Work of S. Dovlatov and E. Limonov as a part of third wave of Russian emigration

The thesis is focused on the characteristics of the third stage of Russian emigration and its position within the context of modern Russian literature. The introduction describes the unwilling migration of the people from their homeland and the difficult political situation. The core of the thesis is to draw on the life and works of two representatives of the third stage of the Russian emigration - Sergej Dovlatov and Eduard Limonov. I will focus on the major works of both authors, their relationship to emigration, the comparison of their lives, themes (real life, features of autobiography in the work, lives of the common people) and poetics (styles, Dovlatov's humor, Limonov's expressive lexis) of their works. Briefly, I will focus on the reflection of both authors in their new homeland and another life of one of them (E. Limonov). Role of president of the Russian Federation in comparison with the Czech Republic

After the upheavals and overthrows of communist dictatorships in both above described countries it came to finding of a way to create a new system of functioning of political representations. Until that time, both more or less same systems separated at the point when Russia set out for a journey of reforms and the status of the president (in comparison with the leader of the communist party) has not changed much. In the Czech milieu attempts to empower the president's powers have been noticed but have not succeeded and the president has taken a back seat, keeping powers that are not of crucial importance for his influence of power. Even though both leading representatives have many common features in the characteristics of their offices, they are just formal, representational and operational and they differ a lot in the important powers they are invested with. The president of the Russian Federation intervenes in the maintenance of the country, he is a real part of the executive power and disposes of competencies whose enforcement in some of the areas are close to the absolute power in their ends.

The specifics of working with a volunteer in leisure time activities

My thesis addresses the specifics entailed in volunteer work from the leisure time activities perspective. At the beginning of this thesis are defined used terms: the volunteer, volunteering and its aspects, charity and donation, non-profit organization, leisure time and leisure time activities. Thesis goes on with the motivation for volunteering and explains the volunteering system in ČR and its significance, including the Law of volunteering. Third part of my thesis addresses the principles of volunteering management, which contains three-phase implementation of the volunteer into the organization. Last chapter addresses the synopsis of the volunteer specifics suitable for given type of leisure time activity.

Smoking of senior Citizens

This thesis deals with "Smoking of senior Citizens". Smoking of tobacco is the most significant reason of illnesses and early death in the Czech Republic. Reduction of smoking is a basic condition for decrease of deaths caused by tumour and cardiac diseases.The goal of the thesis is to monitor prevalence of smoking in senior citizens and detect their awareness of smoking. 206 respondents at the age of sixty and above paricipated in this research. 50 % of these people vrote that they had never snoked. 20 % of informants were active smokers, at the time of this survey, and 55 % of senior citizens wrote that they considered nicotine addiction to be a disease.The author tries to verify the hypothesis concerning smoking of senior citizens who suffer from chronic disease. 44 % of the respondents, who were active smokers at the time of the survey, suffered from chronic disease. The researcher uses the next hypothesis because she wants to confirm the fact that senior citizens have a positive attitude to prohibition of smoking in the restaurants and in public areas. The research verified this hypothesis - 72 % of the informants had a positive attitude to prohibition of smoking in public.
