Prenatal, natal and postnatal care issues with a focus on Vietnamese women

The thesis is focused on issues concerning prenatal, natal and postnatal medical care, which is being provided to Vietnamese women. The core subject of the research is defined as "How do the Vietnamese women reflect upon or respond to health care which is ordinarily provided to them during the pregnancy and labor period as well as the postnatal stage in the Czech republic?" The objective was not just to find out how do the Vietnamese women reflect upon their experience with the care they receive, but also to investigate factors, which could have an effect on their perception and experience. The body of the thesis is divided into a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is devoted to a brief description of the background of the Vietnamese women, including their culture, traditions and the health care system. Different traditions associated with the pregnancy, labor, and postnatal period are described in a separate chapter. It should be noted that findings gathered from expert literature have been enriched with information which comes directly from the author's own research. This part of the thesis is then followed by a short treatise about the history of Vietnamese immigration to our country and the last chapter deals with the system of payments for health care in the Czech Republic,...

Primary school integration of the handicapped child

Petra Doležalová Abstract The diploma dissertation is focused on an integration a handicapped child into the conventional elementary school class. There is a theoretical part concerning an integration problem in my dissertation. It specifies conditions which determin integration from the viewpoint of legislative, economic, pedagogical, psychological, family and public conditions. The practical part is focused on a specific case of integration. The results are from the three years of observation and evaluation the results. The results were found with the aid of questionnairies, interview-based assesments and documents analyses. There are summarized all found researches in the conclusion of the diploma dissertation. There are also described positives and negatives of integration for all participated persons. Coating properties of cutting tools carbide

Diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is focused on theoretical description of coating methods, on currently used coatings, their properties and it is also focused on description of methods, which are used for analyzing each property. The second part focuses on testing of coatings and analyzing of the values obtained from experiments. The aim of this thesis is then to compare the properties of the tested coatings.

Cutting materials of sintered Carbides end their heat Resistance

One of the fundamental properties of cemented carbides is their resistance to forming and spreading cracks under the thermal stress. The bachelor’s thesis is focused on description of known technological methods that are used for testing of thermal fatigue of materials made by cemented carbides. Part of the bachelor’s thesis is also the description of the thermal fatigue, characterization of the appearance and orientation of cracks that occur in cemented carbides, according to the distribution of the thermal field. Last but not least, the bachelor’s thesis contains the information concerning the problematic of cemented carbides and about their constituents, technology of production and their application.

Dimensions of the problem indebtedness of the populatin in the Czech Republic after 2000

My bachelor thesis deals with the explanation of basic terms related to the debt issue. Among the basic concepts which the work is engaged, eg. Financial literacy, usury, execution, poverty, etc. in my bachelor work closely learn about with the causes of debt, debt prevention and consequences of debt. This work also deals with social work with debtors and introduces us to a debt-vulnerable group of people. The thesis analyzes the problem of indebtedness of the population in the Czech Republic after 2000. The problem is elaborated after 2000 because of the increase in non-financial institutions in the market in the Czech Republic, which brought negative economic and social problems which are mutually intertwined.

Changes in the age structure of the economically active population

In my bachelor thesis I devote mainly to changes in the age structure of the economically active population of the Czech Republic and the anticipated impacts on our labor market. I use not only the studies carried out by the EU Commission and mention the solution of this problem in the other European Union countries. In the first part of this work I describe the basic demographic indicators, which have a considerable influence on the structural changes. These include the extending particularly life expectancy, as well as fertility rate, mortality rate and finally migration rate. In the second part I focus on the labor market of the Czech Republic and especially to a group of economically active population. I also talk about the economic inactivity and increasing number of students of universities and higher vocational schools. As a practical example I mention the situation in one of the economic organizations, where I focused primarily on the position of managers and employees themselves to the problem of demographic aging. Finally, I deal with the status of the European Union to a problem with changing age structure of the economically active population , where I present the recommended reform of the EU Commission. At the end, I describe the reforms in Germany in the last 20 years that solved the problems with the pension reform and pension system, which might be an example of our governments.

American cultural standards

The aim of this thesis "American cultural standards" is the identification and explanation of cultural standards typical for American culture and the creation of practical guide of Work and Travel program. American cultural standards are defined according to the interviews with Czech participants in the program Work and Travel USA and my own experience. The cultural standards clearly and concisely indicate the essential differences between American and Czech culture. The thesis also includes advice and recommendations for more effective communication with Americans. The thesis also contains an introduction into intercultural management and methodology of cultural dimensions and standards and their most popular representatives. The thesis is recommended to all who want to be more familiar with American culture or who plan to cooperate with the Americans. The thesis will be most useful for students who plan to participate in the program Work and Travel USA.

The protection of consumer in tourism

The thesis is focused on protecting consumers and tour operators and travel agencies. The basic aim is to analyze consumer awareness of their rights and obligations arising from the travel contract and general terms and conditions. A sub-goal is to determine the perception of ITQ Code (International Travel Quality), both by consumer and by the tour operator. For the analysis was selected questionnaire survey. The results of the investigation pointed to the fact that consumers are not satisfied with the failure of contractual obligations and are determined to pursue their legal rights. On the other hand, many do not read or terms and conditions. Questions focused on the ITQ Code, which specifies exactly complaints procedure and compensation system, revealed that consumers would welcome such a product and it take into account the selection of a tour operator, but more than half of this Code, still heard.

Research on Quality of Education Officers Czech Insurance Company Counters in the South Moravia Region

This diploma thesis concerned with questions of education of officers of cash counters Česká pojišťovna a.s. The main aim of the work was to analyse current and suggest suitable education for this distributive channel of corporation Česká pojišťovna a.s. It is discussed about such activities which would lead to innovation of quality of education and following increasing and upgrading distribution of portfolios of products of the corporation. I structured the diploma thesis into two parts. In the first theoretical part I focused on definition of basic terms dealing with the theme of this work. The characterization of basic terms should contribute to introduction into the questions and familiarized with all sorts of opinions, attitudes and knowledge of education. In the second part I characterized Česká pojišťovna a.s. and next the present situation in educational activities which are applied in the corporation in Southern Moravia in cash counters net. In the finale of practical part is suggested arrangements and recommendation for innovation quality of education in the cash counters net in Southern Moravia in Česká pojišťovna a.s.
