several parts, such as identification, analysis and risks reduction. All of these parts, including basic concepts, are described in the theoretical part. In the analytical part there are methods, which are using for identification potential risks. It include SLEPT analysis, Porter analysis and 7S model, then comes SWOT analysis. Based on these analyzes are proposed measures and recommendations that will help reduce risks.

The proposition of alternate is solution of initial project for the housing cooperatives Radlas 16, specifically reconstruction of the house. The main objective of the cooperative is to get the building to the state housing more comfortable and extend the building of the attic.

In the Master’s thesis I am deal with the proposal of sophisticated method for suppliers rating. The thesis analyses the supply environment of business company and characterizes the problems related to suppliers rating and choosing. The object of my Master’s thesis is the elaboration of the models for suppliers rating on the basis of fuzzy logic. These models should successfully solve the questions of suppliers rating as suitable method for minimizing of risk of suppliers.

Risk Management of the Payment Process Optimization Project

This diploma thesis deals with the risk management in the payment process optimization project. To fulfill the main objective, the norm ČSN ISO 31000:2009 was followed. In the preparation phase for the analysis of the risks were used strategic, scheduling, resource, and cost analysis. Based on the results from these methods, the project risks were identified. Qualitative approach was used in the quantitative phase. Next, the corrective measures were suggested. In the last part, a process of risks monitoring is proposed.
