The topic of this diploma thesis is ?Physiognomically we have still been passers - by. Travelling as an intercultural experience in the work of Christoph Ransmayr?. This thesis is divided into seven basic parts. The first four chapters describe theoretical background of the thesis which is the Postmodernism, the Philosophy of the Postmodernism, the Interculturality and the Theory of Essays. The next chapter reports about the poetics of the narration and the aim of the last two parts is to analyze the books "Geständnisse eines Touristen" and "Der Weg nach Surabaya". The ambition of this diploma thesis is to research the relationship of Christoph Ransmayr to travelling and search for the influences of the travelling poetics in his two concrete books.

Milevsko. Its history, personalities and historical monuments

The diploma thesis, entitled ?Milevsko. Its history, personalities and historical monuments?, is concerned with a South Bohemian town situated between Tábor and Písek, which is, unfortunately, quite neglected. It outlines the history of Milevsko from prehistory up to the present with respect to the latest research. More attention is paid to the foundation of Milevsko in the twelfth century and the Premonstratensian Monastery because it?s a national cultural monument which has a great importance for the town. The Thesis includes even other historical monuments and attractions which deserve attention. All accessible information about their origin, development, present condition and purpose are compiled in appropriate passages. Both cultural heritage of the town and contemporary relationship of town representatives to this heritage and their effort to restore and preserve it is presented on the basis of bibliography. The other part of the Thesis deals with famous and, till this time, not so famous personalities from this region. Information is obtained from witnesses to history and thanks to their witness it was possible to get less known or unpublished information. More attention was paid to famous personalities, with no monographs so far, because their benefit and importance in various fields are necessary to present and highlight.

EFFECT OF REARING HEIFERS GRAZING ON MILK YIELD AND FERTILITY

The agricultural cooperative Opařany 160 pieces were selected for breeding cows anddivided into two groups. Pasture rearing and stable rearing. Which was observed fertility and milk yield. After an overall assessment of the breeding heifers, in 2007 the results of reproduction was worse in pasture system of heifer rearing. By contrast, in the next reporting period in 2008 the grazing system of heifer rearing embody improved results than rearing in stables. After a general evaluation of milk yield, the grazing system of heifer rearing is worse in 2007. In particural the amount of milk in kg and kg of protein. By contrast, in the next reporting period in 2008 the grazing system of heifer rearing reachedimproved results compared stable rearing. And as the number of milked milk in kg, and milk ingredients - % fat, which is in pasture breeding higher in all of KU. The reason of low milk yield results and reproduction charakteristic is especially in poor nutrition and ill-prepared rations, or fed on poor quality components. In the grazing system of rearing the lack of growth in individual animals is due to missing supplementary feed. And for both groups, we should look for causes of poor management and the transfer of young animals to the reproduction and subsequent production should be taken into account the current condition, not age.

Pedagogical Evaluation of Child of Pre-school Age from the Point of View of Individualization

The bachelor thesis deals with the observation of the most important developmental areas of pre-school children. The theoretical part is focused on the description of the development of pre-school children from the biological and psychical point of view. Following chapters treat the questions of pedagogic diagnostics, pedagogic evaluation and the term of individualization in the pre-school education. The practical part includes results of the application of the theoretical observations in the concrete circumstances of a nursery school and it also comprises possibilities of utilization of the acquired diagnostic data in pedagogic practice.

Employment of handicapped persons {--} an evaluation of effectiveness of benefits provided by the Labour Office in České Budějovice, Czechia

International agreements, Czech constitutional law and labour code ensure an equal treatment in a job, equal chances and the right to have satisfactory work conditions. Furthermore it is stipulated that handicapped persons can claim a higher level of health protection when working, special work conditions, special protection in work relations and assistance in career preparation in order to prevent discrimination. Even though the society provides higher protection to handicapped people, problems with their employment are still deepening. The objective of the present diploma thesis was to give an insight in this situation. The main goal of this thesis was to determine the effectiveness of benefits provided by the Labour Office in České Budějovice. A sub-goal was to ascertain employers{\crq} comments on the benefits which are provided by the Labour Office in České Budějovice. The supposed hypothesis to the main goal reads: ``The higher the amount of benefits, the smaller the number of handicapped job seekers recorded with the Labour Office. And thus benefits are considered effective.{\crq}q The supposed hypothesis to the sub-goal is: ``Employers{\crq} comments are related to the insufficient amount of the benefits to support employment of handicapped people.{\crq}q In order to achieve the main goal in the research, the author applied analysis of documents, the quantitative technique, secondary analysis of data, making use of statistics from 2004 to the end of 2008 provided by the Labour Office in České Budějovice. In order to achieve the sub-goal, the author applied one of questioning methods {--} the quantitative technique of a questionnaire, which was given to an employer who employs more than 50 % handicapped people and who does his business in the district of České Budějovice. The supposed hypothesis to the main goal has not been confirmed by the research. The research has shown an increasing amount of benefits paid to employers and at the same time an increasing number of handicapped job seekers recorded with the Labour Office. The supposed hypothesis to the sub-goal has not been confirmed either.

THE EMPLOYMENT OF DISABLED PEOPLE IN LABOUR MARKET IN ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE AND ZNOJMO REGIONS

A lot of handicapped people can{\crq}t do their work and practise with appropriate qualification. Life of health infliction or handicapped people is influenced from biological, psychological, spiritual and social point of view as well. Due to infliction human being has to accept new way of life, improve their knowledge, create new social contacts, get into new environment, simply change completely the way of life. It{\crq}s upon each and every person, how to came up with it{\crq}s own health infliction, new situations which brings crisis to the different dimensions of human life. Employers, employment office staff, family and other people as well could help to create better conditions to allow them to stay in their original native environment where they feel best. There are also cases, where handicapped people can{\crq}t attend their working place or perform their job at all. The best solution for those people is to provide them contacts from proper social environment to ensure social, psychological and spiritual development to avoid ingraxescent of their health condition.

Peculiarities of regulation of the insurance market

This work deals firstly with the regulation of insurance in general terms and then the real or practical ones. The general part deals with the reasons for regulation, its evolution and possible forms. The practical part of the work is trying to see what form of regulation of the insurance market is currently in the Czech Republic and then in the European Union. Mentioned is also the development of regulation with regard to present and future.

Exportní příležitosti na trhu Spojených arabských emirátů s přihlédnutím ke kulturním odlišnostem

Hlavním tématem práce je zahraniční obchod Spojených arabských emirátů, zejména jeho zhodnocení ze strany příležitostí pro podnikatelské subjekty z České republiky. Zásadní informace se týkají konkrétních obchodních vztahů SAE - ČR, forem podpory českých exportérů, výčtu perspektivních odvětví trhu, možných forem vstupu na trh i popisu konkrétních českých firem, na trhu SAE již přítomných. Součástí je samozřejmě též obecný popis SAE od geografických údajů, přes historii až ke specifikům země, důležitým z pohledu obchodu (vlivy náboženství, popis obchodního jednání s arabským partnerem atd.).
