The Prevention of Youth Criminality

This work deals with activities of three projects connected with the prevention of criminality generally and problems of criminality of young people. In the first chapter terms and prevention of criminality are described. The second chapter describes briefly criminality evolution of young people. There are typical characteristics of adolescent's criminality. The third chapter is about the civic association Prak as the example of primary prevention, program Pět P as the example of secondary prevention and tertiary prevention is shown on project Lata. There is the information about their rise, mission and goals and activities. The programs of Prak are for pupils who attend the second grade of basic or special schools and it should reinforce ethical and moral feelings and perception of young people. The main topic is the question of guilt - crime - punishment, the impact prison on human personality, personal moral standards and their creation. The program Pět P is for children between age 8 and 15 years old. They start to meet some volunteer and spend some free time together. It is good for child to have older friend, who can help him/her in difficult life situations. The project Lata is for 15 - 21 years old adults, who are in difficult situations. This graduate work include problems connected with honor crime. The aim of this work is to describe this issue. Here I want to touch upon the reasons of honor crime, I want to show countries, where this problem is common and where it happens often. I would like to show this problem in Europe as well. Also I want to find some decisions how to protect women who have to deal with this issue. I wrote this work according to professional materials, I spoke to a professional who work in this field. Domestic violence against men

This thesis deals with domestic violence against men committed by women. It starts with defining the phenomenon of domestic violence generally using the contextualization. The main part of the thesis focuses on domestic violence against men and its aspects. The characteristic features of this form of spousal assault are completed with several statistics from the Czech Republic and from abroad as well. The description of the domestic violence against men consists of typical forms of illNusage committed by women, consequences of it and the list of the most frequent cause of women's aggressiveness against partner. A brief evaluation of services provided to men under threat by most significant NGOs is included. The thesis contains public inquiry focusing on men under threat of domestic violence as well. Satanism in Metal

This thesis deals with satanism in metal music. First the theme of satanism is decribed, along with its ideology, typology and then its history from the Middle Ages through Aleister Crowley to Anton Szandor LaVey, the main figure of modern satanism. It also deals briefly with satanic symbolism, like pentagram, baphomet or inverted cross. The second part deals with metal music, its features, history and image. Satanism appears mostly in black metal, that is why a whole part is dedicated to it. Some Czech black metal groups are also introduced in this chapter. In the last part the results of questionnaires about the influence of satanism on metal music are processed. The respondents were members of Czech and Slovak metal subculture. The aim was to find out how these listeners of metal music perceive the influence of satanism on the metal scene, whether they take its features only as an entertainment or as a serious thing and whether a personal belief has any influence on music preferences.

Family Centre - the Resocialization of Mothers-Drug Addict

The work is monitoring activities and usefulness of Centre for family dealing with mothers on psychotropic addictive drugs and their re-socialization. For the possibility of examination of the programme usefulness for the target group, the single steps of the therapy are shown in a particular client case as followed during the three stages of the project. I also asked fifty clients about eleven questions. The aims of the Centre for family were the criterions for my choice of questions. The inquiry is monitoring the achieved level of re-socialization of clients. The contribution and reasonability of this project has been shown as based on the followed case, figures obtained in the inquiry and the Centre for Family results. The clients who got through the whole programme are stabilized, re-socialized and able to be a part of the society which is very significant for the growth and development of their children. This work is focused on the Centre for Family because of its uniqueness among the other institutions dealing with the drug problems. Guide dog as a Helper for Disabled People

This work consists of four parts. First of all, it deals with human needs. According to five disablement types, it focuses on the needs and possibilities of communication, self-care, spatial orientation and independent movement. The second part called "A Man and a Dog" introduces their coexistence from the past up to the present and describes how and with what a dog can help a disabled person. It describes individual kinds of service dogs and specific ways to help mitigate the impacts of disablement. It provides information on which breeds are suitable for training and describes the dog training from choosing the puppy up to its integration into the life of the user. The third part shows individual social aspects related to the purchase of a dog, demands, positives and negatives of owning a service dog. It analyses the legislative concerning the problems of assistance animals and suggests its improvement. It shows the financial problems of special dog training in this country and abroad. It also gives information on myths which are in the eyes of the uninformed public connected with the training of these dogs and analyses the current channels raising awareness of these problems. This study (Risk of the Burnout Syndrome in Caring Professions) deals with the risk of the development of the Burnout Syndrome in Caring Professions, possible prevention and therapy. In the theoretical part the dissertation describes the Burnout Syndrome and the circumstances which lead to its beginning and development. In the practical part the dissertation describes the research on the frequency of symptoms of the Burnout Syndrome (enclosed is the questionnaire of the research) and assumed positive influence of the supervision.
