Poulová, Barbora ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Title: Influence of the three month programme called Spiral vertebrae stabilization - SM system on function of the spiral muscle chains of seniors Objectives: Main objective of the thesis is to prove positive influence of group exercise by methodology of spiral vertebrae stabilization - SM system by MUDr. Richard Smisek on functions of movement system of seniors. Methods: Theses is empirically-theoretically based with using of kvaziexperiment research. There was one group of 12 participants, where 7 of them (6 women and 1 man in- between 65-75 years), were involved in three month exercise period. Participants were tested by 5 function tests by Smisek (2015), which they are evaluating function of spiral chains, with use of tailor meter and the protractor. Results: There were no substantial results during the three month intervention in the monitored parameters. The main cause was insufficient attendance, which was for more obvious results very important. It would be more relevant if we were use longer period of exercise - at least half a year. We can establish positive influence only with three participants, which they had at least fifty percent attendance. We came to the conclusion, that other physical activities of our participants also have high influence on our positive results. Keywords: SM...

Vlasáková, Jana ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Malá, Michaela (referee)
Name: Assessment of the "New speaking" method in the treatment of stuttering Objectives: Stuttering is a serious speech disorder where the consequences can significantly handicap individuals. Except the common logopedic care, there are also different alternative methods, including group therapy with the name "New speaking". The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the effect of this method from the perspective of two graduates. Methods: The main used method was exploratory (interview). Two subjects (female - 26 years old and male - 19 years old) participated in the case study. The interview consisted of fourteen questions. Results: Based on the analysis of the interviews it is possible to state that the "New Speech" method is working when the rules are followed. Absolvents perceive a subjectively significant improvement of speech with social and psychological consequences. Improvement in the social area can be supported by the fact that subjects are able to speak under all conditions and also that they perceive increase of job possibilities. The psychological improvement was less visible. It is suggested to work on their self-confidence and hardiness. Key words: speech disorder, stuttering, group therapy
Mountain trekking in diabetic patients treated with an insulin pump
Bytelová, Sophie ; Daďová, Klára (advisor) ; Majorová, Simona (referee)
Title: Mountain tourism for diabetics with an insulin pump Objectives: The aim of this study is to find out whether it is suitable for patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus treated with an insulin pump to undergo physical activity in the form of mountain tourism, as the more intense physical aktivity affects blood glucose levels and whether patients are able to work with advanced insulin pump functions. Methods: The work is conceived as an observational study of the Medtronic educational project. One day mountain hike trip of a distance about 30 km was attended by 40 patients (men and women) with diabetes aged 15-25 years. Non-invasive methods were used. The data was obtained by monitoring insulin pump probes, glucometers and continuous monitoring, which were further evaluated using the CareLink Pro software. Results: Physical activity in the form of mountain tourism is suitable for patients with DM1 treated on an insulin pump. 80% of the probands did not have a risk status of hypoglycaemia, and even though the determined normoglycemia for research was performed by a larger number of adults as opposed to children, this FA has a demonstrable effect on blood glucose levels. It also brings positive benefits for patients because they learn how to work better with advanced insulin pump functions....

DOSBABA, Filip: Aerobic capacity in relation to risk factors ischemic heart disease. Aim: of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the physiological effectiveness and influence of 12 week long rehabilitation program on development of oxygen transport system parameters (VO2maxSL, VO2maxSL.kg-1, WmaxSL, WmaxSL.kg-1, METmaxSL) and anthropometric parametrs (m, BMI). Methods: The study included 102 patients (90 % men), mean age 59.3 ± 8.9 years, with a left ventricular ejection fraction 55.3 ± 6.0 % after an acute coronary event. All patients completed 3 months aerobic-resistance training program with a frequency of sessions 3 times a week in 70 - 80 % VO2maxSL. Training session lasted 105 minutes (including 60 minutes of own aerobic training on 1. ventilatory threshold). Results: Completion of the intervention training program lead to a significant increase in work tolerance (158.6 ± 31.3 vs. 190.5 ± 34.8 W; p < 0.01) and peak oxygen consumption (20.5 ± 4.0 vs. 24.6 ± 4.0 ml.min-1.kg-1, p < 0.01) and metabolic equivalent of used energy (5.9 ± 1.1 vs. 7 ± 1.4 J.min-1.kg-1, p < 0.01). There was also observed a nonsignificant decrease in resting values of body mass index (27.5 ± 3.2 vs. 27.0 ± 3.6 kg.m-2) and weight (89.8 ± 12.7 vs. 89 ± 12.3 kg). Conclusion: Intervention training program leads to...
